We had a great stay at Yosuke’s air BnB apartment in Nikko. Communication was excellent and Yosuke took the time to visit us to ensure we were settled in and also shared some great places to visit and eat. The apartment was very clean, tidy, spacious and as per the description and photos. There is nearby easy access to supermarkets, restaurants and the World Heritage sites in Nikko. We would recommend that you book a stay at Yosuke’s air BnB apartment in Nikko.

Vi var sju personer som bodde i lägenheten. Den var väldigt fin och hade alla bekvämligheter som man kan tänka sig. Synd att vi bara hade möjlighet att stanna över en natt.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yoji Studio! Amy and the host were incredibly helpful and provided us with amazing recommendations. We stayed whilst we were snowboarding, the accommodation has the added bonus of 20% off the snow rental shop on the slopes! The place felt just like home, so close to all amenities and plentiful space, utensils in the little kitchenette. Coffee machine was great too! Lovely comfy king sized bed to rest in after a long day on the slopes! There is a washer dryer to use with complimentary detergent, also shampoo, conditioner etc in the bathroom! Smart TV and wifi for the nights we stayed in. Next door is the studio space with gym and yoga equipment; a stones throw away from a local (free) onsen to soak those aching muscles! All round great hosts, a great little spot, couldn’t be happier with the week we had staying here! Thank you so much for having us ☺️

We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

L’appartement était impeccable ! Il y avait tout ce qu’il fallait pour être bien et il était très propre ! De belles balades à faire à proximité. Un parking privé. Vraiment top ! L’équipe et le couple de gérants sont très sympas ! Merci beaucoup et à bientôt

宇都宮を満喫するのに、とにかく立地が良かったです。小さい子連れの3家族で利用させていただきました。ベッドルームがそれぞれの家族ごとに使えてとても快適でした！また利用させていただきます。

Great place to stay with a great host!

Greg's place was wonderful :) It is conveniently located near the train station, and the space is really spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

Ce logement était parfait pour profiter de la nature dans la région et passer un moment tranquille. Nous avons également été dîner au petit restaurant à côté de la maison, un vrai délice ! Merci pour l’accueil !

Very responsive & helpful host. Free parking available. Great to have a washing machine and a dryer. The house is very cold but there is air conditioning and gas heaters throughout. It was definitely worth the price we paid.

This is our second time staying with Tomo and once again we had an excellent experience! We utilized this location for a weekend in Nikko. Tomo provided many local recommendations and that made our time even better. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Francisco, great host, instructions are very clear, the property is located away from the highway, peaceful and quiet. Stayed in November 2024, falls season and the surrounding area beautiful with autumn foliage. the woods with nature.

整體感覺良好 不過最美嗰日臨退房 係 唔好熱水沖涼， 熱暖爐都冇， 煮食爐都冇火， 原來全屋冇 石油氣， 當日即刻 打畀負責人 大概15至30分鐘先有人過嚟 不過我哋已經退房喇， 負責人 就回覆我哋 話我哋長期 開石油氣爐 同 熱水 所以導致 漏石油氣 就自動cut氣， 其實嗰晚 我哋大概十二點到睡覺 跟住朝頭早起身， 諗住沖涼 冇熱水跟住 睇過暖爐冇暖氣 煮食爐冇火 咁就證明冇石油氣喇

Takeo was very responsive and accommodating. There are clear instructions for everything and appreciate the diligence to respond to questions.

Perfect starting point for trekking to Happo-ike and Mount Karamatsu. Cozy room with peaceful and quiet surrounding. Pretty nice breakfast included. Though it was a short stay, we enjoyed it a lot.

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.

This spot was really great! Plenty of space and all the amenities. It wasn't clear at first where the parking space was at but we found it with help from our host, who responded right away! Thanks for having us : )

I can’t hype this place up enough. Perfect homey hideaway, right next to sakka slopes!! After a recommendation of rental gear (5 minutes away) we just needed to gear up and cross the road to the ski lifts. Its such a flex to be able to just walk back across the road to a warm and homey villa. We can’t thank Yasue and her partner enough. We will be back!! Would love to hike this area in spring. It was purely magical in winter, and was lucky enough to see some snow monkeys too!! We loved Hakuba. Hopefully we can come when there are less tourists as they can be quite disrespectful. We hope we have made a good impression for you!! Thank you very much and can’t wait to be back!!
