Jim’s place was great, with plenty to see in the area. We ended up spending most of the time enjoying the little beach and kayaks. Very cute house with plenty of room and we’ll stocked kitchen. The grill made for a perfect Labor Day cookout looking out at the water. Would stay again.

Ann’s place is a must stay! We spent a relaxing weekend in this gorgeous home, overlooking an idyllic Mystic River. So conveniently located to more restaurants and shops than you could ever visit, and yet a world away set among the trees. This house is perfect for our family of three and we could have easily accommodated 2 more adults! The space is tranquil and spacious, and Ann provided some goodies (even for our son!) upon our arrival. The house is stocked with anything you could possibly need or want, inclusive of outdoor amenities. My husband and I are already looking to rebook…truly cannot recommend this stay enough!

The house was beautiful and scenery breathtaking. We loved watching the ice fishing, skating and go carting on the lake! We even went out on the frozen lake! It was close to my daughter’s home in Voluntown…. Only 4 minutes away! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond as we were there to celebrate my granddaughters’ first birthday! They left a gift for her and some welcome gifts for us too! Amazing!! They brought a table and chairs for extra seating!! Phil and Staci were amazing hosts and always responsive. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Laurie is a wonderful and generous host. Though we did not take advantage of it, she let us know that early check-in was possible on our arrival date. When we did arrive, we were greeted with a lovely care package of treats, including excellent treats for our dog. Really nice touches, and much appreciated. The space is clean and spacious, free of clutter, with a nice kitchen. We are especially grateful for pet-friendly hosts, and Laurie's place was truly excellent. Even non-pet people should find the space very suitable. There are no signs that other dogs had stayed there, the space, furniture and linens are all very clean. Great host, great place!

I have stayed at lots of places in the last few years . . . and this place ranks right at the top. It is beyond beautiful. The water views from the living room and both bedrooms made it hard to leave and come home. It's actually even more amazing than the pictures. Don't think twice! Book this place now!

Great spot to stay and enjoy the local area. Beautiful view of the water. Great spots inside and outside the home to sit and take in the views too! Perfect for a family of four.

Amazing house with amazing views from both decks of beautiful estuary & wonderful wildlife. Estuary is connected to ocean and we enjoyed using owners’ boats to paddle out and explore! 5 Stars!

We loved the lakehouse! The setting and house were more beautiful than the photos. Panoramic lake views abound from inside and outside the house. The kitchen has new appliances and the house was toasty on a few very cold days. Also, there is a nice fire pit, outdoor lounge area, and a new dock that is amazing at night to walk out onto and gaze up at the stars. The sunrises and sunsets are visible from the property and provide a bonus. It’s very peaceful and everyone in my group slept well. I hope to be back in the warmer weather to swim, kayak, and unwind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay— cozy house with everything we needed, beautiful and clean water for swimming and private location. The couch was a little uncomfortable for long sitting or napping but otherwise the house was very comfortable and generously met our group’s needs.

This was our 2nd stay at the Lake Cottage. The cottage is the perfect size, very clean and well kept. The view from inside and from the patio of the lake is stunning! Reb is the perfect host - ready with suggestions of where to eat, etc. if we didn't feel like cooking. Relaxing indoors or out was refreshing - just what we needed. We hope to make it there a 3rd time next year.

Gerard was a great host and the home was wonderful! We had a great time in Mystic and this was the perfect place for our little family.

Cute and clean beach house on the bay. The water view is wonderful, and for a small cottage, it's actually relatively spacious. It's located in a quiet and purely residential neighborhood but also conveniently located and a very quick drive into town. I was there with a group of only adults, and there were some complaints about the age/comfort of the mattresses outside the primary bedroom (I slept on that bed, and it was great). It is an older home with accompanying wear, quirks and noises, but very charming and lovely overall. Hosts were helpful and responsive.

Amazing staff and excellent food. Luxurious delivery right to our door for breakfast. Cute patio to hang out in the back yard. Access to Lantern Hill trail was a nice addition to our morning!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the location was beautiful. We stayed for a few days and celebrated our early family Christmas here. It ended up snowing, which made the surrounding Connecticut forest even more beautiful. We found the cabin cozy and peaceful, with the town just 10 minutes away for anything we’d need. I definitely plan to keep this listing in mind for next time I’m visiting family in Connecticut.

Marcie’s place was lovely! I stayed as a single woman and the neighborhood felt safe and friendly. The house was filled with sun and the view was beautiful. I will be back! Thank you Marcie for sharing your home!

Clean and cozy cabin. Close to Mystic without being right in the thick of it. We enjoyed a night by the fire with a friendly local fisherman. It worked nicely for our short trip to the area.

We were looking for a quiet, cozy, and private weekend with the exception of a concert at Foxwoods (about 10 miles away). Tim's cabin was the perfect fit for us. The cabin was as described. Tim was very accommodating. The setting is beautiful. A great getaway location close enough to either of the casinos if that's your interest. Looking forward to going back in the future.

Great spot. We weren’t there to take advantage of the little marina and kayaks— though that would have been cool! Had a weekend event in New London and this was very easy, super straightforward and quiet. Thank you, Paul!

I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

My husband and I had a great weekend stay at Lakeside Landing. It was conveniently located near Foxwoods. We thoroughly enjoyed a more quiet setting for some relaxing for a childfree weekend. The house was super cute and offered everything we needed. It was nice to hear peepers at night and enjoy the night sky from the hot tub.

What a gorgeous place! As other guests have noted, the photos just don’t do it justice. October is the perfect time to sit on the dock with some coffee and take in the fall foliage.. The house is super cute and well appointed, I think it might be the best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Lots of lovely plates and glasses and festive little napkins and towels. This was a mom/daughter girls weekend, and everyone was impressed with the toiletries in the bathroom. The house was super clean and the beds were comfy, we can’t wait to go back!

Paul was very responsive. When we got there our room had not been cleaned. We got in touch with him and he immediately switched our room to a clean one which was fine. He was very apologetic and even brought us a bottle of prosecco. The place was cute, modern, and clean. Can't really walk to anything because it's off a busy road but it sits on the river with a beautiful view and many chairs to sit in and enjoy. We made a fire in the fire pit and cooked on the grill one chilly night. It was very nice. Close and convenient to many attractions in the area. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed it too.

The cabin was wonderful! Clean bathroom, kitchen and bedding! The heat worked great, nice and toasty. We slept very comfortably and sound. We felt safe a secure in the cabin and surrounding areas. The view of the lake in the morning was beautiful. We did not get a chance to walk around but we are hoping to return in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you Angela for allowing us to use you cabin to make great memories!
