Had a great stay here for the weekend. Used the hot tub loads, was so relaxing and didn’t feel over looked. Kitchen was a good space to prep our own food and relax as a group in the living room. Lots of space for 8 girls to get ready, lots of mirrors 😂 There was lots of info supplied so didnt need to contact the host while we were there. Same with the cleanliness, everything was tidy and clean and we could settle right into our trip.

This is a hidden gem! The house is bigger than the photos show it to be, so was a great surprise! It’s full of quirky touches and feels very high spec. The kitchen is huge and has 4 ovens so is great for hosting. We loved the blackboard and the kids played hangman for ages! All the rooms are a great size and the decoration is so unique. Just opposite the house is a nature reserve so is fab for a walk and very dig friendly. Can’t recommend enough!

Clear, easy instructions on how to get in. Clean and open plan on entering the property. Everything as described. loved the hot tub and the addition of the hot tap to fill was a massive plus. Clear instructions on how to use. Didn't use the massage chair or the sauna as only stayed one night but both looked good. Lovely clean bedding and towels that were good quality. Easy to order in food. Definitely a pleasant stay.

Great location, around the corner from the Metro. Exceeded expectation as haven't used air BnB before. Hosts were helpful. A lovely place, highly recomend!

We were a group of two familes with children and dogs and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious and comfortable. The pool table and hot tub were an added bonus. The house provided a great base for us to explore the North East coast.

Such a beautiful weekend away for my mum's 70th birthday! The house is beautiful with so much space and everything you could need! Lots of places to walk from the door step. This house is definitely worth a visit.

Lovely stay, we had fantastic time at Hayloft, place was immaculate clean and very well equipped, hot tub was a bonus, we felt very welcomed. If you are looking for nice views, privacy and relax that’s place! Thank You for having us!!!❤️❤️❤️

Great place, spotlessly clean, great location a few minutes walk to the beach. Ideal for exploring all of the nearby beaches and towns. Appreciated the little extra's - Jam, eggs and bread! Would love to return.

Fantastic host! We stayed a month and had everything we needed. Appreciated having a washer and dryer! The home was very quiet. Perfectly located near the old town, university and cathedral. Steeped in history. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting Durham!

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

The host was very responsive with any message me had. The place was absolutely gorgeous, we didn’t want to leave. It was only a 5 min walk to the beach and it being dog friendly it meant our dog had his first beach trip which was all thanks to this home allowing our boy to join us so we can’t thank you enough for that. The little added extras went down a treat and the home itself was immaculate you can’t tell at all that this place is dog friendly there was no hair or smell of animals at all all you could smell was fresh clean washing. We would love to come back and stay here it was the perfect break away that we needed.

We had a lovely stay at Dionne's place, it was so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. Inside is cosy and very comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay.

Fantastic stay. Jane is a lovely host who made sure our stay was special. I cannot recommend enough, the pod was amazing, everything you could possible need is there, very clean, the surroundings are so peaceful. Absolutely perfect for a getaway. Will definitely be back thank you so much 😊

We had a wonderful time at Tranwell Campsite and loved our stay in Ash lodge for our first family holiday. We also really appreciated how dog friendly it was as owners of a golden retriever! The lodge was lovely and had everything we needed including a wood fired stove which was fun to use and a hot tub. Sarah was brilliant, friendly and communicated quickly. The local suggestions were really helpful and we loved the on site nature walkand dog walking field. We would definitely come back

everything was super easy. This is our first experience with air b&b and it couldn't have gone better. Sarah was easy to respond and proactive to 1 or 2 very minor issues we had (tv remote -no big deal). The cabin was so nice! we were greeted with some northumberland treats which was a great touch! the cabin was clean and dog friendly with an enclosed garden area. We did clean up a bit before we left because we've a shedding dog! and didn't want to leave it. The hot tub was stunning, it was a short time in the tub for us, but the time we spent looking at the stars through the trees, in the dark and privacy was magical! just the relaxing time we needed for our 15th anniversary together. I think at 1 point we were the only people in the whole site, but it never felt at all uneasy, just peaceful. It's quite close to Morpeth, though you'd never guess. We seen lots of wildlife including deer, pheasants and squirrel, and ofcourse, lots of birds. We had a wonderful time.

What can I say about staying in Ash lodge?! Our hosts Allison and Jonathan were wonderful. Provided us with all the information we would need and were quick to respond when we needed them! Friendly, welcoming and all round lovely hosts! To top it off, as we left, Jonathan helped us get our car out of the snow and gave us a tow up to the car park - not all hero’s wear capes! We practically lived in the hot tub in the evenings. The instructions in the handbook are easy to follow. The tub was fun to get going and even more fun to enjoy! Now how about that cheese? It was phenomenal! I recommend getting the cheese board add on when you come. Also the breakfast pack is amazing! The lodge was clean, tidy, uncluttered, and had the most wonderful warm homely feel. The amenities were everything we needed for the weekend. Highlight of our stay would have to be the moment my partner proposed to me IN the hot tub! It has been the most MAGICAL experience. We even got to see shooting stars!

It was a lovely and quiet place, Gillian & co made us feel very comfortable and had lots of recommendations! 10/10 would see Rupert again! Thanks for having us!

It was a perfect weekend away, the fox’s den lived up to everything Louise said and more. The accommodation was fantastic felt just like home and we will be coming back as soon as possible !!!

A really enjoyable couple of days away in a beautiful glamping pod. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The welcome basket was a lovely touch
