Lisa and James were awesome from booking,check in and check out. Very easy to get into, they mentioned the maps might lead us a different direction but had zero issues finding the place and getting right in. The home was exactly as described and amazing, never had an issue. SUPER PEACEFUL AND QUIET! Highly recommend stopping at a food store prior to coming up so once you’re here, you’re good to go!

We had such an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The hosts are super kind, easy to talk to, and very responsive. They give very clear instructions and make check in and check out a breeze. The cabin was spotless and welcoming. We were given great recommendations for the area as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved our experience! Hot tub worked well, sitting out back was so serene and peaceful, saw lots of wildlife in the area. Home itself is clean and cozy, we enjoyed watching movies by the fire.

Cozy, clean. Perfect for a weekend getaway with access to Blacksburg and all the nature around it.

Place was great. Zoe, the outdoor cat was adorable and friendly. Just make sure if you are following your gps you look for the sign by the road!

Beautiful home. Quiet surroundings. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Really enjoyed the hot tub! Very clean and well stocked. DoorDash was available and made it.

David really has thought through each aspect of the stay, from privacy, to relaxation spaces, to convenient items like robes for the sauna and bowls for your dog. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Floyd is such a lovely place to visit, with lots to do, but this spot was designed so well we really wanted to just stay back and relax, have coffee on the porch, and use the sauna. So thankful we found this spot, and we would love to come back some time!

What a cozy home with a beautiful view. If you’re looking for somewhere you can just getaway and soak up what nature provides it’s here. 10/10 experience for us and we really hope to visit this home again. The view from the front porch is breath taking, especially when the sun starts to set and the mountains glow. The wild life activity here is also amazing. Every morning and night you can look out side and see deer grazing, birds flying, and chipmunks running around. Just a wonderful experience all together.

We had such a wonderful stay! It was the perfect location for those bucket list hikes. Nice and secluded and peaceful but not too far out of the way to still enjoy the local restaurants. We loved reading and enjoying lunch and coffee in the solarium out back too. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to book again!

We came in after dark so when we woke up and we got to see the beautiful area we were in - truly Gods country. A river a “stones throw” beside us, horses across the street to watch. A huge bonus for allowing our dogs to come with us for some peace and quiet! Danielle’s hand written note was the perfect start of our weekend. Highly recommend.

Such a special place to stay! The cabin is wonderfully cozy and homey, with windows open we could hear birdsong every morning and gentle rains at night. Kitchen is well suited for lots of cooking, and the array of books and games was impressive. We loved hiking in the surrounding areas, and equally enjoyed being able to rest here in the evenings. Highly recommend :)

Once we found the property it was BEAUTIFUL and even better than the pictures. The house if stocked with anything that you would need and more. It was hard to leave without purchasing some of the amazing art!

Loved the , big house, big kitchen, going to the winery right there was really cool and seeing all the grape vines (although they were brown due to being winter of course) had a nice area for kids and dogs too play. Had a fire pit and they had a bunch of camping chairs to use which was cool. Kitchen stocked with almost all the cookware you’d need. Great sta for a great price

The cabin was as described. Lovely space with all listed amenities. Briggs was extremely helpful, kind, and fast to respond. I recommend this listing to anyone visiting beautiful Ashe County.

We felt at home the moment we walked in. Cliff’s River cabin is very inviting and comfy. We loved the vintage/rustic ambiance. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked. The shower pressure, WiFi and phone reception, were awesome. The heater kept us warm and cozy and there were plenty of extra blankets, if needed. The back porch with the river view was great! What a wonderful place to recharge after a day of hiking and exploring the New River Gorge National Park and Babcock/Bluestone State Parks. Thanks, Cliff!

This was exactly what I needed. The cabin was easy to find for how peaceful it was. It is not too far from town so making stops at local stores and restaurants was a quick trip up the road. Unfortunately the blue ridge parkway was closed during our visit but I was shocked to see when leaving the property we were only two right turns from it. It is in such a great location, tucked away but not too far from everything. The cabin itself was just as the pictures showed, there was plenty of space to stretch out in between our planned activities. You can tell the cabin was well maintained and kept clean. The recommendations left on the counter in the kitchen for local restaurants served us well, as well as the maps left us in a great spot for choosing our daily adventures! All in all when I plan on coming back up to the area I will definitely be checking here to see if the cabin is available again so that I know I have somewhere safe, secure, and private in the area to rest my head.

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

Setting was beautiful! Loved the hot tub on the porch and the views were stunning. Host was very nice, breakfast was awesome each morning, enjoyed the privacy. I would return for another stay anytime

What an amazing stay! Such a cozy cabin and warm ambience. From cozying up inside by the fire to sipping coffee on the porch it was the relaxing stay that I so desperately needed. The porch is expansive and has extremely comfortable rockers, the bed upstairs with the soft lighting at night is romantic and relaxing, and the property was really enjoyable to walk around. The host was friendly and very responsive. I had a wonderful time with my fur babies and would definitely come back.

The cabin is so secluded. At night we heard nothing but wildlife. It was so quiet we could hear the Mayo river even though it was a half mile away. Anytime I can get somewhere where there is next to no cell phone service, I am happy. It was a nice short walk to the rapids and my family spent most of the day there.

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.

Robert is a great host, extremely friendly and responsive to all our questions! It was snowing when we visiting, and the road the cabin is on was plowed making it easily accessible. Temperatures were in the single digits at nice, but the place is well insulated and stayed cozy.

Another wonderful Christmas week vacation at your cabin. The hot water was endless, the Christmas tree and decorations were awesome again, and we really loved the security gate at the base of the mountain road going up to your property! we cooked a standing rib roast with all the trimmings! we also hiked at the Raptor Observatory and around the property roads. Every morning and evening we saw between 7-14 turkey and/or deer! we liked the new trash shed out back as well....plenty of room and clean as always! This is our favorite cabin in WV; in the fall you were booked and we stayed elsewhere and it was nice, but your property is more to our liking due to all the privacy and peace and quiet. We will soon be booking for our spring/summer trip and we plan to bring our mountain bikes and do some riding. Thanks again Tammy and Benny for making our holiday! Happy New Year!
