Espectacular chalet en medio del campo y a un paso de un fiordo. La cocina comedor es simplemente magnifica. Dan ganas de irse unos días allí a relajarse y mirar el horizonte. Por estar de turismo no pudimos sacarle el suficiente provecho. Cocina bien equipada y amplia. Amplia mesa y sofás para muchas personas. Las habitaciones son suficientes y en el ático o azotea hay muchas mas. Tiene una bonita terraza con su pequeña barbacoa (por el mal tiempo tampoco la pudimos aprovechar) y una chimenea que por no limpiar tampoco usamos. Merece la pena pagar un poco mas y no estar anquilosados en los famélicos campings noruegos de bajo coste. Mónica responde al instante y atendió todas mis preguntas y peticiones. Chalet de 10. Ojala haber tenido buen tiempo para ver desde allí las auroras boreales!. Al chalet se llega bien siguiendo las precisas indicaciones de Mónica.

The place is really beautiful. Small but have a minimalistic solution hence not cramp. It got a good sized balcony with a very nice view from it. The place is very accessible and walking distance to town proper and airport. The host is very responsive and very considerate. Really worth the money, we will choose to be back here and very highly recommended. Thank you :) and my daughter also has enjoyed it.

Le logement est superbe, avec une vue imprenable sur le fjord et les montagnes. L’emplacement est idéal, à une distance raisonnable de Svolvær, point de départ de nombreuses activités. La propreté était irréprochable, rien à redire. Seul petit bémol pour ceux qui voyagent en hiver : la quantité de bois fournie pour le chauffage est, selon moi, insuffisante. Le propriétaire nous a précisé qu’il nous appartenait d’acheter du bois, alors que le poêle constitue la seule source de chauffage. Mis à part ce détail, notre séjour a été absolument parfait.

Tor is the best host because he us thoughtful, helpful, and caring. Our family loved our snow days in his home because it was warm, cozy, and felt like home. Tor provided some fish he caught from the fjord for us to have and it was wonderful. This is the best overall stay my family has had in 4 international vacations. We hope to return for summer. We all slept so well in the cozy beds. The views were unbelievable. We enjoyed playing cards and chess. Kitchen is very well stocked and grocery store is 10 minutes away. HIGHLY recommend Tor and his summer home.

Es hat drei verschiedene Unterkünfte am selben Ort, wir wussten zuerst nicht recht vohin. Kurt kam aber schnell und half uns gleich. Die Küche ist spärlich aber funktional ausgerüstet. Alles in allem eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft für ein paar Tage.

Beautiful place in Bøstad. The pictures are exactly what to expect. The views are just unbeatable. You can see the sunrise over the beautiful mountain range and water from the living room, front deck, kitchen, and upstairs. Tonje was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The place is about 30 minutes from downtown Leknes with shops and restaurants. Definitely rent a car, it's totally worth it to be able to have the freedom to go anywhere you want to explore Lofoten.

We had a lovely time at Roger’s place, which was equipped with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Roger was very communicative, and provided thorough check-in instructions. The rorbuer is cozy and comfortable and well furnished, right on the harbour at Ballstad with a beautiful view out the front windows. I would recommend it to visitors desiring the “traditional” Lofoten experience without the huge price tag! Ballstad is a small village about 15 minutes drive from Leknes, where you can do your shopping. There is a convenience store a few minutes drive from the cabin, and a few restaurants around. I will note that the cabin is quite small, and there is no room to store suitcases in the bedroom - we kept ours in the living area, which was not a problem for us. There is also an upstairs residence and you can hear the occupants moving around - again, not an issue for us, but might be for others. Thanks for having us, Roger - we didn’t want to leave!

Everything was fantastic! Wiggo and Line have a beautiful cottage with a breathtaking view of the fjord and surrounding mountains. The cottage was immaculately clean and completely equipped with everything one might need for cooking and living - like being at one’s own home. The jacuzzi and fire house were just icing on the cake! And don’t forget about the outdoor pizza ovens and grill. Four days was not enough time for our family of three to enjoy all the amenities! We have already decided to return here on our next trip to Bodo! Thank you Wiggo and Line!
