What can I say? What a beautiful little Cottage right in the coast! We had such a perfect, quiet and peaceful evening in the Cottage and waking up this morning and hearing the waves crashing and birds tweeting was such a lovely feeling. The whole cottage was very clean and well cared for, with a great deal of amenities to use on our little stay. Nothing beats the perfect view, and cosy vibes. I 100% recommend a visit to this gorgeous cottage!

Another great stay here. This is the second time we have stayed here and will be the place we will continually book when we visit family. Clean and tidy. Minutes from the beach. Can't wait to return.

What a fabulous little house! So cosy with beautiful views and a great cafe just across from it. Lovely walks over the cliffs - we saw dolphins and seals - amazing. Shame there’s not a pub in St Abs but we walked into Coldingham along the cliff path for a drink - we came back the same way as there isn’t a pavement on the road back but if you take torches the cliff path was okay - barely needed the torches as the moon was so bright. We will definitely be back again.

We were lucky enough to stay at this gem of a place, with gorgeous sea views. The flat is very spacious with a good amount of comfortable furniture. The mattresses are very comfy with plenty of storage space. Bathroom was light and airy with a great, powerful overhead shower in the bath. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with all the essentials you could need. Full size fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer, if needed. Plenty of parking just outside. So easy to walk into the lovely town. The beach is a stones throw away. It met our needs perfectly. Lucy is a great host and we would highly recommend staying in the flat.

Enjoyed a great short stay at Harbour’s Edge. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed as a family of 4. We loved the central location and the view out the front was spectacular. Would highly recommend a visit.

We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

We booked the caravan the morning we needed it as should have been staying elsewhere but due to illness we couldn’t, so booked in a hurry but everything was so easy and we were very impressed with everything about our stay, our grandsons thought it was wonderful, can’t fault anything and definitely worth a 5 star

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely caravan. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and felt really cosy and welcoming. Everything was just as described, and we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Would happily return thank you for a lovely break!

Fabulous holiday. Location is great as its a few minutes walk to the beach and bus stop to Edinburgh. David kindly left biscuits, tea and coffee and there was everything needed for cooking and also to maintain cleaning if felt the need. Everything was thought about so you didn't have too. Lovely and clean cabin. David was very responsive if needed. Access to the cabin was easy as keys were left in a key safe by the front door. Only negative was a constant drip from the sink tap. We resolved this mostly by leaving the plug in at night. Didn't impact our holiday. A previous review mentioned about play passes to access the swimming pool and Haven entertainment unfortunately to access these we needed to pay £58 per adult and £30 something for the kids each. We felt it wasn't worth the money. We went to a leisure pool 30 mins away in Dunbar which was great and had a fabulous wave pool. We're very happy to have chosen this place. I'm sure you will be to.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

Maggie is an amazing host. We arrived to find groceries already waiting for us and a belated birthday gift for myself. Communication was easy and fast. Kids loved the bonus of the play station and the two ride-on bikes. Easy to catch bus 26 from just outside the park to go into Edinburgh. We loved that the location of the van was close enough to everything of the park but still in a quiet section.

We had a great relaxing stay. First and foremost, the sea view from the caravan is breathtaking. The caravan is lovely and was very clean when we arrived. Pretty much everything you need. There's no WiFi or hairdryer but we knew that before we travelled which is fine, and we had mobile phone signals on site. There was a slight problem with the boiler when we arrived, but it was soon remedied with help from Mark. Don't do what we did and spend 2 hours enjoying the view before trying the hot water, especially if you arrive later. Overall, delighted that we chose to book Sandy Bay, can highly recommend it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Fantastic location for exploring the Northumberland coast and in easy walking distance of restaurants and amenities. The view from the apartment was amazing. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. I can't fault it.

Beautiful location, immaculately clean and cosy, was peacefully quiet, just what we needed for a few days. Many thanks for the milk, wine and delicious biscuits - an unexpected treat on arrival!! And so warm and cosy to walk into straightaway. A lovely walk along to St Abbs from the cottage, and another down to the beach and along into Coldingham where we had a very tasty pub meal at the New Inn. We were lucky to have blue skies for our entire visit -wish we could have stayed longer! Bob and Lu were very helpful and friendly in their communication, wouldn't hesitate to recommend ..or stay again!!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

We can only say extremely positive comments about Amanda and Seas the Day. The house was a home from home, we settled instantly. Everything you could want was provided and kitchen appliances were straight forward to use. The house was immaculate and well cared for. The area was quiet and in a good location for visiting local beaches and castles.We were blessed with sunshine which made every trip out, beautiful. Rockpool is delightful. Sweet little house from the outside but once inside it is just so well thought out and beautifully decorated. Lovely views and luxury amenities. We didn’t want for anything, Jen has thought of everything. Lots of thoughtful touches for example make up mirrors and glass pots with cotton pads in the all the rooms. All the instructions for various things were framed and placed where you needed them and all intuitive. No lengthy ‘shouty’ manuals to read. Absolutely immaculate throughout, warm and cosy with an abundance of hot water when needed. The cottage Is also well positioned. We found some great places to visit. Can recommend: Amazing restaurant called Jolly fisherman in Craster. Things to do: Dustanburgh Castle. Holy Island, so quaint and a lovely morning/afternoon (watch tide times)! Low Newton nice for lunch and a wonderful beach for the dogs. Bamburgh Castle, again stunning beach 🤩 Alnwick Castle, where Harry Potter was filmed. 100% Recommend 👍

This was a beautiful property to stay at, I would recommend it. It was spotlessly clean and felt cosy. Nadine had gone the extra mile and provided extra touches on arrival, such as snacks. Fantastic location for exploring Newbiggin and a great base for exploring further into Northumberland. Responsive host and simple check in/out. Great value for money. The host left plenty of kitchen and bathroom essentials which we appreciated. We visited as a family of four and found plenty of space for us. Walkable to the beach and local shops/cafes etc Would definitely visit again
