We had a fantastic stay at Sonya’s “The Nest” it truly felt like a home away from home! The place was spotless, and the thoughtful touches like a bottle on wine on arrival made it extra special. Sonya was an amazing host, always quick to respond and full of great local tips. The Nest’s location was perfect—just minutes from the beach and lovely cafes/restaurants and half hour from Harvey Bay. We especially loved relaxing on the verandah after a day of exploring. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!”

This was a lovely property. Joanne and Greg provided many thoughtful touches with an array of books and dvd's. The property if very accommodating for pets and Joanne and Greg provided amenities for the pets as well as human guests. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Deborah’s place, the facilities were excellent, there was more than enough dishes, cutlery and plenty of games for the children and adults, really well equipped home and plenty of space for all 13 of us . We would certainly book it again .

The stay was in a delightful period Queenslander with wooden floors and amazing paintings. It is the best equipped Airbnb we have stayed in and although we didn't cook a lot as there were excellent restaurants nearby, there was everything you could possibly need. The men in the family however would have liked a coffee machine! Pam made certain that we were kept informed of any issues and responded quickly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Great location and away from the noise. Lots of birds and easy access to the beach and park

Lovely tin roof Cabin as described and very clean. Great built in shuttered verandah attached that we couldn’t take full advantage of as it was over 35 degrees outside but we did manage to lounge out there late at night and could hear the ocean. Would stay again in spring or winter when you can take full advantage of the space. Very peaceful and quiet but you are reminded neighbours are a stones throw outside the bedroom wall when they are up and about in their yard very early in the morning. Lovely bird life and outlook. Well equiped kitchen and no clutter.

We had a wonderful time here. The house was perfect for 9 of us, plenty of space and spotlessly clean and tidy. I loved that it had everything we needed in terms of towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies and in generous quantities. The house is very close to the beach, allowing lovely walks along the shore and to the nearby shop and cafe. Sadly recent heavy rain meant the water was uninviting and we weren’t able to swim, the only downside (and not the hosts fault) to a fantastic holiday. I highly recommend Susan’s place to large groups looking to relax and unwind in spacious, clean and peaceful surroundings.
