Sylvies Haus ist war ein Traum . So ruhig und mitten in der Natur. Man konnte bunte Vögel, Kühe & Echsen aus unmittelbarer Nähe beobachten und den Bauern bei der Arbeit zuschauen. Für die Kinder war es so toll , sie konnten sich frei auf dem Feld und im Garten bewegen . Wie waren zu siebt mit Kindern in sylvies haus was vom Platz her auch ok war. Das haus hatte von der Ausstattung alles was man brauchte. Der Manager Shanaka kümmerte sich sehr fürsorglich um mich , als es mir eines Abends nicht gut ging und er arrangierte auch unseren Transfer. Alles in Allem eine ganz ganz tolle entspannte Woche , an die wir uns immer gerne zurückerinnern werden. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder ❤️👌🏽

Dès le portail, on est subjugué par la beauté des lieux. Je confirme la véracité des autres commentaires laissés par les précédents voyageurs. J'ajoute qu'en plus de toutes les qualités de cette villa, JC a pris le soin de prévoir notre arrivée pour que tout corresponde à notre attente. Des boissons, des fruits ont été achetés à notre demande (avec justifs à rembourser bien entendu). Ainsi, nous n'avons eu qu'à profiter. L'équipe de la Maison est aussi une des raisons de notre recommendation pour cette villa . Nous 6 adultes, restont encore émus par cette paranthèse qui ressemble au PAradis sur terre. De plus, en 30 mn à pied en traversant la campagne, nous arrivons sur les plages de Talpe où des petits beach clubs nous accueillent pour un bon moment à la plage et contempler les tortues dans leur milieu sans touristes pour les traumatiser. bref que du bonheur. Je reviendrai si je passe par Galle et sa région. encore merci JC.

We stayed for a week and loved every minute! The location is perfect, peaceful and private but only a short Tuktuk ride from Ahangama town. It’s not traditional self-catering, so no kitchen access but the wonderful staff are on hand to make you whatever you like, no request too much! We had our own private firework display and the team installed full length mirrors for us when we realised there wasn’t one. Honestly the team are lovely, discreet but always there to help. The villa isn’t in the heart of town, but only 5 mins Tuktuk or 30 min walk, which for us on a family holiday was perfect, quiet in the evenings, but so easy to go to the lively bars and restaurants in town. We loved it here! Thank you so much to all the team

Located in Rekawa beach (near Ranna) about 10km from Tangalle, this isolated, oceanfront villa is the perfect getaway - I can't recommend it enough! The pictures do not do this place justice. Hans was responsive and helpful. The house staff were attentive and hospitable and we took advantage of paying for local food and having the staff cook for us during our three night stay - an incredible value based on local restaurant prices (and yummy too!). There is a restaurant closeby if you prefer that. The house is very large; the back yard and pool area spectacular; and the beach access great. You can also have the staff schedule multiple day trips to surrounding areas so this is a great base for exploring the southern coast. Highly recommended!

We ended our trip to Sri Lanka at 9 Provinces, and it really couldn’t have been more perfect. The Gatehouse villa, pool, gardens and the main home up the mossy grand staircase are like walking in to a feature in a design magazine — but not in a look don't touch way. Every detail and feature exquisitely done, luxuriously comfortable but oh so welcoming. We knew we'd landed somewhere special. Huge bed with beautiful linens, cool concrete floors, natural textures (and your own laundry!). The gated entry gives you this quite smug sense of 'retreat', and the double outdoor shower and bath added a bit of theatre and giggles — pure indulgence and privacy from the chaos of the South Coast (and if that's not enough, Sameer the masseuse can be booked to visit!) But what really made the gatehouse unforgettable were Mike and Wally. Their genuine care and hospitality is pretty rare — warm, generous, fun and fabulous. Local tips and wild stories to boot... this place is an absolute treat

This place is absolutely amazing! The space is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

This villa provided an absolutely phenomenal stay for our group of four adults and two babies. The level of care and attention to detail was truly remarkable. The cook was a star, crafting the most exquisite Sri Lankan meals we've ever had, and his intuitive service was beyond compare – he anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. The owner's communication was flawless, seamlessly arranging all our transportation. His thoughtfulness was evident when he provided an extra high chair for our babies without us needing to ask. Each morning, he greeted us through a message, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The villa itself was beautiful and well-appointed, but it was the exceptional, people-focused hospitality that truly made this stay unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa for a truly special and stress-free vacation. It's easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had!

The photos don’t do it justice. This place exceeded my expectations which rarely happens After a few days of unwinding you start to really appreciate the design of the house and how it feels like you’re living in harmony with nature- the animals (monkeys/ dogs/ birds) are so close to you it’s actually quite magical. The privacy is also amazing and the staff are what really make this place exceptional. Both Sunethra and Chathuranga are so helpful, kind and genuinely warm and welcoming that you feel like you’re at home. Our party are all animal lovers and Chloe the dog was a wonderful bonus- always there but keeps her distance, never barks and makes you feel like she’s looking out for you. This place has families returning and we can see why- we will be one of them!! Location is excellent, just a short Tuk Tuk ride to the beaches and restaurants- but Sunethra’a cooking is actually the best food we had there so definitely get a few dinners booked with her for authentic Sri Lankan

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

This was a great place in a great location. The staff were super helpful. Chef Indy is a great cook and we enjoyed both his breakfasts (French toast was great!) and dinners (excellent curries). Kelum helped us arrange surf lessons as well as providing other tips. We had a great stay. The only downside of the place is that it is between a busy street and the train tracks and the train can be a bit loud but it didn’t keep any of us from sleeping and the private yard area is very nice. The open kitchen/living/dining area has a beautiful view of the ocean and the AC in the bedrooms worked great.

We had the best holidays ever spending our time here, the house is amazing, every single detail have been taken care of, beautiful space to create memories. The swimming pool is perfect, the green space is beautiful and is surrounded by the most beautiful greenery. The staff in the house is so kind and helpful, rooms were perfect and the living space is exactly what you need for a family or group of friends. Thank you!

We had the most incredible stay at Lace House! The villa itself is absolutely gorgeous—spacious, beautifully designed, and right by the sea. One of our favorite parts was being able to climb down the rocks straight into the ocean. It truly doesn’t get better than that, especially for a surf trip! A huge shoutout to the wonderful team on site—Udaya, the manager, was warm and welcoming, and always ready to help. And special thanks to Praboda , the chef, who really went above and beyond. He graciously prepared a crab dinner for us on our first night, and it was hands-down one of the best meals we’ve had. The food throughout our stay was fabulous—fresh, flavorful, and served with such care. Thank you, Katy, for hosting us in such a magical place.

The villa was immaculate and felt so homely as soon as I arrive, my family then arrived and 2am and the villa manager stayed awake to greet them. Jerome and his wife were beyond hospitable and the team cooking and cleaning the same. The food is exceptional and exceeded expectations. The villa is situated a few steps above the beautiful, what felt like our very own private beach. The garden is beautiful and perfect for the full family to enjoy from found to old Our stay was perfect, thank you

Die Villa ist sehr sauber und modern! Man fühlt sich gleich wohl & sollte es Probleme oder Fragen geben konnten wir Charu (Housekeeper) 24/7 erreichen.

Erg mooi en fijn verblijf en kwam helemaal overeen met de foto’s. We kwamen iets eerder aan en ze waren alles helemaal aan het schoonmaken. We mochten de spullen ergens neerzetten zodat we nog even wat konden eten. Host reageer snel en fijne communicatie.

We had an amazing stay at this villa! The space was beautiful and incredibly peaceful. Sammy, the cook, prepared fantastic meals that we all loved. The pool was a big hit, and the kids had endless fun on the trampoline. The common rooms were perfect for our group of nine, with plenty of space for games, TV, and reading together. Overall, it was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Highly recommend!

L’hôtel a ouvert il y a deux mois. C’est fait avec beaucoup de goût. Ça ressemble aux photos. Le lit est très confortable. J’ai apprécié la petite piscine qui est restée fraîche malgré la chaleur. Ça faisait beaucoup de bien de s’y trempé. Un soir il y a eu une coupure de courant sur toute la ville. Heureusement l’hôtel dispose d’un générateur et le confort est resté au top. C’est un endroit calme. Pas de bruit de fétards. On est au bord d’une rivière et à trois minutes à pied de la plage. 👍🏻 Je dois signaler qu’il y a cependant une route d’un côté et de l’autre les chemins de fer. Mais personnellement cela ne m’a absolument pas dérangée. Merci à Kasun qui a été très professionnel et sympathique.🙏 Je retournerai sans hésiter et je recommande ce lieu. 🤗

We loved our stay at Telo! The villa was beautiful and the perfect little haven to come back to in between exploring Ahangama and its surrounding areas. It was exactly as described in the photos. It’s a little bit away from the main area of ahangama which we really loved as it meant it was nice and peaceful at night. We rented a scooter to get around and would highly recommend. The team onsite were super helpful in organising everything for us too! We’ll hopefully be back! :)

we loved our stay here, Nidesh was responsive and flexible. The pool was amazing and it was cleaned every morning. great location, just a tuktuk away from the beach

We had a fantastic stay here, the manager Charith looked after us so well and really couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was a success. Our daughter is coeliac but he was very knowledgeable of what she could and couldn’t eat. The food there was some of the best food we’ve ever had! We’ll definitely be going back next year! We had an awesome time at Rakis. the property was everything we hoped for from the beautiful pool to spacious rooms. It was private and cosy . The chef & all staff were friendly and accomadating ! we will be back
