Fantastic place to stay!! Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We didn’t need to contact Tom and Muireann while we stayed here, everything was as expected. On arrival we were greeted with wine, breads, cheese and cold meats, delicious!! The house was comfortably warm and we had fresh dressing gowns and slippers ready for the outdoor jacuzzi. The place was spotless and we have found a hidden gem that we will be back to frequently over the coming years. Thanks to Tom and Muireann for allowing us to stay at their wonderful house over the weekend and we look forward to going back.

We had a lovely stay with Colette in one of her lodges recently. The place was cosy, warm and felt very homely. Colette came to meet us when we arrived as I had said our little boy was afraid of dogs. She even left us some of her own hens eggs which were delicious for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to going back.

If you're looking for a clean, safe, spacious, remote home with plenty of bathrooms, natural light, beautiful views, a laundry room and hosts who will call your delivery driver to give him directions so you can get your food, this is the place for you. We used this as a home base for day trips all over Western Ireland - Killarney National Park and Kerry Cliffs, Slea Head Drive, The Burren and the Cliffs of Moher, and Blarney Castle. We weren't close to our destinations, but that was part of the adventure - driving narrow country roads, stopping in villages along the way, and enjoying the scenic landscape. Our hosts responded immediately to our questions and provided a binder of useful information. We recommend you take a walk (go left out of the driveway) for some more gorgeous views.

The place was beautiful as we drove in and the inside spacious and beautiful.

Carol is an excellent host, very responsive and friendly. The cottage is stunning, the vintage furniture, the fireplace, the quietness and overall charm is absolutely outstanding. Very good for a quiet and relaxing escape from the city. Will definitely come back!

We didn’t get there until late. We had a hard time finding it in the dark but a local walking his dog told us exactly how to get there. We had a hard time unlocking the front door but the back door was easy to get in. We didn’t get to do much except wash clothes and sleep. Nothing was open near there so I cooked breakfast and left. Didn’t have phone service there so I wasn’t able to contact her about being able to find the location or leaving.

The apartment was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. We were a little concerned about the detailed instructions to get in but once we arrived and followed the instructions it was well explained and easy. It was a bit cold when we arrived as the heating wasn't on correctly but Carola had warned us and explained that we would need to turn the radiators up, which we did but a couple of them did not seem to work. Luckily, the weather had gone from Arctic conditions to above freezing so not such a problem! The TV had been unplugged from the Eir box but we plugged it back in and all was fine. Also, the wifi dropped out one night and hadn't come back on in the morning so had to contact Carola again to get that reset. We cooked meals and found the kitchen well equipped for our culinary needs. The area is lovely and serene and the local village is nice. Aside from the few minor inconveniences, overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Colm’s place. Great location right by the side of Lough Derg. The cabin was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities you could need. Beds were comfortable too. Colm was extremely welcoming and helpful with information about the place and the local area. The local towns of Nenagh and Killaloe are well worth visiting. There’s lots of great forest walks and trails in the surrounding area. Too. A brilliant stay. 100% would recommend.

The pond cabins were absolutely beautiful! Would definitely recommend staying here . Iveta was extremely friendly and helpful and came down to personally welcome us . Milk , sugar , tea etc supplied on arrival for a hot cup of tea after our drive ! Hot tub was easy use and really made the experience. Will definitely visit again !
