Every aspect of this house either met or exceeded expectations; from the ease of booking, check-in, check-out, amenities, cleanliness, location, views, etc. We’ve stayed many places over the years, but this place was so clean and charming and the host’s amenities were unmatched. There was a fully stocked coffee bar with coffee pods and a small bag of regular coffee with filters, snacks, water bottles for each of us chilled in the refrigerator upon arrival. There were even dog treats for our dog. We were greeted with a welcome note and a large fresh baked local cinnamon roll. Our family absolutely loved this house. Highly recommend staying here!

I loved this cute old home and definitely want to come stay again. This really fit in with the family history tour my grandmother, mother and I were on.

Beautiful private hilltop location! Just a 12 min drive to the goat bluff trail and a 20 min drive to lost valley trail from the house. We enjoyed the hot tup after hiking and grilling out back. Very clean, comfortable amenities. Sheryl is fantastic- super friendly and extremely helpful! We will definitely choose this house to stay at again. You cannot beat a spring weekend at the Buffalo River.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is amazing. We had a group of 10 and none of us wanted to leave. Google maps took us right to the ranch and the property is perfectly maintained and was easy to get around. The Hannah house is a very large house and with 10 people we never felt cramped at all. Would recommend this place to anyone. Well worth it.

Had a great time, the scenery was beautiful and the area was very peaceful. Only trouble we had was finding the right road to turn down to find the driveway - if you follow the hosts instructions exactly you'll be fine!

Lots of accommodations in the area but this one is the best. Everything interesting that brought you to this area is so near. Located in a valley with so much history. The rental was very nice, all clean, well arranged. Needed a better coffee maker but everything needed for days of stay. Will be back to this rental in the Spring and Fall. Kayla had everything covered. No complaints from a couple that loves this area. Lots of Elk and Eagles in the valley. you could here the Buffalo river roaring from the front porch.

Perfect place to get away for the city and unwind. Definately off the beaten path, but all the amenities you would expect in the city. It was perfect for us and our dogs to get away without others around, and plenty of room to roam.

Location was great ,, she was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed.. would definitely go back again and recommend it to others!!

Had a great time in Jasper at the Dogwood Springs Campground! Cabin was great, located in the center of loads of great hiking and climbing spots. Ginger was very helpful and advised on great pet-friendly hiking spots. 10/10 will be back in the future for a climbing trip!

The house was beautiful. Our family really enjoyed the hot tub, pool and corn hole. The house was very close to walking trails and kayaking the Buffalo River. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

This cabin is so beautiful!!! So much room! Our big family had a great time!! We loved the hot tub, the game room, card and dinner tables. Outside was so beautiful! I hope we come back in the summer when the pool is open. We grilled, had big dinners, made s’mores by the camp fire, and played so many games together as a family!! This was exactly what we needed. Some great time together filled with many laughs. Thanks so much for everything!!!

The cabin was homey, comfortable and there were nice touches - like coffee, cups, TV and Fall decorations. It's a beautiful space that my daughter and I enjoy visiting.

This was definitely home away from home! The cabin is in a beautiful private area that really made us feel like we were lost in the woods. We enjoyed the bonfire making smores, and star gazing at night. The cabin itself was just perfect. Very cozy and clean. We went the day after Christmas so we truly loved and appreciated the festive decorations and the Christmas tree. Lots of hiking and beautiful scenic areas. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you Dianne for such a wonderful experience. We will be back again.

This was our second time here, after enjoying it so much last fall! This time, we stayed three nights instead of two and didn't leave a single time. It was always clean, peaceful, and private. Thanks again.

Another year, another great stay at this cabin! The dogs loved getting some fresh air and space to run around.

This place was a super cozy modern cabin. Great host with great communication. Next to the road but surprisingly quiet. would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was nice and remote which was exactly what we were looking for! It was clean and homey, everything you need for cooking and bathroom essentials were there. Not too far from the trails we were planning on hiking. I would definitely stay again!

Sherry was a super helpful, always responsive host. We really enjoyed our stay at her cabin, the beautiful setting, and some very scenic hiking trails in the area. Our girls loved playing in the fenced yard and the kitties that came to visit.

Newly referbished cozy cabin that felt like home. Very, very clean and lots of thoughtfull touches by the owners. If you, yourself, bought a cabin in the woods, you would want it to feel like this one. All of the activities of Newton County and the Buffalo River are just minutes away. Jasper is a delight and urges you to put the phone away and look around and see what the 1940's - 1950's were like. If you are there to float, you can always rent from the big companies, but do yourself a favor and rent from Lost Valley Canoe in Ponca. They operate out of an old general store and are the most friendly, genuine and helpful people around. Here's to another great long weekend in Newton County!
