Big Drop Surf House is ideally located a short walk to Playa Maderas. Well equipped and comfortable, staying here you will feel part of the Maderas community. Gaby is a very responsive and resourceful host. The local restaurants/beach bars are great, close, and have delicious food.

Corrin e Jacq foram anfitriões excepcionais. Sempre presentes e super diligentes. A casa, por sua vez, é perfeita: excelente localização, equipada com tudo com o que você precisa (e mais um pouco) e extremamente confortável e agradável. Foi uma experiência incrível, que recomendo a todos (especialmente a quem surfa, tendo em vista as duas ondas “world class” localizadas dentro do condomínio).

La casa es preciosa 💖 Carmen estuvo siempre muy atenta y colaborativa, espacios muy amplios. Le daría un plus si la cama del cuarto principal fuera más grande pero esta bien.

Fue maravilloso. Las instalaciones todas muy bien mantenidas y limpias, cuenta con todo lo necesario, cada habitación tiene su propio baño y aire acondicionado, aunque no fue necesario usarlo en la noche porque es muy fresco. La cocina super bien equipada, incluyendo agua para beber y hielo. Una terraza estilo mezzanine que disfrutamos mucho en la noche. El acceso al baño en la laguna espectacular y lo mejor es que hay una piscina perfecta para los chicos, andábamos con nuestras hijas que la disfrutaron por horas cuando ya no querían más estar en la laguna. Especial mención para Luis, el chico nos atendió, super atento y dispuesto a ayudarnos con todo. Fue perfecto, sin lugar a dudas volvería y lo recomiendo.

Nous avons adoré l’appartement, particulièrement la terrasse avec la vue et les couchers de soleil. L’appartement est à 10 minutes à pied de la plage. Heureusement le taxi connaissait l’emplacement. Si vous arrivez par vos propres moyens, assurez-vous vous d’arriver de clarté.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, centrally located, making it easy to explore all the local attractions and restaurants. The highlight was definitely the pool – it was stunning and the perfect spot to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The host and staff were incredibly accommodating, always available to help with any questions or requests. The property felt very secure, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and secure stay!

Freek was an amazing host. He helped us understand the surf breaks, helped tell us where to rent vehicles, and also helped with restaurants. He was great. The staff in the Amahula resort were awesome too! This house is beautiful and the pool makes the trip 10x better. There is amazing privacy inside and outside of this house. With a nice living space inside as well as a great patio and pool outside…and outdoor showers. And right next to it you can go to the bar to hang out! Right out front is the beach. Amazing surf breaks within walking distance. Nothing short of awesome, we hope to be back!

Where do I even begin... I've traveled a lot, stayed in a wide variety of countries and homes, and I think this is among my top 3, if not my absolute favourite. We chose Jon's Villa Urraca for a small group of friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. We wanted something quiet and off the beaten path, with accessible amenities, comfort and simplicity. My group are all seasoned travelers, and it would be my first time to the Tola area in Nicaragua. Having come to Nicaragua for quite a few years, I expected a balance of comfort and challenges, but we found all of the former and none of the latter. Urraca is unique, with 3 separate self contained villas sharing a pool and very private beach, with a great restaurant and bar steps away, a beautiful sunset every night, and all the comforts one could expect. The local staff were amazing, helpful, and just as responsive as Jon throughout our stay. We can't say enough good things about our stay. Thank you Jon and team for an amazing experience!

I stayed as a solo female traveler in my 30s and was nervous to travel alone for the first time but had a really great stay! The beach is even more beautiful in person. Listening to the waves crashing on the rocks in front was my favorite part of my trip. I ended up walking over 5 miles in my day there , because there is so much beach to explore! What a magical place. Manfred was the most responsive and helpful host I’ve stayed with too. Everything exceeded expectations!

A great place for our group of seven. Every room has it's own bathroom and plenty of space to hang out. Loved the pool and the 3rd floor terasse. easy walk to the beach and centre of town. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our visit. The Accommodations were excellent. The view was majestic. We barely left. It had everything we needed

Don Duilio tiene un servicio super bueno, la casa es un sueño y la limpieza merece 5 estrellas , tiene personal que le apoya siempre dispuestos a apoyarte como inquilino. recomendadisima. en la costa de la casa hay muchas pozas a las que acceder. Asi mismo es 100% seguro para niños. Tengo de 4 y 7 años y el segundo piso no fue un problema.

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! It’s a great location just out of town. easy to get a taxi, rent a car or motorcycle. Very responsive host. Ac in bedrooms and living room, which was nice and the pool was well taking care of and great to meet people and relax. A washer is available for a small fee which is a bonus. There is a pickleball court at the condos and there was construction going on but only until 5 pm. Neighbours were all friendly and a lot of long term stays. You do pay for washer use and electricity separately. I would stay again.

Great location, the apartment is exactly what I thought it would be, clean, nice, stylish, organized. Benjamin is very responsive and friendly! Can’t complain! I come often to SJDS and definitely will be back at this place! I recommend it 1000%

We had an amazing stay! The place was stunning, with breathtaking views and a fantastic pool. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us organize everything we needed. The place was spotless and well-maintained. Highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway!

We stayed at Paul’s place for three nights and absolutely loved it! The apartment is very beautiful, clean and comfortable. It has good pressure hot water showers, a well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful views from the balconies. The shared pool is a big plus. We will definitely stay here again!

Jessica’s place is a perfect location if you’re staying in San Juan Del Sur. Everything is within walking distance and you really only need a means of transportation if you’re going to one of the other beaches. Great communicator but we didn’t have to reach out for much, everything was pretty straight forward. Would gladly stay again next time we’re in town!

Primero me gustaría mencionar que Juan Pablo y Uri fueron geniales de inicio a fin, hubo un pequeño percance al inicio de la estadía pero lo resolvieron sumamente rápido, con excelente actitud y nos retribuyeron con creces el pequeño inconveniente. Estamos especialmente agradecidos con Uri por su rápida y excelente atención. Les deseamos el mejor de los éxitos para el 2025 en el cual seguramente regresaremos! Les recomiendo muchísimo hospedarse acá!
