Tony and I had an amazing and very romantic weekend staying in the carriage. A very unique accommodation and a fantastic experience.the extra special touches like farm fresh eggs left for us to have with our breakfast and having a hot bath whilst the sun was setting was amazing.We especially loved the guided tour of the farm getting to feed the pigs , sheep and cows and patting the donkey and family dogs is something we will never forget.Thankyou so much for an amazing weekend 🤗🥰

We had a fantastic stay. They are so friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view so that’s a great start of the day. Hopefully we will be back in the area so we can schedule more time @ they’re relaxing property. We definitely recommend staying here ☺️.

Absolutely spectacular. Beautiful location, quiet and private. Stunning old train carriages decked out beautifully with period, quality furnishing, sheets, curtains and all. It was a true pleasure to stay here and experience what is clearly a train fanatics life work. Place was spotless, well maintained, had everything you need and is a must stay. Very quaint cabin. Beautiful details. Gorgeous having breakfast on the deck beneath the grape vine, watching the finches dart between the branches of trees and on the lawn. Enjoying a fresh loaf of sourdough bread and butter. Handful of fresh blueberries picked straight off the vine from our lovely host, Cate. How good is that!

Firstly, what a great experience we had, sleeping in the old train! Our kids had so much fun to stay there. Toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, playing with friendly dog Lenny, checking chooks, ping pongs, we could do so much things in addition to staying on the train. Plus, everything is so organised and the place was very neat and clean. Thank you, Benjamin and Kayla for your hospitality.

This carriage was the reason we chose Sydney as a holiday destination. It was beyond our wildest imagination! - I brought my 4 years old daughter and she is just so extremely excited and bonded with all the animals immediately - it’s only around 1 hr 45 mins drive from the airport area. - the carriage is beautiful, it’s such a mind blowing experience with goat peeping its head into our kitchen in the morning to say hello - the carriage is old but super clean! It has historical markings. Everything felt so magical - the host showed us around in the morning to feed pigs and we played with their dogs too - the experience with the animals is right within our carriage compound. So even my introverted parents could enjoy it without a lot of interactions with the host - just 5 mins walk there’s a private river, flying fox, treehouse and swing - even though it’s a “glamping” experience but there’s Nespresso, bottle of wine, eggs, and full amenities even board games! It was an amazing experience. Loved the full cream and treats on arrival. Beds were super comfortable. Great bedding. Lots of TLC went into the restoration of these trains. Love, love, love.

I had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The space is beautifully decorated, cozy, and impeccably clean. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, from the comfortable furniture to the little touches. The location is perfect—close to all the best local attractions yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable, offering great recommendations and ensuring I had everything I needed.I can't recommend this place enough! It was the perfect getaway, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you for making my trip so special!

We loved our stay at Roslynmead. The surroundings were serene and the train itself was clean, fun and characterful. The kids loved it!!!! Especially the outdoor bath. We would love to return in the future.

We had a delightful stay, perfect for a getaway with my train enthusiast spouse. The train track nearby didn’t bother us at all, it was nice to spot some trains passing by. The accommodation was classy and elegantly styled. We had everything we needed. The inside was much roomier than I expected. Thank you for a special time.

I've stayed at the Railroad Park in Shasta CA and know all about these types of accommodations. The reviews are accurate and it's a bit rustic but overall fantastic. We did have some issues that the host resolved quickly and amicably. No heat in the main section, only at each end in each room but my room heat did not work nor was there a space heater, at 42C in the early morning, I was under 3 blankets. There are 3 barbecue grills, 2 are rusted and the third one wouldn't ignite. Eat in town. There is no dedicated workspace. A table, chair, outlet and wifi do not mean dedicated workspace. That needs to have a neutral background and free of noise and distractions. The only area is the main living area which is shared with whomever you are with and will be subject to their noise. I am a digital nomad so this matters to me. If you are just vacationing then no biggie. Otherwise the place is very serene unique and generally comfortable, we enjoyed our stay. 5 stars

Fantastic place to stay for a weekend in Stanthorpe. Brent was fantastic as a host. House was beautifully clean and well stocked with everything you needed. Beautiful location!!

Lovely and very friendly host .. the decorations and collection were awesome.. love taking lots of photos from home to breakfast and have a great English breakfast ! It’s beautiful surrounding and one of most unique Airbnb.. I feel so warm that the host take care of making sure we get to our accomodation feeling warm at night!! We stayed for 1 night at Dave and Diane's train carriage accomodation and wish we had time to stay longer. They go above and beyond, providing breakfast items, a train timetable to see the coming trains within view which our son loved, and even some photos of the carriages being built. Check in was very easy and the carriages are located behind the property which gives plenty of privacy. The facilities are very nice and modern and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. Dave kept in contact and was a message or call away if we needed anything and even gave recommendations for food which we took and enjoyed. Thankyou for your hospitality and if we are back through this way we will definitely stay again.

What an incredible property! It far exceeded our expectations and is so much better than the photos depicted. The pool/spa/sauna area was phenomenal. No cost has been spared or small detail overlooked in the construction of this property. It had every amenity, cooking equipment/utensils that you would ever need - we loved all hanging out in the kitchen and cooking together. Super lovely and helpful hosts. We found the property easy to find and get to. This place would be absolutely amazing in the cooler weather. We did find it quite difficult to sleep in the middle of the summer heat, however. Fans in the bedrooms would be a much needed addition - but that’s literally the only thing we could fault, everything else was incredible and we’d love to return!

It was an amazing find and an absolute treat staying at Jenny and David’s place! It was such a nice feeling to wake up to kangaroos and nature. We just couldn’t get enough of it. The place itself was nothing like anything we had experienced previously. The place had a lot of character to it and full marks to Jenny and David for sprucing it up! Jenny and David were wonderful hosts too. They were approachable and always up for a bit of a chat! Overall, we had an extremely relaxed, comfortable, calm and peaceful stay and would go back to carriage T4388 any given day!
