I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

Our New Year week had every possible kind of weather. The cottage was a cosy refuge when the rain and wind were doing their worst. All the facilities were great, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, everything just the way you’d expect. Our terrier enjoyed being right beside the sea front. And the sun did shine, too, and we had a sauna and swim in the sea. All outstanding.

The room was clean and the kitchen was big. Worth for Money and great natural location

We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. We rented out jennifers house for a girls family get together. The house was amazing with whatever we needed. Most beds were comfortable except one, where the mattress was quite hard. Jennifer was a great host and very responsive. Pubs, restaurants etc were just a short walk away. Great for a chilled time away.

David's place was just what we needed after a long drive. Generously stocked, beautifully and comfortably furnished, everything worked easily and we slept really well. Thank you David, thoroughly recommend

We have had a great stay! The house was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t need Kate but we felt confident she would help with anything as her communication was spot on!The local post office in Blackwaterfoot was perfect for groceries and the hotel and roll shop were brilliant for eating out. Loved our stay on Arran!

I recently enjoyed a weekend stay at Nicola’s caravan in Wemyss Bay with my partner, Lisa, and our dogs. Despite the rainy weather throughout our visit, we made the most of our time and had a fantastic experience. Nicola was incredibly helpful and engaging from the start, ensuring a smooth booking process and providing all necessary information. Upon arrival, we found the caravan spotless and well-maintained, offering a cozy retreat from the rain. Its excellent location provided easy access to local attractions and scenic spots, which we and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring, rain or shine. I highly recommend Nicola’s caravan to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming getaway in Wemyss Bay. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the future. 

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

A really lovely caravan, very comfortable, with everything you could need. The kitchen has a great stove and all the small appliances. The lounge is a great place to relax. I loved that there are two bathrooms. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and the bedding was good. No towels, so bring your own. We did not use any of the facilities on the park as we were travelling around all day. However, the people seemed friendly and the park is well maintained. Could use some trees though. Saltcoats is a lovely place and so are many of the other towns around. We loved our stay and Steven is a great host.

We had a lovely stay at Gillian’s caravan , it had everything we needed and the communication with Gillian was great .

Another great stay in Hazel's caravan, she went above and beyond for this trip as I forgot stuff and had a few mental moments, caravan was clean and lovely as usual, always responds quick, see you again next year hopefully x

Ronald and Trisha went over and above to make us feel welcome including a birthday card and extras for our 6 year old sons birthday. Property is perfectly clean, warm, and has all mod cons required for a relaxing stay. We could not fault anything including our excellent hosts. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Mary's lodge in Wemyss Bay Caravan Park over the Christmas period. The hosts were welcoming and took the time to explain all aspects of the lodge and its facilities upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The lodge was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and a great table for our Christmas Dinner which made it feel like a true home away from home. It was warm and exactly as described on Airbnb. The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cosy and well-appointed retreat!

A hidden Gem! Exceptionally clean & well kept property. Gemma was a fantastic host and was proactive with instructions on how to access the property and switch on the water supply and heating. This the third time I have stayed with Maria and the cottage feels like a home from home . The cottage is so cosy and Maria very friendly and helpful.

A gorgeous stay, beautiful scenery with options for walks and swims and a lovely environment. Equipped with everything you would want and a responsive host. We always have a lovely time when we stay here and will be back again!

A lovely property in a great location. Main bathroom and kitchen seem new. Was a little unnerved by the dehumidifiers, but wasn't a problem. Heating took a little time to get set up, but once was really cosy when we got back. Comfortable beds. We definitely felt at home and the kids loved it. Responsive host who was lovely to deal with as well. Bit of a tight squeeze into the driveway (we had a 7 seater ford galaxy) but we got the hang of it. We had a great time.

The Summer House exceeded our expectations. It is more spacious than it looks on the photos. It is very nicely furnished and decorated and is cosy and warm. Penny has thought of everything to make your stay an enjoyable one . Her directions to get there were easy to follow and she recommended several places for us to visit also with clear directions . Archie, her husband , is also very knowledgeable about the island and is very approachable. All in all, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend a stay at Knockenkelly.

The Cottage is in a gorgeous part of the island, with easy access to the stunning beaches of WhitingBay. Very cosy feeling but also practical, had everything we needed for a few wintery days.

Jess’s cottage firstly is in a stunning location. Situated right on the beach with direct access from the cottage via the very spacious garden. In spring the location must be a haven for birdwatchers, thankfully in winter the French door provided a good viewpoint for us. The cottage is ideal for a party of up to 6, although we were only two. The house has a beautiful flow throughout and would provide great communal space but also enough room for quiet space. All amenities were excellent and the coffee machine was very good. The best secret is the sound system. Quality Bose speakers and a fantastic cd and cassette player. As our stay was over New Year, special mention goes to the heating system, making everywhere comfortably cosy. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jess’s cottage for exploring the Isle of Bute. It provides superb self catering accommodation and again the location is excellent.

This was our second stay with Liz and felt like we'd never left. Liz was responsive as always and very welcoming taking time to get to know her guests. This is definitely recommended home from home stay.
