My friend and I had a lovely stay with close parking and nice and quiet from outside noise. We both felt very much at home. Thank you very much.

James and Mark were perfect hosts, always responsive to questions but not intrusive during our stay. The place is immaculate, very clean and comfortable and amazingly quiet for an apartment, the whole area is. Private parking which is a godsend as the visitor spaces are always taken and easy to check in, if staying in the area again I wouldn't stay anywhere else if it was available

We had a wonderful stay at Louis's place in Tynemouth. It is a large bright surf-themed flat in a fabulous location with sea views from both sides of the house. There are lots of stairs up to the top floor so not suitable for the infirm, but gives great views from the big windows overlooking the village green and beach - and could not hear any of the neighbours. The bedding and bathrooms were sparkly clean. Tynemouth is a beautiful village with a great surf beach - with lots of lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance. At the beach you can find yoga and pilates classes, cold water swimming, running clubs and surfing. Would highly recommended this for a short break or long holiday - plenty to do and see.

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

Great stay and location. Hot tub was ideal to come back too after a very busy day out. Place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Vending machine was handy for snacks. Easy parking to rear of the property and plenty of shops and takeaways nearby

The flat was warm and cosy on arrival and remained so despite the January weather. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. The front windows caught the winter sun all day, with great views over the Tyne. It was comfortable, relaxing and quiet, just what was needed. The location is excellent for all the village amenities and for the metro station, perfect for trips out to the wider Tyneside area with its wide variety of interesting places. The acid test is whether we'd go again - the answer is a resounding yes.

This is a beautiful practical apartment so close to shops and restaurants but tucked away in a quiet street. A perfect base for visiting Newcastle; we will definitely be back whilst my daughter is studying in the city for the next 3 years.

We’ve probably stayed in more than 10 airbnbs across England in the last 6 months and Martin’s was by far the best. It was clean, quiet, had a well-stocked kitchen, and was in a perfect area to enjoy walks to the city center, buses to the coast, and lots of fun in between. We especially loved having a clean washing machine and dryer, a comfy sofa, and the desk/workspace. Martin was so kind and even saved us when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Thanks, Martin!

Really enjoyed our stay with Julie and Jamie. It was easy to find No. 15 and easy to park very close by. Jamie greeted us and showed us up to our apartment, which was clean and warm. He offered to help us with our luggage. They had made it feel very homely from the decor and soft furnishings, to the truly excellent human and dog welcome baskets. The immediate location is excellent, full of restaurants, cafes and pubs within 5 minutes walk. In the welcome folder is a list of recommendations on where to go with a note of whether they are dog friendly or not. Really helpful. The beach is literally at the bottom of the street and my dog loved maurauding around after the ball, Julie had kindly popped in the dog welcome box. It's about a 10 minute walk to Spanish City, along the beach/promenade or to the main street, which has some nice independent shops and an excellent craft beer tap room/bottle shop, Nord.

Excellent little flat on a quiet road with plenty of parking

Great place to stay - lovely accommodation, handy for the metro and shops. We’ve been here a few times now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we were coming up to Newcastle for a few days

This was a very comfortable stay of 11 days for us. The apartment is spacious. clean, and feels very comfortable right from the outset. It has a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities and appliances you will need for either a short or long stay. We did a lot of cooking ourselves, but there is also a very nice pub a short walk away. Also the bus takes you straight into the center of Durham from the pub. The area around is pleasant but there isn't much to do except walk and enjoy the countryside, which is very pleasant. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were new (although too soft for us, but thats just personal preference). Overall it was a great stay and well worth the price. The owner was helpful and communicated well, the wifi was good, and the couches comfortable. We would both return and recommend the apartment.

Lovely apartment, quiet, so cozy and had everything you need for a short stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable. So close to the Metro with links to Newcastle City Centre and on to the airport. So handy, no need for a car. Welcome pack was a lovely touch😊

I visited Newcastle and surroundings, travelling by myself from mainland Europe. The apartment is clean and spacious and I loved that it's minimal yet cosy and light. If you're a bit more sensitive: the bedroom is situated on the side of a busier road. If you keep the bedroom window closed, there's no noise. I opened the window at night and used ear plugs - worked fine. At 5 minutes walking distance from metro and small shops. A 20 minute walk to a wonderful beach. Tomara was very friendly ad prompt in her communication and thinks along if you have a question. Recommend staying there!

We stayed overnight at Jen's on our way up to Moray and had a fab time. Clean, spacious, cosy. Next time we plan to stay longer and enjoy how peaceful the house and location are. Jen was really helpful and friendly.

Great place for a weekend stay. Close to the station, easy check in. Couple of lovely pubs near by and easy walk to shops / bars / restaurants etc in city centre. Nice flat with everything you need. thanks!

This apartment was ideal for the railway station and city centre. Access was straightforward but maybe add the building name to the address as the entrance is round the back of the property. Plenty of restaurants nearby and great for visiting the Utilita arena. Would recommend and would use this property again.
