The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in over 50 Airbnbs. This was our 2nd time back and we were blown away this time just as much as our first visit! The house is the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. There is daily cleaning and care for the home. Outside, inside, dishes, laundry, you name it. The caretaker Vicente makes this house a home. We CANNOT say enough about him. He is one of the kindest humans and so helpful. We feel comfortable, safe, and valued when we stay here because of him. Our kids love Vicente and even cry when we leave. He helps with excursions, security, questions, and maintains our privacy impeccably while still being close if needed. The location is unbeatable. Far enough out of town to have peace and quite but close enough you can walk to Santa Theresa by beach. Everything is amazing here and we recommend to everyone visiting Costa Rica.

El lugar acogedor, limpio y perfecto para tiempo en familia o con amigos, es muy tranquilo y tiene suficiente espacio en el estacionamiento. Excelente comunicación con el anfitrión, son muy amables y siempre pendientes.

We had a great time here with my kids and mother. Loved seeing the scarlet macaws in the trees around sunset. The nearby beach is also beautiful.

Amazing place and amazing hospitality. Rebeca went above and beyond to help set up a birthday arrangement for my wife as we arrived at the property. She also helps us booked various excursions throughout our stay. As for the property, it is such a cozy and lovely place. We did use the jacuzzi and the pool on the property. Well needed to help reduce the soreness from all the physical workout doing all that La Fortuna has to offer. Highly recommend this place for anyone who comes to visit the area. We absolutely loved the house! The pool was great, and we were surrounded by beautiful nature. Our hosts were always communicative and helpful. We would definitely suggest getting a 4WD. They mention this in the listing, but the mention can be a little hard to find. The hill is pretty steep and it’s best to drive it.

Our stay at Elisabeth and Michael's home was fantastic! We felt as though we had stepped back in time to the early 1900's. They have done an amazing job restoring the place while retaining the original character. Their home is truly a work of art. While there are a few modern conveniences one might find missing, we had everything we needed, were very comfortable and felt completely at home. Michael's breakfast was wonderful and he was always ready to help in every way possible. Our conversations with our hosts were captivating and one of the hi lights of our time in Costa Rica! It is quite apparent that Elisabeth and Michael love Puntarenas and Costa Rica. That affection is quite contagious and we found ourselves more in love with their country having visited with them in their home for a few days and would definitely stay with them again.

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful and private, a serene hideaway in the rainforest while being close to La Fortuna attractions. We arrived later than expected and had to find the house at night, which was tricky. A helpful tip if you’re in the same situation: look for the driveway immediately after the bus stop on the left. The house was spotless, easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was well-stocked with everything we could need, including a Christmas tree! While the lack of rugs or wall coverings made it a bit echoey and sparse, it stayed wonderfully cool. The outdoor area was a highlight, with a fantastic space and a large table for dining al fresco. The pool was excellent and watching the wildlife was a treat, we even saw the sloth! One thing to note is the few friendly dogs who hung out around the property and marked the porch. While they weren’t aggressive, it’s worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, this was a fantastic place!

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. It was extremely peaceful and enjoyable. Wish we had more time in La Fortuna. We would’ve definitely stayed there another night. Waking up to the sounds of the water and the birds singing was truly special. We even enjoyed have the cattle next door as neighbors. Even the local restaurant on the corner was really good. We love Costa Rica.

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. Our stay was wonderful! The villa is beautifully renovated and well equipped. The host was responsive and attentive. Absolutely recommend staying here. We’ve been visiting Hacienda Pinilla for 4 years and this is our favorite area, it’s quiet and has access to Bonita beach which is beautiful!

What a great location and atmosphere and the Studio and garden is perfect with all necesities for a true beachfront vacation .. Definitely one of our best stays in Costa Rica. Sonny and Rita are the nicest most welcoming people! We will be back again as their Airbnb is a mew destination for us!!

Volveríamos sin pensarlo , la casa tiene todas las comodidades para sentirte en casa , la cocina muy bien equipada , la regalía del café fue increíble 😊, la cocina cuenta con sal , pimienta , aceite , toallas desechables, todo eso hace que quieras volver , las habitaciones súper cómodas. los encargados siempre al pendiente , muy amables en todo momento, . Al llegar vimos venados al frente de nuestra casa , la reserva tiene mucho por ver y hacer . El tiempo no te alcanzará 😆

Teako House was a really great stay, incredible value for the money, and a truly local experience in a real tico neighborhood that is located in a lush peaceful valley. The apartment was simple but surprisingly spacious and upgrades have been made since these pictures so I found things a bit more spruced up than I expected! From the little terrace you can see the surrounding teak farm and watch the clouds roll by (literally, you're in a cloud forest sometimes!). And the host Juan Carlos is a super nice local surfer and business owner who is stoked to offer up recommendations, etc. if you want them. I had to get some work done during my stay so I particularly appreciated the fast wifi and gorgeous relaxing nature view from the dining table that I used as my desk.

The Airbnb was perfect. In an up and coming area. Looks exactly like the photos, beach front access, close to many stores and restaurants. Quick access to the main road to get out of Jaco. I would highly recommend to everyone to stay here. I would definitely book again.

La fortuna nunca decepciona y en esta ocasión en el hospedaje de Adrian no fue la excepción, su casa es simplemente hermosa, acogedora y con una vista increíble, cuenta con lo necesario para hacer de la estadía muy placentera. El anfitrión 10/10, con su amabilidad, claridad y manera oportuna de brindar información hizo de nuestra primer experiencia en un airbnb muy agradable, Adrián muchas gracias.

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en este lugar. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos muchísimo de los días que pasamos aquí. El espacio es cómodo y acogedor, y la piscina fue un gran plus para todos. Además, el billar (pool) fue una excelente adición para la diversión en familia. ¡Sin duda, una experiencia increíble y nos encantaría volver!

This was property matched the description and the pictures well. El Castillo is a more peaceful area than La Fortuna and close enough to feel like you can go back and forth without any issue. The view from the porch hot tub is stunning and makes up for the rustic amenities within the cabin. There was daily construction starting at 6:00am on the house next-door, however, so I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known that before-hand.

Nous avons bien aimé notre passage à la maison Katira. La maison est sobre et très grande et offre un excellent lieu pour se déposer entre les diverses activités proposées dans la région. À 15 minutes de l'entrée du parc Tenorio et Roi Celeste. La galerie extérieure donne sur une petite ferme et la nature environnante. Des singes sont venus dans les arbres sur le terrain tout près de la maison ! Un grand merci!

Absolutely loved our stay! The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and breathtaking views of the volcano. Very private - no one else nearby. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and jacuzzi—it was the perfect place to relax. The location is great too, just a quick and easy 15-minute drive into downtown. Kenneth was an exceptional host—super responsive and thoughtful, even leaving fresh coconuts in the fridge for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Excelente todo, casi al frente hay un supermercado y restaurantes a los alrededores, zona muy tranquila.

Esta lugar es una casa muy bonita con bastante espacio, la piscina muy linda y toda la propiedad está hermosa y cerca de la Fortuna de san Carlos. Tiene acceso a un río donde entra carro (algunas partes solo carro alto). La dueña de la casa nos trató super bien e incluso nos consiguió algunas cosas que queríamos. Recomiendo el lugar si les gusta pasar un buen rato en familia.
