This was our second time to this cottage. We had a great weekend away. Made s’mores at the firepit in yard while it snowed. It’s been cold this year so quite incredible to see the lake frozen. Two of the nights were clear skies and this spot offers some of the most majestic sunsets. Came inside and sat by the fireplace with hot drinks. Perfect kitchen with everything you need. Super refreshing atmosphere and left feeling rejuvenated.

This beautiful cottage is a gem! Everything we needed to feel comfortable. Even bathrobes! Cleanliness is very important to our family and Cassandra and Jeremys place is impeccable. Gorgeous surrounding. Don't miss staying here!

We spent a getaway weekend as a group of moms with their kids and it was the perfect spot. Easy enough to child proof, the furniture was very comfortable, and the house was spotless. The outside amenities and forested area were fun and well-maintained. The host was the most proactive, communicative, and helpful that I’ve had. Fantastic stay, and would absolutely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful setting. Could hear the creek with the windows open. Great food 10 minutes or less away. Small store close buy so we could cook in the kitchen which had the pots and pans needed. Everything was clean and ready when we got there including extra linens.

We were beyond impressed with the host and cottage! It is a private space just close enough to Niagara Falls!

Danny and Travis’ place was perfect! Exceptionally clean. So many thoughtful touches throughout that really made this place feel like home. The way the yard and deck are situated on the lot make for a perfectly private and peaceful experience. Great location, far out enough to feel secluded and close enough to phenomenal food and drink (15-20 min drive) where you’re never really out of the way. Loved our stay. Will be back next year 👌🏼

Perfect place for a quiet getaway or a local staycation. Beds are super comfy. Highly recommend.

Very quaint place. Definitely looks like the pictures. Quite warm and cozy with all that you would need for a few days getaway in a cabin. Definitely would recommend!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Even with snow and ice on the ground it was perfect for my family and our dog. Our dog was the main reason we chose this place- the fenced in backyard and close proximity to the Rail Trail (3 houses down!!!) CANNOT be beat. Wonderful and quiet neighborhood but so close by to everything- especially the Minnewaska State Park. The house was perfect- so cozy and modern throughout with the kitchen surprising us with the abundance of cookware and appliances provided! Cannot wait to come again when it is a little warmer and get to enjoy the beautiful porch and backyard. We absolutely will be back!!

Jennifer's place was adorable, so many nice personal touches on the place. Exactly as described and the fish tank was a nice touch, very relaxing. Would highly recommend and will stay again next time im in town. Thank you for everything.

Brian and Melissa's cottage was perfect place to spend for a Valentine's Day weekend! The cottage was so cute and cozy and we loved the gas fireplace as it was a cold weekend. I would highly recommend their cottage for anytime of the year! They were very responsive, provided great amenities and the check-in was easy. Great hosts!

This was the perfect cozy retreat. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Debra’s Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a beautifully decorated space that felt like a home away from home. The cozy atmosphere was immediately inviting. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the dining area provided a lovely spot to enjoy them. Debbie and Mike were absolutely fabulous host! I can’t wait to go back again. This will be a frequent trip we take!

This was our second time staying, and we will definitely be back. Brian is a wonderful, responsive host. He was very helpful with shoveling when we got stuck in a snow bank due to an unexpected storm. He was kind enough to gift us a bottle of wine, for all the struggles of our weekend. There were some snacks, and bottles of water for us to enjoy.

We had a perfect long weekend at Steven's cottage. It is bigger than it looks in the photos and was immaculately clean when we arrived. Steven was extremely responsive to all our questions and needs. The place is incredibly peaceful, a 2 min walk from the lake, on a private road where Steven owns all three houses. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating to spend time at this oasis with my partner and our best friends. There's a lot to love, but the best part is that the house comes with a private deck and dock, and unlimited access to various boats, to make your lake weekend whatever you want it to be. We loved that we could take our dogs to play fetch off the dock and not worry about getting in anyone's way or having to share any space. It was a great stay and we hope to go back!

Booked the red cabin for a long weekend on Lake Ontario. We had great access to the lake and were able to come back to a hot shower, full kitchen, and even had time to build a fire. All you need in one convenient cabin. Beware that the dock/ramp was very shallow. I have a bass boat and was able to get into it but might be more difficult in a larger vessel. Good news is that the cabins have an external outlet to plug in the boat batteries. Connie was great at keeping us updated and gave clear instructions for check in-check out. Highly recommend! (Especially for Anglers)

Scott from the jump was quick to respond and thorough. The cottage was incredibly cozy, clean, and they were so generous with what they provided. The creek behind the house is beautiful and was a favorite place to sip my morning coffee before heading into town or off on the days adventure. We’ll be coming back I’m sure! Thank you Scott!

What a perfect weekend getaway a stone's throw from NYC! We stayed in the two-bedroom bungalow which was spotless and cozy and beautifully designed. The whole property is really lovely with various nooks to hang out in and fire pits to keep you warm outdoors. I particularly loved swimming in the hot pool in the middle of a surreal, snowy landscape with only the sound of nature around me. This was such a peaceful stay and I would not hesitate to come back. I'd also highly recommend the Seminary Hill Orchard & Cidery as a nearby activity/lunch spot not to be missed - it was a standout experience in every way and they even have snowshoes you can rent to traipse around the property before recovering at Rest Co : )

Really enjoyed my stay and overall experience at The Base Cottage. Access / check-in was a breeze, signs for the property and where to park were clear (which was really appreciated given a late evening arrival) and the accomodations matched the description perfectly (a very charming place!). Just minutes away from the local attractions and great access to hiking spots in Southern High Peaks and elsewhere. Fully recommend.

We were so excited to spend a peaceful weekend in the Adirondacks, and this is the perfect place! The living area was warm and cozy, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was clean and updated. The seating was comfortable and the smart TV was a good size for the space. The beds were also comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful in the snow, which was plowed regularly during a two-day snow storm. We were just a few minutes drive from town, which always has lots to do. The grocery store is well-stocked and there are lots of fun shops. The host was very clear with instructions in the listing, and very accommodating while we were there. She even sent someone to make sure that we could all make it up the driveway in the snow storm (which was no problem at all for us with AWD). We wanted to go back to the cabin as soon as we got home, since we already missed the peace, quiet, and beauty. We will certainly go back again. Thank you for having us!

We loved this place so much! We were there for a snow storm and it was cozy and comfortable. We were plowed out four times in our three days, which was so nice to not worry about. The scenery is so beautiful and having snowshoeing right out the back door was perfect! The space is just as advertised. The kitchen is well-appointed, the library is great, and we watched several blue ray movies too. All in all, made for an awesome winter long weekend getaway!
