So nice we came back twice! Didn’t expect to return so soon but when an opportunity presented itself to re-visit Taos, we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. In between commitments, it’s so lovely to settle into this sweet space for a quiet repose. We can’t say enough good things about the boxcar, its beautiful surroundings and generous hosts.

Great experience, will be back, beautiful area. Definitely a peaceful escape and friendly host.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hobbit house. It was spacious and well equipped with an enormous and very comfortable bed, in a peaceful and beautiful location with a pleasant 2 mile walk into Taos. It was great to experience the earliest iteration of the earthship, and to see how well it coped with the hot days and cool nights of autumn. We particularly enjoyed the shower and toilet surrounded by plants. It would probably not be to everyone's taste - but not to be missed if, like us, you are interested in architecture and sustainability.

We had a lovely stay at Sara's. It was very walkable to Old Town and there was a great coffee shop a couple of blocks away. The casita was clean and comfortable and Sara was very friendly and accommodating.

I've stayed at a LOT of Airbnbs. This was the best one by several powers of ten. It's so relaxing, quiet, beautiful, and comfortable. We spent almost a whole week there and just felt... easy. It's close to everything but feels so far away. We did a lot in the area, but we could have spent the whole week in the unit and still had a really nice time. Do yourself a favor, and book this one.

The casita in Pinos Altos was amazing. Everything is artfully and carefully arranged. The owners obviously care deeply that their guests will have a good visit. The place is charming and efficient. The bed is firm and cozy. The sitting area is cozy. Lots of books and ideas for enjoying the area. The shower is wonderful. They have made great use of the space. Their instructions are clear and concise. The book on exploring the town and recreation area is amazing.

Great place in a beautiful spot and friendly and welcoming hosts. Would highly recommend it.

Had an absolute wonderful stay away from home and was able to fully disconnect to recharge and gained a clear mind. Beautiful area and so wonderful to see the wildlife even as it snowed.

This place was clean and it was decorated so cute! I definitely recommend this place!!

What a gem! The casita was lovely, the hosts were friendly, and the location is incredible. Gary was also very patient with my son, who was quite excited about the animals. The whole stay made it a great first-time-with-horses experience for him (he's already asking to go back!). Oh, and the muffins were fantastic.

We had such a great stay at Kathleen’s place in Madrid. The “shack” felt modern and stylish but still has that cozy charm. Everything was really well thought out, and it had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The bed was super comfy, and the linens were so plush and soft, which made it even better. One of the little things we really enjoyed was the radio. We kept it on and listened to KMRD-LP 96.9 FM while hanging out, which just added to the whole small-town feel. Madrid itself is such a cool place with tons of unique shops and a fun, artsy vibe. Kathleen and her partner own Range West Gallery in town and even offer a discount to guests, which was such a nice perk. It was also really easy to find, especially if you screenshot the directions ahead of time and check it out on Google Street View before you go. The area felt completely safe and easy to walk around, even at night. If you’re looking for a cozy and unique stay near Santa Fe, this is a great choice!

The charm of Sonnie’s Shangri-La is unmatched! The unique decor and design of the guest house and property is great to set the mood of any couple’s or solo getaway. The personal touches are what Airbnbs were always meant to be. The location was 11/10 (we spent an entire day on foot into town easily) and the gated property makes you feel so safe at night. Looking forward to returning soon, this property and Sonnie’s hospitality is the BEST in the area!

Ivanna’s place is a perfect place to stay while exploring Cloudcroft! The kitchen is quite spacious (for a cabin) and the shower is wonderfully hot. Nothing to complain about.

This is why I like Airbnb over a hotel. It's so nice to be welcomed and have a cozy, comfortable little place to stay the night. We will definitely stay here again when coming to Albuquerque.

We stayed here before, this was second time here the stay here was comfortable and felt right at home and we look forward to more stays here. The hosts are very responsive and friendly, everything was clean and welcoming!

Abby & Dean’s space was perfect! I was looking for a place that would help me recharge and get over some writers block, and this space was exactly what I needed. The sunrises/sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, and their artwork/decorations are so beautiful. Abby & Dean were responsive and made me feel right at home. Additionally, they have the sweetest dog named Oki who visits occasionally for a treat and a pet. :) Taos is similarly a great place to find creativity and inspiration. I will definitely be coming back in the summer/fall months to do more hiking!

Absolutely loved the space. Very quiet while being right in town and the stars were awesome. Will definitely be back with more time to use the hot springs! Cute little town and the vibe of the place matched perfectly.

Katrina’s place is perfection in an Airbnb. The interior was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The mountain views were a highlight, and the area felt safe and quiet. There were plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby, making it easy to explore. They provided local recommendations and we checked out several of them. Katrina and her family were wonderful hosts—very responsive and thoughtful. They even provided toys for our 11-month-old, which was a great touch and she loved playing with them. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in. Highly recommend!
