This was my third time staying at Susan’s home and I will stay there again! The home is very clean, private and comfortable. Host is very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Homossasa.

We had an enjoyable stay at Shiying’s place. The house was beautiful and right on the lake…. It had an awesome view of the frozen lake. The living space had so many windows that you can see the lake from all directions. Even though it was cold outdoors we could enjoy the lake view from inside. All instructions were clear and not hard to follow. She also proactively agreed to mail my jacket that I had left at her place. 😃

The area sustained 2 Hurricanes in the previous 3 months. The home was in surprisingly good shape. The home was well furnished throughout and pleasantly decorated. The exterior of the home needs some work, but did not affect our stay. The area is awash with no-see-ums. We all were constantly getting bit despite bug spray. There are 4 good double kayaks, paddles and life vests. There were not back rests for all 8 pisitions. The back rests that were present were not very good. There is room on the property for a sizeable camper with hookup (main reason we chose this spot). Weeki Watchee State park is near by. We spent probably close to 10 hours over 4 days (all combined during our 7 day stay) and only saw Manatees on one day. All in all, we had a really nice time. I honestly don't know if we'd stay in this immediate area again (mostly do to the no see ums). The hosts are very pleasant and responsive.

The place is amazing, just like Daniele herself. The neighborhood is peaceful and private. The house's private dock gives access to the canal and the lake. The house is cozy with one full bathroom and a half-bathroom in the main bedroom. There's a fireplace in the spacious livinvroom and one fireplace in the backyard. There are fishing rods and lifejackets as well as kayak and a boat in the backyard. The kitchen has nearly everything you can possibly need. And most surprisingly, there are three adorable cats that live around the front porch of the house. We had an lovely time feeding and patting them. Daniele is a great host, she's proactive and very quick to respond to our questions. She's knowledgeable of the local community and was able to give us suggestions for our trip. I strongly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay here again.

everything was petfect

The house was just as described. Loved having meals on the screened in porch each morning while watching the boats and wildlife float/fly by. Very peaceful setting. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. Also the Cabana Club pool and beach was a wonderful place to relax. We enjoyed meeting other Key Colony residents/visitors at the pool and at Sunset Park. They have concerts on Sunday afternoons in the park.

We had a great time staying here. This was a really fun place on the river. We got to take advantage of the kayaks and do some exploring. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Quiet location, close to lots of activities and loved the canal access!

Beautiful, private, relaxing stay in the Nature. The cottage has absolutely everything you will need for a whole family including babies to have a great vacation. Luisa was a great host and made us feel most welcomed! She suggested activities in the area around in addition to those available at the cottage itself and answered promptly, when we needed her help. Thank you for everything! :-)

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

What a place… A weekend getaway for the wifes birthday… quiet lake, senic ride up, great cottage… 10/10 and thats with goin in february so I can only imagine in the summer. Fishing was good and the outdoor rink was awesome too. Highly recommend this cottage and Dan was a fantastic host!

Beautiful winter stay at well equipped comfy cabin! Definitely need 4WD and snow tires for the roads up in Haliburton. But so beautiful and peaceful with gorgeous view of the lake. Deer come through the property regularly. Cabin warmed up quick once wood stove got going. Beds were very comfortable. I only recommend visitors bring dry firewood to get fire going when you arrive. :-) Great experience would love to book again in fall.

We loved staying at this cozy cabin! The water views were simply gorgeous. Our two dogs were very comfortable and loved the yard. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the screened in porch. The only thing I would give a heads up on are the roosters next door. They started crowing at 6:30am and didn’t let up until 8:30am. Then they randomly crowed throughout the day. It didn’t really bother me, but it woke up my kids and thus they woke up my husband and myself. So, just something to be aware of. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

Quiet winter weekend in a classic Maine cabin. Great communication, everything as expected.

I’ve been to many Airbnb stays all over the US and this is my favorite one. I had my first crab trapping experience and love the dock/patio with the fish cleaning table. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The hosts were great and very responsive. Can’t wait to bring my family back here!

Lynn was a very responsive and kind host! We had some bad weather during our stay and she reached out to make sure we were aware. Not only that but she let us take shelter in the next door home with a lower level. Truly went above and beyond and made us feel right at home and well cared for.

Cabin was perfect for me and my wife’s mini-honeymoon. Cozy, clean, and nice and quiet to unwind. Staff were super helpful, especially when my wife had trouble getting wifi access to do some schoolwork - they got it taken care of right away. Fully recommend and would visit again.

Our stay at Oasis Retreat in Sevierville was absolutely wonderful! We are a family of four with two young kids, and this place was the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and relaxation. While we spent most of our days exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, it was so nice to have a peaceful retreat to come back to after the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions. The house was just as described—very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Marcel, the host, was fantastic. He was always responsive and provided clear instructions that made our stay smooth and hassle-free. What we loved most was how close the retreat is to nearby attractions, yet it still feels like you’re deeply immersed in nature. The serenity of the location allowed us to unwind and recharge, away from the crowds but still close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Highly recommend!!
