Maria's bed and breakfast is a 300 year old house in a quiet neighborhood a few miles from the center of Lucerne. The bus ride from the train station is 10-15 minutes long and the bus runs every 10 minutes. Maria, the host, was very friendly and helpful, and served a wonderful breakfast every morning. This room is on the third floor of this three-story house. It involves several staircases to get up there. The space was exactly as described, but be aware it is very small for more than two people. It consists of a bathroom with shower; an anteroom filled almost entirely by a queen bed; and a bedroom with two twin beds pushed together. The bedroom had a closet and a door that could be closed; the anteroom has only a small shelf and a curtain instead of a door. Two people will be fine here, but it was very tight for a family of four. There was not room to place more than one small suitcase in the anteroom, and we were tripping over each other. Still, a good value for the price!

Maria was a wonderful host! The place was as described. The Swiss breakfast was great! Nice and quiet even with shared spaces. We hope to come back to Luzern and stay again someday.

Excellent location, just a few minutes’ drive to restaurants and the laundromat. It’s also very quiet and safe. The host is a local tour guide, very friendly, and offers professional travel advice. Special thanks for the breakfast provided—it was even better than what I usually have at home. Highly recommended!!

Cornelia ist eine sehr freundliche, liebevolle Gastgeberin. Sie hat das Haus und Zimmer mit mit viel Kreativität und Liebe eingerichtet. Es war alles sehr sauber und alles notwendige vorhanden. Wir haben die Unterkunft auf unserer Reise nach Italien genutzt. Zur Stärkung gab es noch ein leckeres Frühstück. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr angenehme Gastgeber. Einfache, saubere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in schöner Umgebung. Frühstück einfach super mit Produkten aus der Region.

It was a beautiful site. I could get rest for a moment of silence. Bathroom was very clean. Also it is worth it to take a 30 min bus drive to have an little escape from the city. Cornelia 's breakfast is also a worth to ask for. She prepared very finely.

Ich habe mich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Das alte Haus hat einen wundervollen Charm. Es ist eine ruhige Gegend. Das Studio verfügt über ein gemütliches Bett, Kaffee/Tee Ecke, ein Badezimmer mit WC und Dusche, dass nur du benutzt. Die Heizung funktioniert und es gibt sogar Verdunkelung Plissees. Lotti ist sehr freundlich und der Kontakt war einwandfrei. Ich empfehle Lotti und das Studio weiter und komme sehr gerne wieder!

Ich verbrachte 3 wunderbare und entspannende Tage in Tamaras Wohnung. Wenn man auf der Suche ist nach Ruhe, Erholung, Me Time, Spaziergang zum See, ist man hier genau richtig. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich, mit niedlichen Dekorationen und vielen Büchern, eifach zum wohl fühlen. Tamara ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Sehr empfehlenswert sind Tamaras Massagen! Und auch toll die Sauna im Badezimmer😃 Der Aufenthalt bei Tamara ist absolut empfehlenswert. Ich freue mich schon darauf, wenn ich wieder für ein paar Tage hier verweilen darf😊

We really enjoyed our time at the apartment (and the hotel). Gabriela was so helpful to us throughout the entire three days we were there. She was able to provide us with all of the various tickets/passes we would need, along with setting up Parasailing for the two of us! Grindelwald is so beautiful. I’m thinking about coming to stay longer term.

Grosszügige, aber einfach eingerichtete Unterkunft. Der ungeheizte Pool war super, insbesonder auch, dass wir auch in der Nacht unter dem Sternenhimmel noch baden konnten.

Freundliche Gastgeber, schöne Mappe in der Wohnung mit wichtigen und hilfreichen Infos, große Wohnung mit schönen Balkon 😊

this place is really special! the views are even more incredible than in the pictures if that's possible. Isabelle had great suggestions for restaurants and things to do and was so responsive. I had never heard of Brunnen before but was so glad we stayed there. it was a great base to go places like Lucerne, Zurich, Interlaken, St Gallen and more. But Brunnen also has so much to offer itself. you could easily spend a whole week there. If you are thinking of booking this place, do it!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect with a fantastic view in all room, the amenities were great, and the host was very friendly and helpful, they also prepared very nice breakfast for guests. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Marie-Therese ist eine sehr freundliche und sympathische Gastgeberin. Wir haben das Airbnb gut gefunden. Es ist ruhig und in einer schönen Gegend gelegen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und das Frühstück ist reichhaltig mit regionalen Produkten. Marie-Therese hat für eine Kollegin auch Hafermilch und veganes Joghurt organisiert. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen wieder bei Marie-Therese einzuchecken.

Daniela and Herbert welcomed me into their home and I felt instantly like I was among friends. We shared stories of our travels and some wonderful bread. Breakfast and coffee was fantastic. The place was beautiful and peaceful and private. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. Highly recommended!

Die Lage war einmalig, die Aussicht wunderschön, die Atmosphäre angenehm und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr lecker (viele vegane Alternativen:)) Wir empfanden Sandra als sehr zugängliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen !

Es war sehr schön bei Monique und Urs. Sie sind sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber! Sie haben uns Kaffee und Kuchen angeboten, haben für uns Tische und Stühle auf den sonnigen Sitzplatz gestellt und vieles mehr. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ist ganz toll zu bewohnen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zimmer ist ruhig gelgen und sauber und gepflegt. Frühstück im Partnerhotel direkt unter dem Haus ist ausgezeichnet. Sehr gut zur Weiterempfehlung. Danke.

Anita und Werner sind tolle Gastgeber. Sie haben mich persönlich empfangen und mir gleich alles erklärt. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern groß und geräumig, durch die vielen Fenster sehr hell und gut geheizt. Die Lage ist extrem ruhig und mit super Aussicht. Auch das Badezimmer ist groß und sauber mit Badewanne, Dusche, 2 Waschbecken und Toilette. Und das Highlight war das Frühstück morgens... lecker selbstgebackenes Brot mit vielen Sorten Käse, Marmelade und ein Frühstücksei von glücklichen Hühnern. Und das Beste an allem waren Anita und Werner selbst. Wir haben uns beim Frühstück so gut über Gott und die Welt unterhalten, die Zeit verging immer wie im Flug. Die beiden sind nett, herzlich, kommunikativ und geben auch wertvolle Tipps zur Umgebung... ich hab mich gut aufgehoben und wie ne langjährige Freundin gefühlt. Wenn ich mal wieder in die Gegend komme, ist diese Unterkunft meine erste Wahl.

We had an excellent stay at Franziska’s. The entire family is incredibly welcoming. The room is modern and clean. Breakfast at the bakery was delicious! Would recommend to anyone staying in the Lucerne area.
