Julie is a wonderful host very easy to communicate with. We feel in love with Port Stephen’s and could imagine living there one day. Thank you Julie for the Christmas touches the kids very much enjoyed the lights. We hope to be back one day soon.

The cottage was cozy and calm. Great amenities and comfortable furnishings. The location is wonderful with a playground right next door, coffee shop across the street and grocery store around the corner we had everything we needed. Donna was wonderful to communicate with.

Home had everything we needed. The little touches of condiments and books/toys for the kids was a lovely touch. Instructions were easy to follow and made check in easy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and charming property! Check in was simple and we were greeted with two bottles from the hosts winery. The home was clean, tidy, homely and inviting for our large family and our kids found plenty of things to do both inside and outside the house. There were board games and toys, and they loved the outdoor play area. The bedrooms were well presented and comfortable to sleep in. The host was friendly and helped us with all of our enquires. Internet is as-expected in the area at ~12mbps, but you don’t take a country escape to spend your time online! We had a five star visit which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Hunter.

We had a beautiful stay at Nicolas’s property. He has thought of everything to ensure your stay is comfortable. Loved the outdoor area and pool. The beds and couch were really comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely and modern. The location is peaceful and a short walk to the lake and local amenities. The host is super friendly, responsive and accomodating. I highly recommend this property! And hope to return one day 😊

A lovely exceptionally clean home in a quiet area. 5 minutes to Charles town shopping centre and 7 minutes to the beach. Lovely soft beds and a fantastic bathroom and shower. Kitchen had all amenities you could ask for, even though we ate out mostly! Would most certainty stay again, hopefully for longer next time!

This cottage was very comfortable and such a lovely place to stay. It’s close to everything and easy to access. The cottage is still kept in a lovely condition without being too modern, very old world charm. We loved it and had a more comfortable stay in Cessnock.

Perfect spot so close to the beach, cafes and busy Darby street without being noisy. Apartment was very clean and comfy. Much more spacious than the place seems in the photos but still had a homely feel. We were very happy here and would stay again!

We had a great stay at Caves Beach - the apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed for our brief stay. There was plenty of space for 3 couples, and despite some average weather, we enjoyed using the balcony which had some awesome views. It was in walking distance to the beach, and we were so appreciative of Donna for accommodating our additional request needs! Thank you! The only suggestions I can make for future guests stays would be cleanliness - There was sand in the main bathroom, and the sofa had quite a few stains, as well as the carpets. I know these things happen over time with airbnb's, so it didnt affect our stay, but would suggest a deep clean!

Great place, the apartment was cosy and clean and had everything you need, including iron and hair dryer. Peter is quick to reply and easy to deal with. For those who are getting here on foot, please keep in mind it is the Hill, so a steep walk and can be a bit hard when you are loaded with backpacks and bags. Other than that, cannot fault the place. Would recommend.

This gorgeous 2 bedroom unit right on the beach was exactly what we were after for our long weekend away. Easy access to the beach down the stairs, keyless entry to the unit, a carspace, very clean - lots of extra towels etc and well equiped unit with lots of kitchen and bathroom extras. Walking distance to cafe’s and restaurants. View from the balcony was gorgeous and private.

Great place! Amazing location right on the beach. You get an unforgettable view of the sun as it rises in the morning over the ocean.

We had an amazing stay at Steve's place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to all the local attractions. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome chocolate and local recommendations. The communication with Steve was excellent from start to finish. He was responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and we would love to stay here again!

The apartment as in a great location, close to lots of restaurants and cafes and the local esplanade. It was really well appointed and super cozy. For a one bedroom apartment it didn’t feel cramped at all.

Fantastic location . Loved sitting on the balcony with a cuppa and enjoying the view . It is a very quiet and peaceful unit and area. Unit was very clean . The beds and linen were of very high quality and comfortable . Kira responded very quickly to any messages or questions .

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.

This was a great find! Came up to the hunter for a friend's engagement and decided to make a weekend of it. this was a great base for getting out and about and was so close to everything. I enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning admiring the view and wildlife. great apartment layout and all it was really well set up. we didnt use much, but could see the kitchen was well set up for those who would want to cook food etc. lovely toiletries, and everything as described with super clear instructions, and tips for local activities and food spots I would love to come back and spend more time here. thankyou for a lovely stay

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.
