Highly recommend this beautiful house on a very secluded beach. As a family with young kids the tide pools were lots of fun to explore and also enjoy a dip in the largest pool. There are soft sandy beaches just either side which are great for surfing or jumping waves. The house is well equipped with everything needed for a longer stay and Brittany was a great host making sure we had every we needed. We hope to visit again someday!

Jim’s place was beautiful, clean and private ! Great getaway ! Jim was very responsive and very attentive! 100 percent recommended.

Very walkable to anywhere in SJDS. Brand new stainless steel range and fridge in the kitchen a big plus, along with ice cold AC and smart TV with all the apps loaded.

We booked Randy’s house very last minute. He was quick to respond and what a treat it was to stay there. We have never stayed so close to the sea! The house is literally on the beach. You can flop out of bed, into the pool and on to the beach. Jacob (caretaker) and his wife are on site. They can give you tips about things but don’t interfere. I would really recommend transport here. We didn’t have any and things are pretty spread out. We ended up hiring motor bikes and putting out kids on the back. Best to get supplies from Chinendega to cook but can buy fresh fish. Didn’t want to leave. Perfect place to just stop

Lovely accomodation right at the beach. We loved our stay and highly valued the peace, nature, and cleanliness. Great facilities (free drinking water, plenty of sunbeds, all you wanna have in a kitchen etc.). Great host! Thank you so much!

Lesbia was wonderful to communicate with. Her gardens are lovely to walk around. We had local organic fruits and coffee served by Lesbia. The spot is idyllic in so many ways. The space of the cabin was large, patio to enjoy the evening reading in the hammocks, seating near the water for cocktails and sunset, kayaking and swimming. Dogs and horses came to to visit too. We will definitely return.

Amazing place to stay in SJDS. Lots of space, beautiful views, comfortable bed, very clean and fantastic pool. We loved it there. The walk is a bit steep for the first 100 m but doable unless you are very old or have bad knees. It’s a pretty quick walk to town so we walked it everyday. If you are getting groceries that are heavy, get a taxi back up the hill for $10. Also, don,t rely on Google maps to get you there as it leads you in the wrong direction. Use Karin’s recommendation with Hotel Victoriano as your reference point. You’ll go over gravel roads for a bit but don’t worry, you are on the right path. If you are there on a weekend you will be glad to be up the hill and a bit away from town as it gets loud with parties in town. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy the town.

Lacie was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. She is a wonderful host and communicated great! She is available for any questions and the area is just beautiful and the all the people are very very friendly. Her place is gorgeous and better than you’ll expect. One of my most favorite places I’ve ever stayed. 10/10!!

Great place to be near beach and hang by pool. the hotel restaurant is great food and customer service. would recommend bringing some items for breakfast and light dinner to have in fridge. keep in mind distance to hotel restaurant and other restaurants. we rented golf carts, though they are mostly 2 seaters. this is an active construction area, like the house next to us was being constructed while we were there. noise wasn't too bad but no quiet.

celebré mi cumpleaños en este lugar. Desde el minuto 1 que entramos, supimos que era más de lo que esperabamos. Las fotos publicitarias no le hacen justicia a cuan acogido te hace sentir está casa, te recibe Mariela y su esposo, muy amable ambos, luego te recibe el viento en ese espacio abierto de la sala y una vista maravillosa del oleaje del mar. Disfrutamos de la casa, de la playa y de la piscina (que es mas grande de lo que se ve en fotos). Un lugar recomendado al 100 y al cual espero volver.

Beautiful location and view! Dominic was very friendly and gave us so many good recommendations. The place was very cute and clean and had everything we needed to have a comfortable and fun stay! We definitely recommend to anyone who wants to surf Santana’s to stay here because it’s about a 10 minute walk and so fun! We appreciated the awesome hospitality and look forward to returning in years to come.

Very economical! Loved the quiet location. Helen was fabulous! She made us a delicious breakfast every morning, called us a taxi when we needed it, rented us a scooter and let us use boogie boards! We cherished drinking coffee on the veranda listening to and watching the waves.

Martin’s spot was right on the beach and had everything we needed for a week stay. The AC was functional. The kitchenette was small and had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. The location was pretty mint as it was a short walk to Santana, B-Bay or Popoyo also walking distance to the great restaurants in the area. I recommend staying here.

We had a great time staying at Leandro’s home for three nights. He offered many local suggestions of things to do and was always responsive. The ocean view is amazing and the kitchen is very well stocked (spices, sauces, appliances). The decor is very cool with a surfer vibe. We had great family dinners with local seafood from down the street. A rental vehicle would be ideal for this location. The TVs and fans upstairs didn’t work but I’m sure the host will resolve this. AC in the bedroom was a must and kept us cool overnight - we slept comfortably. The ocean view is breathtaking from the bedroom or downstairs, ocean front at its best! Overall a great vacation home ideal for children and families (lots of children’s books, puzzles, games) or a couple wanting some rest and relaxation. Leandro also set up an extra bed for our son which was greatly appreciated!

Wir haben 3 wundervolle Tage bei Frederico und Birte verbracht. Die Unterkunft hat alle unserer Erwartungen übertroffen. Direkt am See, absolute Ruhe und einfach etwas Zeit zum entspannen. Die Beiden sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und kümmern sich bestens um einen. Die Casita war bestens ausgestattet und wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Egal ob beim gemeinsamen Barbecue, Check In oder Check. Die Kommunikation war top!

Mi familia y yo pasamos la pasamos increíble, la vista hermosa, la casa súper cómoda, nos sentimos como en casa. Un lugar ideal para desconectarse y descansar. Marlon muy amable y cortéz, definitivamente volveremos.

Had the most wonderful time at Jean and Coco’s beautiful Airbnb! It’s a luxurious stay that still maintains the vibe of this beautiful country. The property manager on site helped us with everything we needed and answered any questions we had. You’re so close to the beach which felt like a private oasis! If you’re thinking of staying in the area you should definitely book this Airbnb!!

Guasacate/Popoyo Are spectacular destinations. The beaches are amazing - surfing - swimming. Sunsets are stunning. Overall, a great place to be. Casa Margarita has everything you need and more. We were a family of 7 and were super comfortable, a beach front paradise, with everything that is needed. Yader and Alma were super helpful with everything we needed. Alma cooked for us One night and was the perfect evening of true Nicaraguan flavors. Donna was communicative throughout our stay and had amazing suggestions. 🙌❤️ Overall very happy Thank you
