Andrew’s place and Francois is an absolute treasure of this world. The views from Andrew’s Airbnb are phenomenal and close the many walking trails. Andrew was very responsive and helpful with all that I had to know about Francois and there were no ‘stupid questions’ as he answered them all mine thoroughly. Francois is a must on everyone’s bucket list, the views are some that you can only dream of. The walking trails are meticulously maintained and crafted. Also, the citizens of Francois are ‘real Canadians’ kind, caring, compassionate and respectful. Andrew’s grandparents even went to far as to make me a bowl of soup for me first night and some Christmas squares. Thanks again for that 😇. All in all I highly recommend everyone visit Francois for minimum 1 day 2 nights in their life, and encourage you to choose Andrew’s Place as your accommodation. Francois Newfoundland surely is heaven on earth.

Our family had a 4 month stay at this Air BnB due to a temporary displacement from our home. Ray was very accommodating. The house was comfortable and quickly became our temporary home. It has such a beautiful view to wake up to every morning! Would recommend staying here!

If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this place is it! Spent every morning drinking coffee by the water, enjoying the spectacular view. Cindy was extremely accommodating, informative and a fantastic host. The cottage was clean, cozy and well equipped Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Anne’s was great! We were a group of 6 people spanning 3 generations, ages 3 to 68, and this place met all our needs. Our kids loved the birds and chipmunks. My husband and I loved the access to the water and kayaks. My parents loved the view and hot tub. We were able to have family dinners and bbqs without any trouble. The surrounding nature was beautiful and was only a short drive to St. John’s or other historic towns (like Harbour Grace). Anne was very communicative and checked in proactively to make sure everything was alright. We are already planning our next stay. This remote cottage was perfect for us who were looking tor time to relax and connect, however the access to internet was handy for quick work check ins and a cosy evening watching a movie by the fire. Recommendations for any first time visitors to Newfoundland renting a vehicle - make sure to get one that is good for unpaved roads. Highly recommend this place.

Brenda was absolutely great to deal with and the house was beautiful, quaint and beautifully decorated. The only issue I had was that the location said Baie Verte however it was actally in Wild Cove. I asked Brenda about this and it had something to do with google maps. This was not anything that Brenda could control however it should be noted in the ad somewhere.

We had a really wonderful stay at the cabin. Hot tub, log burner and proximity to nature were all fantastic. The games room in the basement was really fun too! Very relaxing break for our family of four!

This spot was great for our family and our children enjoyed the knickknacks the host had on display around their cabin - it made for a good treasure hunt! It had all of the amenities you needed and you can tell the host cares about guest comfort and experience. They were kind enough to leave a few snacks, a bottle of homemade wine, and wood and marshmallows for roasting! We found the home clean and tidy! Great for a little weekend get away!

Our stay at Sean’s place was fantastic. We stay for two nights and everything we needed was in the cabin- hair dryer, lots of towels and facecloths, every utensil required, lots of mugs and options to have coffee pressed, Keurig, or even brewed. Lots of little personal touches- welcome card and snack, toiletries in the bathroom in case needed. Beautiful view, plan to come again in the summer to enjoy the fire pit and swimming. Clear, concise directions and Sean recommended a delicious restaurant in Brigus that we will absolutely try again! Thank you for hosting us for the weekend!

The chalet was beyond our expectations! Very peaceful and a beautiful hidden gem. We needed a place to unwind and relax and not worry about life and what time of day it was and this place has it all! The art work is absolutely stunning!!Beautiful view of Island Pond from the fire pit spot too a gorgeous nite sky from the hot tub!!

What an amazing cabin in the perfect location to enjoy a peaceful vacation away from all the noise. The fall colours were unreal and was the perfect backdrop for the pond view. Chad was an outstanding host. This is a must do if you are looking for a quiet Newfoundland get away. We’ll be back for sure!
