Helen’s home is truly a hidden gem. We needed somewhere to stay close to Arthur’s Pass, and we are so lucky to have found this place. Our bedroom (and basically any other living area in her home) had an absolutely gorgeous view of the valley and the mountains. While we were there, another couple also was staying at Helen’s home in another bedroom. We all had dinner together that night and shared lots of fun stories. Helen was a great cook! She also made us a delicious breakfast the following morning and was kind enough to work around our early-morning schedule. Helen was not only amazing host, but also a very kind and gracious person. We felt so welcomed into her home almost immediately. I really loved talking to her about her outdoor adventures. She was extremely helpful and gave us suggestions on things to check out at Arthur’s Pass. Thank you so much, Helen, for your amazing hospitality! I wholeheartedly recommend Helen’s place!

Chris's place is located in a beautiful setting overlooking the coast, as far as the eye can see. The place was comfortable, clean and we had the best time ever.

We loved our stay at Eric’s. It is a perfect base for exploring Abel Tasman which we did. Sharing the kitchen worked well and we met people from all over the world. It is always lovely to chat to people who also love travelling. There was plenty of space to sit outside and the gardens were beautiful. It did look slightly different to the photos as they were obviously taken a few years ago and lots of the bushes etc have now grown quite a bit but I was still able to recognise it from the photos. Breakfast is plentiful with eggs from Barb’s chickens and lots of options of bread, pastries and cereals. The bed was massive and the shower super powerful! We would definitely recommend and will visit again if we manage to return to NZ!

The room was just what we needed for a one night stay outside the National Park. The bathrooms are shared but there was a sink in our room. There was also a shared kitchen and living area. It’s a beautiful area with easy assess to the trails!

Gorgeous accommodation with a stunning outlook! Nuala was quick to respond and even came out to say Hi when she saw us. Loved the extra little touch on the chalk board outside :D The Villa itself was very clean, tidy and felt private, bonus is that it's close to the beach where we got to watch an amazing sunset on our first night, and there's a lovely coastal walk just down the drive all the way into town. 100% recommend and we'd definitely love to stay again!

We had a great time there. Ben makes Gin and we had a great tasting as part of the stay. Great experience.

The hostel provides everything you need for a great stay in Christchurch and the staff is great. Anthony, thanks again for being our lifesaver!

Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft, liebevoll gepflegter und gestalteter Garten. Man merkt das es Simon immer wichtig ist das seine Gäste sich wohl fühlen. er hat ein Auge und Gespür was jemand braucht. Einfach toll.

Lori’s place was clean, comfortable and presentable. The view was stunning and the pool/spa was enjoyable! The hosts thought of everything including things we didn’t know we needed. We could play music via Bluetooth, had 101 different cooking options, Netflix, coffee available and some of the most comfortable furniture. 5/5 churs, Would recommend.

Bijzonder smaakvol ingerichte B&B. Het ontbijt was fantastisch, het ontbrak ons aan werkelijk niets. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die ons veel bruikbare tips gaf. Er is een zwembad en een hottub. Helaas andere gasten die zeer lang douchten waardoor het water op was toen we zelf wilden gaan douchen maar meer dan een half uur douchen is extreem lang dus daar valt weinig aan te doen. Wij zouden deze B&B van harte aanbevelen bij andere gasten.

Very nice place, friendly hosts and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable and my children enjoyed the space. I liked that they had SKY and the good channels too ☺️ restaurants and supermarket within walking distance! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! Thank you!!!!

Great location and short walk to restaurants and cafes. Parking was convenient too. Unit was spacious and clean.

Nice, clean little place that makes for a great base of operations for the Marlborough wine region. Friendly hosts with great communication as well.

Stunning setting and wonderful hosts. I can't say enough good things about Cyndy and Ranald. They were friendly, helpful and extraordinary hosts. I would love to have stayed longer!! Thank you for everything and it was lovely meeting you both !!

It was so lovely staying at the hostel ! Staff very friendly especially Anne, the dormitory was also very comfortable with multiple choices of different types of pillows if you have any preference ;) The surroundings were very pretty, although one walk wasn’t available, couldn’t go far unfortunately ( no car so ) however just outside the property you can go to the Black Water Rafting ! ~25min by foot from the Waitomo Glow Worms Caves ! Very very calm, at night you can clearly see the stars 🤗

Thanks Stacey for having us. A wonderful place and Stacey made ua feel at home. Great being able to head north to Hokitika or Sth to the glaciers.

I booked at the last minute and got there late evening. The place was so peaceful and quiet. Clean and tidy and Warm. Would definitely stay there next time I’m in Hanmer.

Wir haben uns bei Jeanette und Arnie sehr wohlgefühlt. Arnie hat uns auf deutsch mit vielen Informationen und Anekdoten über die Umgebung und Neuseeland versorgt und uns die Vorzüge eines Airfryers näher gebracht. die beiden bewohnen ein wunderschönes Haus in einer äußerst ruhigen Wohngegend nahe am Wasser. Vielen Dank für diesen Aufenthalt!

Great location in walking distance to shops. Extremely clean and spacious unit which is part of a Motel complex. No breakfast offered as you would expect with a host B & B situation.

Friendly place that is well run. Staff do a great job keeping the place running smoothly and efficiently. This is a great place to stay to explore Mt cook area

Haka House is a typical hostel, very conveniently located a short walk from the town centre. It had everything we needed pre and post walking the Milford Track. Reception staff were friendly and our double bunk room was fine for our needs. Recommended for budget travellers.

Absolutely loved our time spent at Oakview. Such a stunning location, Golf course across the road , Hanmer Springs hot pools at the end of the street as well as great eating spots, everything was in walking distance. The interior was so luxe and extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back to enjoy this beautiful spot again. Thanks for having us. Kacey & Adam
