Overall I had a good month stay here. Some notes: +Tesco close by +Right next to bus lines and train station +Ayr is about 15-20 minutes away Note that the owner doesn’t live here and there rooms in total are rented. I had 5 guest come in and out when I was there. Great location for trips out in Ayrshire, grocery is close, but Ayr isn’t the most exciting place in the world! Worth the stay.

Jean is a great host and very welcoming. Responsive, friendly, and more than willing to help. The room was clean, well kept, with coffe and tea and with an additional heavy blanket in case you get cold. Jean even provided a small cooked breakfast in the morning, which was a great help considering I had visited for a party the night before! Price is great for the area. Would stay again if ever visiting Troon!

It was a pleasure to be a guest at Jane and Martin's place. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with hospitality and attention, even though I only stayed for 2 days. The house, room, and amenities fully corresponded to the description. Very convenient location close to the town and great views. Inside you can see a beautiful art collection, and a wonderful garden is behind the house. Martin was incredibly welcoming and gave me lots of local recommendations. He was also very attentive to me and even gave me a bike to explore the island! It totally made my weekend!!! I'm really grateful for the experience💙💙💙 Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely come back again!

Very flexible about coming and going, light left on at night to welcome us home. Awesome breakfasts from both Sherie and Andrew! Very knowledgeable about local matters and especially supportive when ferry troubles arose suddenly!

The stay was good and house was good in a decent location. Michael was really helpful in slotting me into the schedule. Would definitely stay again.

We have family in Largs and whilst we have stayed at an Air B&B in Largs before nothing compares to Ryan’s apparent, it’s so welcoming, it’s absolutely spotless and the amenities are what you get at a 5* hotel my wife and I loved it and have already recommended it to other family members. We are going to stay there for future visits, enough said.

Lisa’s flat is beautiful with all the amenities needed for a long or short stay. The flat is very close to the train station, which is very convenient if you are getting here by train from Glasgow. If you are driving here, you can park on the street but if no space, try the station car park which is to the right of the apartment block - where parking is free! The noise was very minimal at night (whether cars or trains) and there was such a peaceful ambience throughout the whole building. We loved how Lisa had decorated the flat and the thoughtful touches in the kitchen - eggs, bread, milk etc and farmhouse style kitchen. Lisa was a great host, always responsive and gave us good recommendations. I would love to stay here again. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Jeanette's flat for 2 days while visiting family nearby. Accommodation was spotless and location perfect as right on the seafront and 2 mins from town centre cafes and restaurants. Jeanette communicated everything perfectly and left out cakes, biscuits and toys for our little boy to play with. Highly recommended.

We've had many trips to Largs to see family & stayed in a number of Airbnb's. This was one of the best. Very convenient to town, free parking right outside, spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. Cameron was extremely accommodating in terms of getting the keys to the flat and, when the hob was found to not be working, went out of his way to find a replacement and fit it within a few hours to avoid any inconvenience to us. We would happily stay here again and thank Cameron for his hospitality.

Avril's B and B is right on the water with a beautiful view and garden. Avril was extremely kind in cooking us breakfast and was genuinely so nice to chat with as her history of the area was formidable. Comfortable bed and easy check in process.

Had such a lovely stay here. The place was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The private sitting area was so helpful, and we were not expecting to have so much in the room! Very comfortable bed, and the room was nice and warm. We were also offered some pastries to be delivered in the morning, as well as some cereals and milk in the room. We were provided ear plugs in case of noise, but we couldn’t hear anything, other than Bonnie once welcoming a set of guests 🐶. Would absolutely stay here again.

Big comfortable room with amazing views. A very effective standalone electric heater is provided to keep out the sea chill. Breakfast was delicious and prepared using good quality ingredients. Do give yourself a minimum of an hour to enjoy it to the full. Avril provided us with interesting insights and useful information relating to our travel plans. Many thanks..

Excellent location, very smart neighbourhood, kind and friendly host and staff. The rooms were very well turned out with lovely linen, soft beds, spotlessly clear and classy artwork lining the walls on the way up to the bedroom. Flexible response to providing an early breakfast. Breakfasts were delicious, especially in my opinion the porridge with berries, honey and cream. I would like to come back again very soon!

Peaceful stay in a quaint airBnB, Robbie has clearly put thought into the place, breakfast was plenty and lovely.

From start to finish Liz was so welcoming, kind and helpful. Her house and location of her house is absolutely stunning, the bedroom was immaculate, had a gorgeous view of the sea and had everything we needed. Not to mention the fact that we were offered breakfast in the morning! All of this for an incredibly reasonable price. Liz is a fantastic host and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to stay in the area
