Beautiful home, light and spacious, stunning views, everything you could think you might need and more. Stunning views of the Mournes and across from the beach. We didn’t want to leave, wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Newcastle.

I loved staying at Febbie’s place! I was lucky enough that it was available for me for almost an entire week. The birds singing every morning was a highlight along with Febbie gifting me eggs from her chickens! Febbie’s space has everything you need - even for longer stays. And it’s close to supermarkets and the nearby village of Hillsborough, where there is a lovely forest with walking paths, great restaurants and bakeries. Close enough to Belfast for me while also being equally close to county down. Perfect location for all of Northern Ireland.

Gail and David were fantastic hosts. Always helpful and flexible. The cottage had lots of nice wee touches that made us feel right at home. Conversation was always a pleasure.

Beautiful, well presented property and extremely clean. Host was very kind and left lots of treats which is always welcome! Garden is fully enclosed so safe for your pets. Just be aware it's separate from the house just across the yard, in case they sleep outside. Fantastic experience and will definitely be back.

This is a great location walking distance to the town. House was warm and comfortable and hosts are very responsive

We had a lovely stay at Judenas for the weekend with the family. We had everything provided for us at the house that we could possibly nee, including baby bits, and the beds were so comfortable! Beautiful home with lovely walks all around - the neighbour was also super willing to help with anything we needed.

We absolutely loved staying at Judith's. Our daughter celebrated her fifth birthday and she loved it, she said she would like to have every birthday here. She loves the beach and it is right at the doorstep. The location was beautiful, Judith was very accommodating, neighbours and visitors to the beach were also friendly. We also loved lighting a fire and enjoying our time in when it got dark. We would visit again any time.

This is a cosy, warm and beautifully presented property. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Decent size bathroom. Well stocked kitchen. Generous welcome pack. Good 'top of the town ' location and within walking distance of the town centre. Sea views. Can't think of anything negative about this listing. Go for it before it becomes too much sought after!

Fiona was a fantastic host. The glamping pod was excellent, and the hot tub was brilliant. The kids loved it. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning. I will definitely be staying again, but in the upgraded Boathouse or the Swan.

Beautiful location and the place was immaculate on arrival. The sauna and hot tub were amazing as well as the views. Would definitely stay again!

Beautifully maintained old Portaferry terrace. The view from the front door takes some beating, just walking out the door made you smile. The bedrooms are spacious, with very comfortable mattresses. Good kitchen, back sitting room was a great space to relax and talk after a days walking. Whilst being on the road, the thickness of the walls makes the house silent and peaceful. The property is on the sea front and a short walk to bars, shops and restaurants in the village. A short ride on the ferry takes you into the beautiful village of Strangford and for us a lovely meal in the Artisan Cookhouse (strongly recommend). Michael was a great host, directions and details were spot on. The property was a lovely find and I would thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing get away in a beautiful part of the country.

It’s the perfect place to take a breath and just let yourself relax by the fire. The cottage is so beautifully renovated with tastefully designed and with high quality kitchenware. Though there’s houses around it still feels private and peaceful. Also, watch out for the little rabbits in the garden. Highly recommend

Just amazing! Helped us out of a sticky situation with their beautiful accommodation at the drop of a hat... Literally. Highly recommend this gorgeous apartment, could not fault a thing. Perfect. Will definitely be re booking in the future. Amazing hosts, and so grateful of the their generosity. 😊

Great place with a lovely view and quiet neighbourhood. Kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of welcoming features. Really enjoyed the heated blanket on the bed and the welcome kit. No need to purchase any household products during our month stay. Easy reach of Armagh and surrounding area.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Lynda's place! The studio was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lynda was an amazing host, very communicative and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed and providing great local recommendations. I highly recommend Lynda's place for anyone visiting the area. We will definitely stay again!

Really cosy wee spot. Literally not one issue. Plenty of amenities as well.

A great stay in a very special location, right on the water., at the foot of the mountains. Facilities first class, lots of useful information in the info booklet in advance which proved useful. The Mournes are simply stunning, nearby Newcastle/Dundrum have plenty of good F&B options. We will be back.
