We really enjoyed staying at the golden hour! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! They had sound machines in every bedroom which if you have kids is a big deal. The toys and kids activities there were a big hit! The pools are pristine and the whole outdoor area is very nice! Very short walk to beach which was also convenient! They literally thought of everything, if you forgot something chances are they had it! Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and want a nice low key place to stay!

This was our second time we stayed at Adam‘s place. He keeps the place very clean and it feels like home. We will definitely be returning in the future. The hot tub was a fantastic touch to a long day of walking around at Busch Gardens!!!

This place was everything expected. The only thing is that it’s really quiet and quiet time starts at 9pm and that’s when the kids get settled down. So I felt as if me and my friend had to tip toe outside to the hot tub because we didn’t want the police called on us for just making any noise outside.

Matthew’s airbnb was amazing! All the photos are accurate. It is spacious with several bedrooms and bathrooms providing each individual with privacy while promoting everyone to hang out in the living room/dining room/kitchen/bar area! The beds were very comfortable. The temperature was perfect. All the kitchen ware was clean and ready to use! 100% recommend to anyone looking to host a large party!

This is not a beach house, it's a beach palace! It was actually bigger than we expected. The place was super clean, well maintained, furniture in great condition, new grill and fully equipped for max fun: a kayak, a canoe, puzzles, board games, beach toys for the kids and so much more. Becky was super nice. A 10/10 experience, we'll try to go back next year!

We LOVED our stay at the Great Escape. This Airbnb was the perfect location! The host was very responsive and the Airbnb was beautiful and full of great amenities. We made great memories!

My husband and I spent a week at the beach cottage. The location is unbeatable, just steps to the beach. If you are not fond of the sand, you can sit in the porch and enjoy the view. You will not want to leave! The house was clean and exactly as pictured. Cecilio and his wife answered promptly all of my questions about places to eat and things to do. If you enjoy fishing, the Ocean View pier (longest in the State of Virginia) is just a half a mile walk from the house, or a short drive. You can rent fishing poles, buy bait, and feel like a local. You can also get some crab traps and get blue crabs. The pier has a restaurant with a nice view and a full bar. The beach right outside the house feels private. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good book. If you like water activities, the cottage has plenty of beach gear, including paddle boarding, and kayaks. We wanted to relax and reconnect, and this place was the perfect spot for us. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay on John’s property. The house was as described, an older home, but we loved the quirkiness. It’s a peaceful area on the beach with beautiful scenery. We came during a snow storm. The snow on the beach was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while admiring the snow. John was quick to respond and very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be return guests.

We loved staying here! The location was absolutely beautiful and the Airbnb was spotless and so cute. We will definitely come back again!
