Nicoya Peninsula : locations de vacances adaptées aux enfants

Bertha and Kamal hooked me up with a local guide who helped me throughout the week. The house was nicely appointed, very clean and everything worked. Linens were of good quality. AC was good. Kitchen well equipped. The location is fantastic if you like the lush tropical rainforest vibe with lots of wildlife. Saw sloths, monkeys, Toucans a variety of birds and even an armadillo.. Proximity to Tenorio and Miravalles National Parks is excellent. Bijagua is a nice town and you get a feel for the real Costa Rica. I plan to return.

The most beautiful house i’ve ever seen! Everything was lovely, quality furniture, lots of light and sun. Lots of animals around to watch like iguanas and birds, made the morning very nice. AC in each bedroom, not in the living area, was pretty warm upon arrival, but cooled down with the ACs on and doors open. A gorgeous community pool, and a private outlet for EV charging right in the driveway. Jose was very responsive and a great host! I’d recommend the place to anyone!

Kelie’s place was absolutely magical! Perched atop a hill, it offered breathtaking views and a symphony of nature every morning—we loved waking up to the sounds of birds and other wildlife. Seeing toucans and macaws right from the property was unforgettable! The pool was the perfect temperature and a great spot to unwind. Inside, the home was impeccably clean, and the bathrooms were incredibly spacious. The outdoor grill and sound system made our evenings extra special, creating the perfect setting to relax and soak in the beauty of Costa Rica. What truly made this stay exceptional, though, was Kelie herself. She was the most responsive and thoughtful host I’ve ever had. Her kindness and attention to detail elevated our trip—from her fantastic recommendations to the way she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. She truly cares about her guests. If you’re visiting Costa Rica, do yourself a favor and book Kelie’s place. It’s not just a stay—it’s unforgettable!

We booked Jamie's place last minute as pur previous accommodation did not work out. The hosts were very responsive and gave us clear directions for finding the location and getting in. The house was clean and spacious with cool air conditioning in the bedrooms. The kids had a blast at the community pool and it was walkable to downtown (though it was hot with small children during March!) Access to the beach was easy! We would definitely stay again!

We spent a beautiful week at Casa Mariposa. We were 4 adults and 4 teens and the space was perfect for us. The house was spacious and there was lots of room for everyone. The location was great and very walkable to good restaurants and the spectacular beach! Appreciated the ample number of beach towels, the beach chairs and the tent. We would love to go back one day!

Mary and Kevin was an excellent host very responsive and the villa was very ptivate and very comfortable felt right at home

The house is perfectly designed to accommodate a large group, kids friendly, clean and well located, about 7 min walk to the beach. Alex was super nice, allowed us to check in earlier, provided very clear directions and check in instructions. She always responded quickly, provided great local recommendations, and connected us with a great chef, who turned out to be cheaper than any restaurant and prepared enough food to last for days. Our family of 10 really enjoyed the house :)

Vale totalmente la pena, la villa está súper equipada, limpia, ordena. Luciano súper amable respondía nuestras dudas a tiempo y con amabilidad. Sin duda es un lugar donde volvería cada vez que visite Santa Teresa. Únicamente la calle del ingreso a la villa no está en tan buen estado pero sin embargo si logra llegar sin mayor problema.

Ideal location, right in the heart of everything in Tamarindo, you call it restaurants, beach, supermarket, coffee shops, gym… The apartment if extremely well kept, surroundings are beautiful. Alexander and Gabriela are very friendly and helpful. Very fast internet for digital nomads. I recommend it to the Airbnb community 100 %

Had a nice stay here! The Jacuzzi on the back porch was a nice touch and the room, while a bit cozy, was clean and had everything you'd need to have an enjoyable place to unwind and make meals in the well-stocked kitchen. The pdf guide was very helpful for check-in and check-out as well as finding things to do around town. When we arrived another tenant was double-parked in the spaces for the unit but we were able to park across the street without issue. Convenient access to a local Maxi-Palí and other amenities. Good place at a good price!

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb during our last two nights in Santa Teresa! The apartment had everything you need to cook your own meal and chill after a day in Santa Teresa. It was nice that you could park your car / ATV behind the entrance gate. There’s a lot of nice restaurants, a supermarket and a laundry service within walking distance. Marilin was very helpful, providing us with lots of tips for our time in Santa Teresa and helping us rent an ATV. The apartment is tucked away from the main street, which makes it a perfect place to relax.

We had an amazing stay at Andrés Y Alejandra’s place. Andres welcomed us with a house tour and provided us with great local recommendations. The place is located close to the major attractions in the area and has a supermarket nearby for last minute shopping needs. We would totally recommend this place!

Great host and nice condo, but it should be stated that the complex is up a steep hill. We are seniors, and a month of going up and down was not feasible. Be in good shape, or rent a car or golf cart for your stay. The carts are road legal and capable of reaching a large number of groceries and restaurants. We had a great time and really enjoyed the pool and other guests.

Jessica's place was amazing! We are a family of 4 and it fit us perfectly! The beds were very comfortable, plenty of blankets, pillows and extra sheets for a pull out bed in the couch (the couch bed wasn't very comfortable but what pull out bed really is, our son loved it and said it perfectly fine). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all meals. The grocery store is within walking distance. We walked to the pools, played pickle ball at the courts and relaxed in the hot tub. The security guards were very nice and we felt very safe. We will be back!

Daphne's place was perfect four our family of six and we loved our stay! The condo was in great condition and we took advantage of the full kitchen to prepare some breakfasts and lunches so we didn't have to eat our every meal. The clubhouse and pool were conveniently located just next door to the building and our kids loved swimming and we enjoyed the beautiful views over the golf course. It was also so nice having the amenities of Reserva Conchal available - we swam at the beach club, used the kayaks in the ocean, and worked out in the gym - all were convenient and fun. And to top it off, Daphne was a fantastic host. Her communications for check-in and check-out were helpful and clear and she provided us with a great guidebook of local activities and attractions to help make our stay more enjoyable. We really couldn't recommend her or her place higher!

Vincent’s apartment is very comfortable,clean and in a good location. The kitchen was one the the best stocked one we have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone, with one exception. If you have mobility problems, there are 51 stairs from the front gate to the upstairs bedrooms. Wasn’t an issue for us. 😊

This place was amazing and exactly as described. We have a family of 4 (2 kids aged 11 and 9). This place was very quite which we loved (only 3 cars in the parking lot for our entire stay). Lots of things to do and places to eat within walking distance. The marina nearby is only a few years old and is beautiful. Nicest one I have ever seen with plenty of shops within it. The beach is nice due to it's location. The water is a little calmer than the beach on the other side of the point. Beautiful sand and felt private compared to some of the other popular beaches. Would come back again!

Mi familia y yo amamos la casa, el condominio perfecto para unos días de descanso, privado y silencioso para dormir, la casa está equipada con más de lo que esperamos, las toallas nos encantaron, además ponen toallas extras, la seguridad de aparcar y dormir sin pensar en el coche, además de tener restaurantes y tiendas muy cerca nos hicieron pasar una exlente semana con mi esposo e hijas, pudimos preparar deliciosos platillos en su cocina y una tarde de piscina, sin duda volveríamos.

The location was perfect. Not right in the busy area but very walkable. It is only 2 blocks to the public beach and walk along the beach to almost downtown. The suite was perfect for us. We only had 2 people. With a small bathroom it might be tight for 4 depending on your guests. There is lots of storage though to put things out of the way. The supplies are basic but more than sufficient. Very clean. I would suggest a line to dry things our back A couple tips. If you are sitting outside don’t shut the door all the way or make sure you have a key !!! We locked ourselves out. Ana was quick to respond though and her manager came quickly to let us in. Also be aware the cats around will push the door open if you leave it slightly ajar. They are friendly though but will try to get in. #2 tip when walking downtown there are parts of the main road that are very busy and no side walk so walking on the beach walk or another interior street is good.
