Norfork Lake : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

This home is perfect for families traveling with dogs and those with an appreciation for outdoors. My kiddos loved the hot tub and observing the native wildlife (deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, etc…). The directions differed slightly from the listing (we never saw the stump) but we were still able to find our way. My mother visited us and was able to navigate the road in her car but we ultimately elected to leave it down the hill/across the creek. If we are ever in the area, we would definitely book again. The host was an excellent communicator.

Doug’s place was a welcome retreat for our extended family for Thanksgiving 2024. We had seven adults and 6 kids - all had an amazing time. Here are some things we really liked about Doug’s place: 1. The kitchen was spacious and squeaky clean. There were loads of appliances and helpful kitchen tools to use. Our family was able to prepare our entire Thanksgiving meal in the bright, spacious, and well-equipped space. 2. The huge dining room table easily fit our large party. We loved the dark wood and the contemporary benches to complement our holiday feast. There was also additional seating at the kitchen bar. Lots of room to entertain. 3. The kids, aged 8-16, loved playing in the basement game room. Pool, foosball, basketball, and a large device-compatible screen. The television also has many streaming services. Lots of seating and sports for lounging. The six kids loved it. 4. The hot tub was a nice touch on the cool days and nights. The tub could hold 8 adults easily. Fun times!

The stone cabin was very peaceful. The water fall right out the back door was amazing. Slept very peacefully in the cabin, the gas log fire place kept it very cozy and gave the room a nice relaxing ambience. Being able to walk the property and along the creek was awesome, very beautiful scenery. Jennifer was very responsive and always polite. Had a small hiccup with the hot tub, but Wade responded quickly and had it up and running again in no time. If you want to unplug from the outside world this is definitely the place to do it.

Amazing peaceful getaway. 10/10 will be coming back. It was the best 3 days of thunder and rain we could have hoped for! And our pup Rizzo loved it too. Wade’s the best!

Had a great stay. Did not have any cell phone service which was a plus for me because we had more quality family time. The board games and pool table was fun!

Nice place. Pretty area. good porch swing for morning coffee. Good sized fire pit. Full kitchen was nice. TALL PEOPLE NOTICE: Shower head is at 5'6"ish.

Everything was as described. Great fishing off the dock on the property. Plenty of fire wood. Multiple queen beds made it the perfect place for our group of 4. If you’re looking for a quaint place with easy access to the river Little Blue is great.

A beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean cabin, cozy and big enough for the whole family; quaint enough for a quiet week(end) retreat. Located near Norfork, there’s good fishing or some little shops if your into that kind of thing (Highly recommend a trip to Heidi’s Ugly Cakes). Have a fire in the fire-pit or enjoy the spacious patio and cook-out. There’s always a view of the river even from the two picture windows. We’ll certainly be back!

Cassie was great! The cabin was very private but convenient to everything! Accommodations and amenities were perfect. Plan on coming back yearly!!

We had a wonderful relaxing trip! The neighborhood was very peaceful and over all a quaint little town. Will definitely be going back

Everything was great! Clean house on the beautiful White River and a private dock(closest dock to the dam) and boat ramp as well, doesn’t get much better than that! We will be back again!! Thank you!

So Anedodi, is the best bang for the buck. I love how they have left the extras that other guest "donate" we left some beautiful florals and and other dish ware. It feels just like going to the family cabin. And that is the BIGGEST Bath tub i have ever seen in my life everyone's first response was how did they get it in here, i think they built the house around it..lol Everything is really great and when you're stressed just go have a drink on the porch and watch the sunset did wonders for my soul.. thank you so much Hilary for sharing your piece of heaven.. the Martin-Teager's although i didn't get a hyphen even on face book so scratch that Thank You, The Martin's ...lol

Rocking Chair Resort was perfect for our stay near Lake Norfork. Jane was helpful as I was looking for last minute availability on a busy weekend. The cabin was clean and comfortable!

A lovely home with rocking chairs on the deck and enclosed porch, a large kitchen, streaming television, comfortable beds, and plenty of bathrooms. One of those rare locations at which pets are welcome. Great place for a multi-family getaway!
