Fantastic place to stay. Close to the beaches and Portsmouth. Plenty of places to visit close by. House was beautiful and the host was amazing. We will be back.

We love Ipswich and are so glad to find this gem of Airbnb. Mark's communications are topnotched and he proactively checked in with us to ensure that everything is alright. The house has everything we needed and more....not just for short stays but equally suitable for longer stays too. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The house heating system is very efficient and heats up the whole house quickly and comfortably for the few cold days we were staying there. My husband loved having a dedicated work space which had a beautiful water view. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Everything is very well thought out. It might be an older house but it's very quaint, cosy and quintessentially New England. Although we had several days of lousy weather.... we still managed to do plenty out of the few half days when the skies cleared out. Oh and thank you for the very lovely cranberry banana bread... its one of the best that we've ever eaten.

From the moment we stepped into this wonderful house in Charlestown we felt instantly at home. Every inch of the home is beautiful and the house is on the historic registry. Megan and Victor were amazing hosts, responding immediately to any question we had. We will definitely be staying there again when we travel to Charlestown. (Hopefully it will be available! 🤞)

The minute we walked in we felt at home - the house is beautiful and is in a great location - quiet but close to Portsmouth NH for great shopping and restaurants and close to Kittery outlets. The beds were comfortable and the layout perfect. The back yard was private and peaceful with beautiful gardens. Heidi was a great communicator - warm and welcoming - like a long lost friend. We will plan another trip to Heidi's house - we loved it so much and are thankful Heidi's family is willing to share it as a home away from home for us

Your stay was perfect! So close and walkable to the beach. Our kids had a fabulous vacation and the outdoor shower was used daily! We loved having coffee on the back patio and dinners on the porch. The house is well appointed with everything you need and extra touches to make the beach days easier (beach chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler bags). The neighborhood is quiet and close to grocery stores and a few shops. We loved our stay and hope to come back!

Karen’s home truly is cozy. We were here two weeks before Christmas and it was decorated and beautiful. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well stocked, nice big fluffy towels and I loved the shower! We have stayed in several,places in the Boston area and this is one of the best. Even my dogs loved it!

Great bright modern space for both working and relaxation - within easy reach of essentials. Hosts were very communicative and helpful.

Rhona’s place was in a great location with places nearby and not too far from all of the places we wanted to go. Her home was as described in the pictures and description. For two people it was fairly comfortable, but we weren’t able to get very comfortable in the living room as furniture was too small for us to hang out. There was also no outlet in one of the bedroom, but we were able to find an extension cord that reached the other bedroom. Besides that, the place was great for us to come and go. The owner made our reservation special by providing a gift for my friend’a birthday and breakfast which was very thoughtful!

Corinne is a wonderful host! She has a beautiful place in a wonderful neighborhood which is walkable to the beach. The view is breathtaking and a very relaxing stay!

Qing's place is exactly as described and it served my needs for a one night stay. I had to stay close to Cambridge for a work event so I didn't spend much time at the apartment except to sleep, but it is very clean and private and I was able to park in the driveway. As others have mentioned, you can hear the upstairs neighbors so I recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The bed is also quite firm but I didn't find it uncomfortable. Qing was very responsive to any questions.

Kevin put together an amazing stay for my colleagues and I. I will say it was one of the best homes I’ve stayed in. Kevin is very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at his home.

Our stay at the creaky cauldron was cozy and memorable for all of the right reasons. Hannah and Zazu were attentive but not intrusive hosts. The thing that stands out the most is the loving effort they have put into the decor. Every detail is considered. We felt like we had stepped into another world. The tiny kitchen was stocked with just the right amount of tea and coffee for a dreary weekend in Salem. We were there for the Fiber Witch Festival and the location was perfect for exploring town with a walkable home base. On our first night there was an issue with the smoke alarms. Our hosts promptly called an electrician and took care of it as soon as they could. They salvaged our weekend and we had the best time due to their efforts.

I had my bachelorette weekend at Zahra’s place and we had the most amazing time. The apartment is decorated so beautifully and thoughtfully, and they really add so many details that add to the vibe. On our first night, we wanted to make cookies and the oven started smoking due to grease leftover by previous guests. Zahra was so quick to respond and super understanding despite it causing the fire alarms to go on after quiet hours. They made sure to come check on it the next day to clean and prep the oven for us so we could still cook all weekend. I highly recommend this apartment!! Only thing is they are not kidding when they say the floors are creaky and quiet hours starts at 10pm on the weekend and they have an upstairs rental unit as well so keep that in mind if you’re planning on any celebrations.

Travelled from Ontario, Canada to stay in the area for a few days. Robs place was perfect for us to catch the subway. If you have a car you can take a 6 minute drive and park for $3 for the day over the weekend and catch the subway into the city. Or walk to the commuter train if that works. The area has some great little bars within a 2 minute walk and the 7/11 is right next door to pick up the Charlie Cards for travel. The effort put into the apartment is excellent, even chocolates by the bed, sometimes it’s the little things that make the most impact. If we come down to Boston again we’d definitely stay again.

The house is by the lake in a quiet and comfortable residential area. If you don't have a car, it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach the nearest bus stop to get to downtown. The room is very clean and cozy, and the bed is especially comfortable. The only thing to note is that the curtains don’t block out much light, so a sleep mask would be helpful. The host, Thomas, is super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend :)

Sharon was extremely friendly! She went out of her way to find breakfast pastries for my food allergies! Super sweet! Wonderful space, private room and bathroom. We felt very at home and loved the neighborhood. Lovely drive to nearby areas like Newburyport and Salem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home.

The location was very convenient, easy to find, and walkable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Connie was a great host: she is so nice, was very responsive to inquiries, is a great conversationalist, and gave great local restaurant/cafe suggestions. Would 100% recommend this AirBnB to anyone looking to stay in the Cambridge/Harvard area.

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

Peter and his wife were amazing. They could not have done more to make our stay so very nice. It is an older home tastefully renovated and so very welcoming. The only thing that I feel compelled to say, is that the owners live on the second floor and they use the same staircase as you and may stop to chat. We loved it but that may not be for everyone.

This was truly a unique and memorable place to stay. Melissa was wonderful in accommodating our late check in due to our flight. It was walkable to restaurants and we were given a voucher for a free breakfast. If you want something out of the ordinary, I couldn’t recommend enough.

Chambre spacieuse avec salle de bains privée sous le toit de la maison. Pas de cuisine mais un micro onde, un petit réfrigérateur, machine à café filtre et bouilloire. Chambre cosy bien chauffée et confortable. A 10/15 minutes à pieds de l’université de Harvard d’où on peut prendre le métro pour le centre ville de Boston. Quartier résidentiel sûr et paisible. Une excellente adresse.
