We had a fantastic time, we rented a boat enjoyed the water, had a great time in town. I would definitely recommend staying for a few days.

A very clean space with plenty of to spread out. As convenient as you can get for fishing.

The Love Boat met all of our expectations for a weekend stay in Manteo. We love the Manteo area, but have never stayed on a boat before, and was on our list of things to do. After we parked our car in the marina, we didn't move it again as we could walk to all of our destinations in the quaint town of Manteo. We also love to kayak, and 2 are available with this listing. The Love Boat was comfortable and had everything we needed. Gia was very thoughtful and communicated frequently to make sure we had the information and resources we needed for our weekend stay. Highly recommend if you want to experience some time staying on a boat vs. a cabin or home.

Omg just BOOK IT! Kim’s place is just as described, tastefully decorated, comfy bed and couch, well stocked with shower supplies and towels. Kitchen is stocked with all spices and such (we ate meals out). Porch was amazing for feeding turtles and just relaxing on with a glass of wine, You won’t want to leave! Kim provides plenty of paper plates , towels and garbage bags for your stay unlike other places we have stayed. Kim makes check in and out so easy and always receptive to any texting questions! As far as movement you really don’t notice it and we had some windy nights, if you don’t focus on it you probably won’t feel it. Thanks Kim for the amazing stay, we will be back :) Verna

What an idyllic experience. Truly the best experience surrounded by nature- water, tree line, loons, etc. Nothing quite like waking up to 2 loons outside your float, the sun beaming in and the calm sounds of water, or going to sleep with a sky full of stars and the milky way beaming down on you. The boat was so quaint, so functional and everything you need for a relaxing stay, including two very powerful gas stoves good for cooking most meals, and a nice warm shower while you look out into the pond. It was a very easy paddle to shore if you wanted to go out for food, or for daytime adventures. Also a very gentle paddle around the pond for exploration. Rheanna was fantastic- responsive, welcoming and easy to get along with. She was very accommodating and we are very grateful we got to stay on her boathouse. It was a very easy and comfortable stay, so for those feeling apprehensive about the challenges of life on a boat, I wouldn't worry. The highest of recommendations! We'll be back!

We loved this place. Wish we had booked a couple more days to explore the island. There is free parking but you kind of have to pay in the adjoining lot, go down the dock and get yourself in and read the welcome book where the free parking is described with a map and where the parking pass is. This is not clear in the arrival instructions but it’s only 2 bucks and once you see it all it makes sense. We unloaded our car from the paid lot as it was much closer then went and parked free from then on. None of the above should discourage anyone from staying here though because it’s a terrific place! Nice welcome basket was greatly appreciated. Lobster and ice cream just a short walk away and tons of shops not much further. Loved it!

Jay & Teresa’s place was wonderful! The location was perfect and it was exactly as described and pictured. The Houseboat was comfortable and I felt right at home. I can’t wait to make this a yearly trip ❤️

Loved having a different/unique place to stay while in Door county. The houseboat is literally next to the steel bridge but noise was not a problem. What I had not counted on was the very gentle swaying of the boat though this did not affect our stay at all. The beds were very comfortable, the houseboat was clean. The directions to get there were detailed and clear. Loved sitting up on the deck watching the world go by! We did have one issue while we were there, Mary was incredible responsive and the issue was solved promptly! Loved the guy who came to resolve the issue, he was full of local history and information! Great experience!

A hidden gem and truly magnificent boat house. Lovely view over the Fraser River close to some wonderful nature areas (Boundary Bay, Reifel Bird Sanctuary etc.) I wish I could have stayed a bit longer but will definitely return if I have the chance.

Such a beautiful location! We had a lot of fun kayaking, reading on the porch, and exploring the Keys! Joseph is an extremely responsive, kind host who went the extra mile to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Bruce's property was peaceful, private and just what we were looking for. Bruce was very friendly and helpful and responded quickly if we had any questions. The location was amazing and the view was breathtaking. We caught flounder, blue runner, and snapper from the dock and almost missed check out time because my husband spotted a giant snook on our way out 🙂. Book it! You won't be sorry.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights and we both agreed that that the houseboat was a magical place. Being separated from the land really helped us relax. We slept like babies with the gentle rocking of the waves. The sunsets, sunrises and stars from the roof were amazing. We also highly recommend taking Ally’s eco tour to see and learn about turtles, rays and conchs. Tony and Ally were very friendly and attentive hosts.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here at Cass-n-Reel! The views were absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful! I came during the winter months yet it still felt so cozy and warm. There is a lot to see around the area and so many restaurants. The Kirby’s provide you with many helpful details about what’s around and what you can get into. I would definitely recommend staying here (and I already have to my friends!) and I would love to book here again in the future!

I enjoyed my stay here. It was a great space to unwind and reflect. Those at the neighboring Rockwater Marina were especially kind and welcoming.

We've been to quite a few AirBnb's over the past few years. Danielle 's Houseboat is right at the top of our list! It is unique, clean, quaint, peaceful, comfortable...so much to mention. We loved staying here. The fish light at the back of the houseboat is very cool. Danielle gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and she was great with communication throughout our stay. Do yourself a favor and book a stay at the River Rat Resort.

We just got back from staying on Peter’s house boat for my son’s 11th birthday. On the way home he said “Can we just do this again for ALL my birthdays?!?” And of course he would feel that way because he got to “captain” a boat that took us out to swim in the lake, watch a purple sunset on the roof and play his favorite board games listening to the sound of the water. It was absolutely perfect! The house is just as pictured with anything you need (even expresso for the parents;) and the roof can’t be done justice in pictures. Peter was a patient, kind host who was excellent with the kiddos even showing them how to steer the boat etc. Can’t recommend this highly enough you must experience it for yourself!

The Driftwood houseboat was delightful! Located on Iowa’s only island.. Beautiful views of the marina; right along the Mississippi river. Great location for getting to natural areas, plus towns up and down the Mississippi in Illinois and Iowa. I would recommend it. We would like to go back and try another houseboat. Kelly was Wonderful!

My recent stay at the Regency that exceeded our expectations! The property was exactly as described, with cozy decor and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to local attractions yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, which allowed for a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. However, there was one drawback that I feel is worth mentioning: the cleaning fees. While I understand that cleaning fees are standard, I was surprised to find that, despite paying a significant amount for cleaning, guests were still asked to load the dishwasher and start a load of laundry before checking out. This felt a bit contradictory, and it made me question the value of the cleaning fee itself. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a charming and convenient place to stay. I can’t wait to come back!

The houseboat was even better than the pictures showed. The location is gorgeous, private and just lovely all around. Natalie is a wonderful host; she responded immediately to all our questions and requests. She definitely makes her guests' comfort and pleasure a top priority. I can't wait to come back.

Private beautiful float house right on Welcome Slough. Very clean and updated nicely. Nice to be part of the history of the island.

This was my 1st stay at a house boat & it was really nice. My host was responsive which was great! The house was nice & clean & up to date with fixtures (I had to figure out how to work the ceiling fans & fancy toilet😂). Everything that was needed was provided already for ex. laundry detergent, dryer sheets, sanitizing spray, paper towels, trash bags, etc. The only thing that threw me off a little was the size. I know that angles that pictures are taken make a difference so it wasn't a biggie but it looks just like the pics that are posted online. I had a great 1st visit & will probably have a 2nd😊.

Our stay on this houseboat in Annapolis was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the serene beauty of the water and had a front-row view of Annapolis's charming waterfront. The proximity to local restaurants and shops made it so convenient to explore the area, yet returning to the boat always felt like our own little retreat. One of the memorable moments was having dinner on the top deck. Watching the sun set over the water as we enjoyed a meal was an experience we’ll never forget. The gentle sway of the boat, combined with the spectacular view, created the perfect backdrop for unwinding and making memories. There are so many other wonderful details about this place that made it unique, from the cozy yet spacious interiors to the thoughtful amenities provided by the host. For anyone looking for a unique, peaceful getaway with access to everything Annapolis has to offer, this houseboat is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay here!! Rebecca was an amazing hostess — easy to connect with, responsive, friendly, kind — and we loved everything about our houseboat. It was clearly decorated by ladies with good taste, it was clean, comfortable, and between the candles, the white noise machines, and the diffusers in the bedroom to the coffee station and the well-equipped kitchen, they thought of everything! The whole houseboat experience was just epic, too! Absolutely would recommend staying here, no questions asked. My only regret is not staying longer!
