Private, peaceful, pet friendly lodging with good amenities, including a V60 for coffee. Accessible to Niigata landmarks, like the Dragondola and the Veranda. definitely worth revisiting in ski season!

The house was very well equipped and the surroundings was absolutely beautiful; magical during the snowfall. The house was large and offered private rooms and a large family area. Matt was extremely helpful and friendly. Matt gave us a bowl of fruits, wine and homemade sourdough loaf as a welcome gift which was lovely. Matt also personally made us a home brew coffee. The coffee machine was awesome. kitchen came with all the spices and tea with milk. Akakura onsen was a lengthy bracing walk in the snow! A car is required for the short drive to multiple ski fields and supermarkets (two wheel drive with snow chains, which we had to purchase). We enjoyed our stay and recommend this house.

ゲレンデからはシャトルバスで行き来しやすく新築のため部屋もとても綺麗でした。オーナーの方からの連絡はとても早く親切でわかりやすかったです。

事前の案内も丁寧でしたが、滞在後に直接説明してくださり、安心して快適に利用することができました。 また伺いたいと思います。

この価格で素晴らしい設備と景色にホストのホスピタリティが完璧で着いた瞬間にまた来たいね！と友達と話してしまうほど良かったです✨ 絶対にまた来ます！！ ありがとうございました🙇‍♂️✨ カメムシは出ますが、対策されてるので問題なかったです！

野尻湖や黒姫高原から近く非常に良かったです。 自然の中のログハウスなので蚊や他の虫も多いがそれは織り込み済み。きちんと対策していれば問題無し。 ログハウスの回りも犬と散策でき、他の回りの色々な施設がペットフレンドリーな所が多かったので良かったです。 例えば、遊覧船や黒姫高原フラワーガーデン、ちびっこ忍者村など。黒姫高原にはドッグランもあって良かった。 車で10分もしない所にローカルのスーパーもあるので、飲食物も調達でき、レストランもあり、家でまったりしても良し、外で地元の味を堪能するのも良し。 高齢の母と小学生含め5人と中型のワンコとの旅行でしたが、とても良い時間を過ごせました。

We absolutely loved this place would stay here over any of the hotels in Hakuba valley so wonderful to park there and cook our dinner after a day of skiing

Great location, walking distance to the train station and a supermarket and a 7-eleven. The building is newly built, super clean, and private. Highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay whilst visiting Nikko. The place was a little basic but perfect in terms of cleanliness and function. It had everything we needed and we were very satisfied. Beautiful scenery all around Nikko.

非常に清潔で設備もしっかりしており快適に過ごすことができました。　人里離れた場所にあるため、騒音等を気にしないで良いところもよかったです。 冬場はロッジに続く道が細く坂道になっているため、2WDの車ではスタックしてしまいます。必ず4WDで行くことをおすすめします。

犬ファーストの宿という名の通りでした！トイプードルでしたが、大型犬にも対応しておりどんな犬種でも満足できます。プライベートビーチ的に海にも出れて、サップもできます。犬用救命胴衣がありました。ワンコ用のドライヤーもあり、濡れてもあっという間に快適に乾かす事ができました。もちろん、わんこ用のアメニティも人間以上に充実！オーナーさんの対応は、宿泊前からとても丁寧で感じがよく、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。全てが行き届いており、次も絶対こちらにお世話になりたいと思いました！何より、家の中敷地内いつもの我が家のようにワンコが過ごせてわんこはずっと笑顔でした。我が家史上最高のお宿でした。ありがとうございました！

From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The place was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The kitchen/ living space was fantastic!! Also the bath! Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay.

This place just simply great for our large group. Lots of very well equipped rooms. Wonderful living space with elegantly furnished which made it feel like a luxurious villa house. Extremely lovely surroundings for a walk around. Kids had a wonderful time. Regret that we booked just for a night only. We will come back again.

Amazing host, friendly and super responsive. He checked available restaurants and booked seats for us when we had trouble finding an open one! The property is peaceful and gorgeous, and it has all kinds of amenities, way more than a usual Airbnb. Highly recommend and would certainly come again if in the area!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Tani House. The host welcomed us personally and gave us lots of tips for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was always available if we had additional questions or requests. As for the house, although it is an old traditional house, the beautiful renovation makes it so it is very comfortable and offers any facility you may need. It was a joy to spend time in the house and its design. A plus was the river that was perfect for swimming and only a 3 minute walk. It is perfect for exploring both the Yuzawa and the Tokamachi area. Highly recommend staying here.
