We loved our week stay in Playa Hermosa. The view is amazing and the house was the perfect size for us. We loved the gym, deck and pool. Ian was super helpful with scheduling activities. The best part of our stay was definitely having Rebecca come every morning and make us the best breakfasts ever! She is a superstar and even helped us with our Spanish. We will definitely return and would highly recommend visiting!

I cannot express how grateful I am for Ricardo and for letting us stay at his beautiful home. The house exceeded all of my expectations—spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. Ricardo went above and beyond to accommodate us, even helping to arrange a shuttle service for all 14 of our guests. His hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

The casita and opportunities available at Hotel el Silencio del Campo exceeded expectations. Delicious breakfast options at the on-site restaurant were included with the stay and daily housekeeping kept our space looking great. The hot springs were amazing and the regular cleaning was appreciated. Accommodations were comfortable. Staff was always friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was spacious, clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, it was just a short walk away from the beach. The host was fantastic, and we had great communication throughout my stay. They were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a great experience at this Airbnb and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation close to the beach.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb. The house is larger than the pictures make it out to be, and their host and concierge services were the best I’ve experienced. Air conditioning in every room, and plenty of space. Location is about a 15-20 min walk to the “start” of the beach, but recommend renting a golf cart as the road is busy and you’re uphill on the way back. One thing to be aware of is there isn’t much shade in the back by the pool during the heat of the day. Only one sun umbrella was available and handful of lounge chairs. We also found the kitchenware, particularly the knives, to be quite worn out, so consider bringing some of your own if you plan on making meals. Excellent stay, great value.

La maison de Jennie est spacieuse, confortable, très bien équipée. Il faut un peu marcher pour accéder à la piscine mais c est rapide et on peut voir des oiseaux magnifiques sur le chemin. La vue est à couper le souffle. Jennie est très amicale, des fruits délicieux sont à l arrivée, Javier qui nous a accueilli est très sympathique. Top !

Casa Sundog is amazing! The concierge team was top notch from beginning to end. They were super communicative and provided great recommendations. The house was impressive to say the least and exceeded our expectations. This was the perfect stay for our family of 10 and made my parents 50th anniversary very memorable.

El apartamento tiene todas las comodidades para pasar una estadía en Tamarindo. Está ubicado al lado del Restaurant Sofía que es una gran alternativa para ir. La ubicación sin dudas es muy conveniente ya que está a 100 metros caminando de Playa Tamarindo y muy cerca de Playa Langosta. La comunicación con los propietarios fue muy rápida y siempre estuvieron disponibles. Incluso para brindarnos algunos detalles extra para la casa. Recomendable tanto para una estadía corta o más larga. Gracias Hassan, Mehmet y Ned!

This property was beautiful and clean, I loved the back porch with the pool and ocean view. The location was easy to get to, and the property was securely gated with plenty of parking space. The inside is gorgeous with a well equipped kitchen, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a big living room area. A big plus was that we had access to the Crocs hotel next door, with access to all the pools and restaurants. We especially loved seeing the macaws all around the property! Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to vacation in this area.

The place was very nice and exactly as pictured and described. The beds were super comfortable too, and the washer and dryer were a nice convenience. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and a cooler were also provided. The views were absolutely amazing from the unit and the rest of the property. The pool area was awesome and a very close walk! We also very much enjoyed the beach and restaurants In the area. As other reviews have said, you definitely need a golf cart to navigate in and out of the property (you can use your car but it’s also hard to park in town and at the beach), but the concierge will assist with that upon request. The whole staff was super nice and helpful! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

El lugar perfecto para disfrutar de Monteverde. Tranquilo, seguro, súper limpio. Cerca de todo. Me volvería a hospedar allí. El desayuno que incluyen en un restaurante a 100 metros del lugar, delicioso, con una atención impecable.

Très beau séjour de 3 nuits chez Eliette et Mark. Les appartements sont très bien équipés et entourés d’un beau jardin où l’on peut observer des animaux (papillons, colibris, toucan, faucon, pava …). Nous avons beaucoup échangé avec Eliette qui nous a très bien conseillés sur les meilleures activités et spots de là région. Très bon petit déjeuner inclus. Possibilité aussi de parcourir un sentier dans la forêt (un peu loins d’un km).

Great place, totally worth it, amazing pool view, very close to incredible beaches. Totally recommended.

Uno de los mejores lugares en los que me he hospedado, super limpio y privado, la atención del señor de la entrada es muy buena y las muchachas de limpieza espectaculares, el desayuno muy bueno, me permitieron salir un poco después y eso me ayudo mucho, realmente estoy admirada de la limpieza, todo olía rico y se ve limpio, para mi es muy importante y casi nunca encuentro lugares así de limpios, pensé que al ser un cuarto de una casa era pequeño y no, es como un apartamento, tenía todo lo que necesitaba y más, las fotos no le hacen justicia al bello lugar, es más de lo que esperaba, uno de los mejores desayunos que he tenido, definitivamente volveré a este Airbnb y lo recomiendo

We had an incredible stay at this bed and breakfast. The owners, who also run the place themselves, have put so much care into every detail—right down to the beautiful, functional furniture they built themselves. They truly nailed both the “bed” and “breakfast” aspects—we left feeling completely rested and refreshed. One tip for future guests, especially during the peak of the dry season: embrace the afternoon heat rather than fighting it. Take advantage of the thoughtful amenities—make a refreshing glass of iced tea or water (everything you need is provided), turn on the air, close the shades, and relax on the exceptionally comfortable beds. Even a nap isn’t a bad idea! By around 4:00 PM, it cools off enough to fully enjoy the pool, play darts, or challenge someone to a game of billiards. This is a truly special place, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Macao hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage am Strand ist traumhaft. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption sind sehr nett und leisten sehr gute Arbeit. Ich habe mich an diesem Ort sehr willkommen gefühlt und habe die Zeit im Hotel Macao und Samara sehr genossen.

Séjour parfait ! Hôte attentif et disponible. Activités exceptionnelles - sortie bateau et kayak en eaux bioluminescentes absolument magiques. Organisation impeccable. Je recommande vivement cette location pour son confort et ses expériences uniques.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We feel so blessed to have experienced Kristopher and Marie’s one-of-a-kind Airbnb accommodation. It is thoughtfully curated for those who are seeking an authentic experience nestled amongst Monteverde’s symbolic cloud forest. From the moment we arrived, they spared no expense in making us feel right at home by explaining all the features and amenities, providing us with a reservoir of information on local activities and for always being accessible. The inclusive daily breakfast was deliciously unforgettable, especially the homemade sourdough avocado toast and açaí bowl. We slept like babies every night and relished the breathtaking views. Marie also offers a morning yoga class which was the perfect way to start off the day. We genuinely enjoyed every second and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to be immersed with nature.

Dalia was so nice and gave us a warm welcome. We felt like family! There was another woman there that was also extremely nice. The breakfast was perfect! Great pitstop 20 minutes away from the airport. We ordered an uber to the airport and it was nice and easy. If we need a spot near the airport in the future we will definitely be back here! We had a wonderful stay at Joe's place in Samara. It is a lovely old Tico house centrally located a couple of blocks from the beach. There is a large upstairs porch with tables, chairs and hammocks where we spent many of our mornings and late afternoons. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. The women who prepared our breakfast were sweet and made delicious gallo pinto. Other guests were friendly and interesting.

This was a great place. Staff was friendly. The entire place was beautiful with the garden. And the location is central to the downtown area and places we visited. Wifi was also good and stable. The only downsides I could think of was there wasn't a fridge, microwave, or AC. I didn't need a fridge or microwave at all though. There was a minor ants infestation when I brought back some pastries. All in all, this is a great spot and I would recommend it.
