The home is in a beautiful setting along Lake Ontario. The views and the peaceful atmosphere are unbelievable. The accommodations and everything the home has to offer go above and beyond. It’s a beautiful house to just relax and take in all the beauty that surrounds it. Though it was just my friend and I, it’s perfect for a family with wonderful activities for children to keep them entertained. And you’re only 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. I would love to go back when I could stay longer…

We were comfy and cozy at this lovely home that everything we could possibly need for our stay. Our only regret is that we did not get much time in the expansive backyard or on the perfect back deck. Erin was extremely welcoming and very helpful — she gave us great tips for local events and things to do. We would absolutely stay here again when we return to Lockport.

The house was great and as pictured. The ceilings were low but it was not an issue for my family. There was plenty of wood for the indoor fireplace and the fire pit outside. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to have a fire outside. The beds were very comfortable. They also put up a Christmas tree for our stay which was above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't beat the view at the Gnome Home! Diane and Lisa were great hosts. Lisa met us at the house to show us around and give us recommendations, plus followed up in writing. This is definitely an older home with all of the quirks that come with older homes, so be prepared for that. However, it fit our needs, had great amenities, and a fantastic view of Lake Ontario. Don't expect direct access to the lake in cold months, but in summer you can launch kayaks and fish by climbing down to the lake. The outdoor deck and front porch were super cute and relaxing. There was lots of sleeping space with comfy beds, though a couple are up steep stairs. It was perfect for our family though, with my son able to wake up looking directly out at the lake and ground floor accommodations for my husband and I. The location was easy to find with good parking. It was close enough to many attractions, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

I'm so impressed with our stay at this beautiful lake house! As someone who's extremely particular about safety when choosing an Airbnb, I was thrilled to find that this house is located in a quiet and secure neighborhood - perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kids had an absolute blast playing and exploring the surroundings. We did encounter a small issue with the garage door breaking when we tried to open it, but our host was exceptionally responsive and willing to help resolve the issue. What really stood out to me was how much this house felt like home. The peaceful atmosphere, the stunning lake views, and the comfortable amenities all combined to create a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable getaway. We can't wait to come back and make more memories.
