So nice we came back twice! Didn’t expect to return so soon but when an opportunity presented itself to re-visit Taos, we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. In between commitments, it’s so lovely to settle into this sweet space for a quiet repose. We can’t say enough good things about the boxcar, its beautiful surroundings and generous hosts.

The casita is lovely, clean and comfortable with lots of natural light, and feels safe. The kitchen is really well stocked and has everything that you might need to cook a meal. Julie and Scott are very welcoming, flexible, and easy to communicate with. The property itself is very cool, lots of room to walk around, even has access to a river. Would recommend to a friend!

Loved the location. Trails, restaurant and nice bookstore nearby. I'd recommend the breakfast sandwiches and turkish coffee at Satellite Coffee also.

We loved our stay at Humming Grove. It was so peaceful (well, at least until my kids arrived). We had a lot of contact with the hosts, they showed us around the property, invited my kids to use their trampoline, and introduced them to their puppy and the neighbor’s horse. My kids adored all of this attention, but I’m sure they would have given us space if that’s what we wanted. The studio and outdoor space were really lovely, clean and serene. Everything was functional. I LOVED that there was a compost bin as well as recycling in the kitchen - so many Airbnbs lack this! Also the French press and tea selection were much appreciated.

Our stay at Sanjay’s house exceeded our expectations. The house is both beautiful and unique and ideal for a large family or two families to share. We were impressed with the cleanliness and how well stocked the house was to make our stay comfortable. The addeded benefits of the house having a hot tub and a fire pit with an amazing view of the mountains made for even a more unique experience. The house also has two wood fire ovens which were not only fun to use, but added additional heat to the house which was lovely. Our family has three boys and the second floor was perfect for them to have their own space and living room to hook up their PlayStation…a wonderful amenity for everyone to have their own space at the end of a long day skiing. We highly recommend Sanjay’s house and are already planning our next stay!

Wonderful casita! If you are looking for a peaceful stay in a natural setting you will love it here. Sandy and Peter were super welcoming and informative about places to see in the area, and hikes right out the door. Birds, the sound of coyotes, and beautiful sunsets make for very pleasant memories. The kitchen was one of the best stocked that I have encountered; everything we needed. We highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying here while on a ski trip. A great place to relax after a long day!

I wish I could give this place more than five stars. We stayed for a night on a cross country roadtrip and arriving here was such a breath of fresh air. It’s so calming and welcoming inside, and it even smells amazing. There were tons of thoughtful touches that we really appreciated, like a welcome basket of snacks with a hand written note. Our baby LOVED meeting the goats and it’s so cool that you can just walk out and see them whenever you feel like it. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. If you get a chance to book, just do it!

We had a wonderful weekend at the bougie. The property was amazing with a short little walk to view the beautiful mountains as well as many places to relax around the property. We really enjoyed the home as well, it had everything you need. And the hot tub was a plus. Also you are not too far from town but far enough away to feel that you are by yourself.

We loved staying at Maxx’s beautiful home and property. We had all that we needed for a quiet holiday with our dogs. The area was so peaceful, quiet and was the perfect getaway we’d love to come back to!

I had a great experience staying here! It was the perfect (and gorgeous) mini-getaway for me and my spouse + dogs. The hosts were communicative, friendly, and very clear with their instructions. All in all, a wonderful stay at this beautiful casita. Would definitely stay here again!

Aline’s place was a nice break from the urban hustle. The tiny home was all we needed to crash at night, and the location is close enough to get to everywhere we needed to and still very secluded to forget it all. The friendly alpacas, dogs, and cats roaming around the place are a brilliant extra.

Very nice stay. Cute little Casita out of town a couple of miles. Very relaxing with the necessary amenities. Definitely will stay there again!

My friend and I (both women in our mid-twenties) loved staying with Monique for three nights. She was happy to accommodate our late arrival time and even let us stay longer on our final day. I especially enjoyed meeting her menagerie of animals and soaking in the desert sunrises and sunsets each day. Monique also gave us stellar local recommendations (including visiting the lovely nearby town of Madrid) and was an all-around fantastic host. The AirStream was very comfortable, even in the heat of the day (~80s) or the chillier nights (~40s). It’s also well-situated, about 20-30 minutes to Santa Fe and less than an hour to Albuquerque. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to other young folks traveling as couple or pair of friends.

when we come to Taos, we always come to Juan & Patty place, we have been coming for many years and it is always a pleasure to come back.

Irma had forgotten to send us the code to get into the house, but quickly responded when we arrived. The house was very clean and homey. We appreciated the welcome gift of snacks and wine - a nice added touch. The neighborhood was quiet and with easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. We loved the outdoor recreation, farmers market, and great places to eat. We enjoyed learning the history and cultural heirtage through the museums and cultural center. Las Cruces and Mesilla have a lot to offer. We will be back next winter and hope to take in theater and music events, more hiking adventures, and returning to our favorite eating places.

This cabin was a great place to stay. There was plenty of room. It met all of our needs. I would stay here again!

Nothing matches these views and the peaceful atmosphere. The place was as described, comfortable for myself and my 2 children. had all kitchen amenties to make ourselves at home as well. A short drive to all things Taos and the Rio Grande Bridge. Thank you for a smooth experience and sharing your sweet casita with us!

Our stay at Julie’s was lovely. Accurately described and perfect for our needs. Very responsive when needed. It’s well over an hour and a half from the Gila cliff dwellings when you factor in the many sharp turns and mountain roads. I would definitely stay at Julie’s again!

Great host and great home. Not that close to Santa Fe or point of interest but this is how you pay less.

A quiet peaceful place to get away from it all. We found the location ideal in it's beautiful setting as well as being convenient to both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The host was clear and responsive in all communications. Expectations were clear and reasonable. We found everything we needed in the house. A great stay which we recommend to others.

Great stay, loved the hot tub and views. Secluded and peaceful but still had good access to grocery stores, etc.
