Chris is an utter sweetheart and her house was a very pleasant and comfortable home away from home for a long weekend.

Pip was a wonderful host in every way and such a lovely person. Both Pip and Steve were very friendly and welcoming. Their Airbnb was a 'home away from home' and the best AirB&B we have stayed in. It was extremely comfortable, homely, beautifully decorated, clean, and lots of space in all the rooms. We had a large lounge area to use too. The beautiful, well-equipped kitchen was shared but we never saw them as they worked around our timings. The continental breakfast provided was delicious and there was lots of choice. The AirB&B is in a quiet area with a lovely garden. Pip and Steve were discreet and quiet but easily available if we needed anything and were very helpful. We enjoyed a beautiful 20 min walk that they recommended along the river, closeby, that takes you right into town. We would love to stay again in such a special home :-).

In dem Haus von Mei und Gabriel habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt, die beiden sind sehr herzlich und bieten einen wunderbaren Service. Alles ist dort vom feinsten und tolle Gespräche hatte ich auch mit den beiden. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The house had everything we needed and more. It was just a stone's throw away from the Te Matatini venue, which made it incredibly convenient for us. Plus, it was close to Countdown and other shops, making grocery runs a breeze. The beds were super comfy, and the house was well-equipped with everything to make our stay feel like home. Our dog absolutely loved it here, especially since it’s pet-friendly. The air conditioning was a game-changer, keeping us cool throughout our stay. We were also grateful for the use of the washing machine—such a great extra touch! The neighborhood was friendly, and welcoming, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. We even received a lovely fruit basket and cereals, which felt like a thoughtful gesture. We were sad to leave and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended! Thank you Heather, my whanau and I loved our stay.

Davina’s Secret Garden is such a cozy and inviting place! The house is super spacious and has a warm, rustic charm with beautiful furniture and thoughtful details throughout. The pantry was well-stocked, and there were even some goodies in the fridge, which was a lovely surprise. The garden outside is peaceful and full of character—perfect for relaxing. It really felt like a home away from home. Definitely planning to come back!

Jennie welcomed us in person to her home, we arrived late but she was happy to wait for us. Jennie’s a very ‘warming’ host, communicates well, with an ‘above & beyond’ attitude without being intrusive, her home is clean, well presented & immaculate in every detail, but very homely (it’s like staying in a top line hotel, but homely). it is located in a peaceful neighbourhood VERY close to the city & Pukekura Park. but the peace & quiet is noticable & much appreciated. a lovely home & place to stay with an equally lovely host, thanks Jennie. we can’t say enough about this BnB & happily recommend Jennie’s home to anyone looking to stay in New Plymouth. we are from Te Puke & wouldn’t hesitate to book Jennie’s home again if we are back down this way in the future.

Holli was the most gracious host. Her communication is top tier, her place was a home away from home with the most gorgeous views of weld beach in the front and Mt Taranaki in the back. Practically Mother Nature on her doorsteps, great way to start the day with a morning cuppa. The rooms were large and spacious with heavenly comfortable beds. Linen is 100% comfort. Bathroom was extremely large and spacious too, the entire house has a great farm vibe that flows all the way through. The kitchen and dining is beautiful and open. Lounge area is comfortable for all to gather. Woolworths is about a 15 min drive. Thank you so very much for hosting my daughter and I. So grateful to you Holli and of course Brew the sweetest little boy 🥰

Awesome place to stay, and the host was amazing.

Even through the owners lived upstairs they both were very accommodating and respectful hosts. I was very comfortable being there, as I never book apartments with the hosts on site. I did have anxiety about this, but the hosts left me and my family to our business. They work early hours of the morning and were very discrete when they came and went. I enjoyed my stay and I made do with the amenities they provided. The fridge was small, but we had a chilly bin with us, so it sufficed for our drinks. There is no oven, but a hot plate is also provided as well as a plug-in pan. This served us fine. I am very thankful to the hosts who also allowed me to use airbeds for an extra child that came with me as well. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. 5 of us stayed in the small cute two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment for a week and we loved it. Would highly recommend.

We had the best stay at Helen’s! Loved all the small touches, great communication and very tidy. It’s an incredible location close to the beach and amenities. We’ll be back!

What a gem! Lovely b&b, lovely hosts, lovely location. Everything as described and our hosts went out of their way to help when we arrived late, offered recommendations for meals, etc. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Tonia was very responsive in the lead up to my stay, and very friendly when I arrived. Everything was pristine and exactly as described/in pictures. An all around great host - would recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Marlene's space, Central On Sea. Marlene is a fantastic host. She is very kind and hospitable, and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. This is a great location. It feels private and peaceful while also being walking distance to cafes and restaurants. And it is right in front of the sea with access to walkways around the coastline (right across the road). The space itself has plenty of room. Nice big bathroom. The kitchen had all we needed should we need to fix a meal, although we found ourselves enjoying the wonderful restaurants in New Plymouth, mostly. I highly recommend staying at Central On Sea. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Marlene!

Ian communicated with is very timely after booking , with well thought out instructions and key codes to self access to the front door and the room. As we had just flown back from Scotland, 26 hour flight and then 4.5 hour drive to NP and feeling a little bushed after the long haul, he very kindly ll allowed us to check in at 12pm as a room was ready to go, extremely grateful, room was perfect, with electric blankets and split aircon system in the room if needed, tea/coffee facilities and real milk. It has its own ensuite bathroom with all the trimmings, soaps, shampoo's, towels floor mats sparkling clean and well lit. The surroundings are very peaceful and subdue next to a running stream, with outdoor tables and chairs weather permitting. A 3 minute drive to nearest supermarket for supplies if cooking is your bag in a simplistic but we'll functioning kitchen with utensils to cater for your every requirements, Thanks Bobby and Ian for a relaxing and peaceful stay, highly recommend

Nice surroundings, very clean and new room with own bathroom and mini fridge. We enjoyed watching movie on Netflix during our stay.

Just what we needed- my husband, son, and I were very comfortable in our two rooms. Judy and Dennis were both very pleasant in our interactions and Judy went out of her way to give us personalized information for our situation as well as recommendations. It was clean, easy to find, and a great location.

Kerry was a well prepared host. We really felt at home. As soon as you enter the house, you can find the artistic sence of her. She introduced places of interest which was wonderful! More than willing to visit again. I wonder why she is not super host yet.
