This is our second time staying in Stacy’s yurt and it very much works for our family of 4 with dog. We camp a lot so feel very comfortable with any rustic parts of the yurt. And the view and stars are lovely!

Our first time in a yurt and we loved it! Carol was so friendly and accommodating - it was a little chilly so she started the pellet stove for us. Easy on and off the highway and in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed, first time in a Yurt, and we didn’t want to leave. The property is so special and feels like sacred ground. We watched the sunrise over the canyon on Christmas morning, it was magical. Every morning we took coffee and walked over and sat by the canyon to watch the sunrise. The canyon is a short walk from the Yurt. The night sky was unbelievable, felt like we were in a planetarium. There were special touches on the property that were adorable, like the Christmas tree near the horse stables and the reindeer by the hot tub. The Yurt is very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed on our stay. The wood burning stove was a plus and kept us warm and toasty. Bodes grocery store is a must stop for fresh sandwiches made daily. Also have cute souvenirs. The Abiquiú Inn has a great restaurant, and delicious breakfast. We hiked every day in the area with our dog. Plaza Blanca was one of my favorite hikes. We loved this property so much

Staying at this secluded yurt in the woods was an incredible experience. The peacefulness of the surroundings, combined with the cozy and well-appointed interior, made for the perfect getaway. The yurt was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in nature while still enjoying modern comforts. Waking up to the sounds of birds and sipping coffee on the deck while surrounded by trees was truly rejuvenating. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or an adventure in the great outdoors, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend

We stayed in mid-March, getting four seasons in a day. We woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground and hot coffee from the well-stocked kitchen, then rolled up the windows midday to let the warm breeze in after returning from visiting Plaza Blanca and Ghost Ranch, wrapping up the day by stoking the woodstove and stargazing on the deck. Bodes General store is just 5 minutes away and it's got pretty much everything. Be sure to catch a meal at Cafe Sierra Negra where everything is delicious (and most gf!). The yurt feels surprisingly spacious, and so cozy. If you follow the trail past the meditation spot, you can explore Cerrito Blanco, then as a bonus the hosts dog, Osa, will greet you on your way back. We loved our stay, historic winds and all. Really a special place.
