Great in the trees home. It was a great last minute find that made our mountain trip lovely. Very good location for hiking and boating along Lake Glenville.

If you’re looking for a well-kept, comfortable and peaceful place and property for a family get together, this is a must consider. On top of all the wonderful things Asheville offered being only a few minutes drive, we loved going home to this place and have chill time in the outdoor hot tub. It provided us (even our pup) everything we needed for a restful and fun stay. I highly recommend Anne’s house and won’t hesitate to stay again.

Home was beautiful off of a quiet country road. The home comes with coffee pods for the coffee machine, she supplies some laundry detergent and plenty of towels. Also has a baby gate for the stairs and a baby high chair and pack n play thought to be pretty amazing for families. Beds are full and comfy. I rented to work for the week local and coming home to this home I literally felt like I was coming home to my own house every night. Marcia is pretty amazing she will communicate with you very nicely and help any way she can. Absolutely recommend her and her home. I have many many more jobs to do in that area this summer and will definitely be using her home as my stay

The home was a fantastic stay for our family. Extremely clean, thoughtfully appointed, great extras (sharp quality chef knives, a true Belgian waffle iron, etc). We will definitely come back. The covered, screen deck was great, the front and back decks uncovered were very nice, as well. We felt secluded in the woods. Outdoor living during our one rainy day out of five. Thank you for a great stay.

Our family of 6 loved staying at Craig's place for our Thanksgiving get together. The home layout was perfect, the location convenient and it was nice to be able to bring the fur-babies too. Craig was always available to answer any questions and we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a nice weekend getaway at the property. It was very spacious and accommodating. We loved the bathrooms especially. The backyard area was very spacious and nice as well. I can imagine how much more beautiful it will be when the lake is full again. The only thing that was different for us was not having curtains or blinds in the whole back area (sunroom,back door, kitchen) and the front windows of the home. We live in the city area where we stay so we’re use to some sort of closure. Other than that definitely worth the price. Would highly recommend this property and come back again ourselves. Great place to stay at for the weekend. Bed was comfy and the sleeper sofa was perfect for our son to sleep on. This place had everything we needed. We enjoyed the little deck looking at the lake with the mountains in the background. What a beautiful view! The playground that was nearby was great for our son to play on. The Buttered Biscuit restaurant right up the road was perfect for breakfast! This is great place to stay at for visiting areas nearby such as Waynesville, Dillsboro, Cherokee and Bryson City. Go eat at Haywood Smokehouse in Dillsboro and look up Nikki’s Frybread in Cherokee.

Where do I begin, the best reviews about Mike's place hardly do it justice. The views of the mountain from the deck are breathtaking and even partially visible from the comfort of the bedroom and kitchen windows. The hammock on the deck with the mountain scape backdrop is perfect for reading or dozing off to the sounds of nature. The place was easy to get to, easy to access, immaculately clean, and stacked with more than enough toiletries and essentials. Mikes recommendation of nearby eateries and things to do was right on point and enjoyable for the Asheville local and visitor alike. Mike was incredibly responsive and so graciously accommodated my departure time. It was an amazing stay, pleasant, peaceful and fun. Thanks so much Mike and I can't wait to stay at your place again.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway for our family of 4! The property is gorgeous, quiet and, the cabin has the perfect amount of amenities. The extra wash house is such a nice bonus! We were a party of two adults, a 7y/o, and a 12y/o and the accommodations fit us just right. Check-in was super easy, the host gave clear directions, and the cabin had well laid out, easy-to-find guidelines. There was a gas fireplace that added an extra feeling of coziness and was perfect for a chilly evening. This property was conveniently located close to Pilot Mountain State park. (I believe it took us no longer than 10 minutes to get to the visitor center) Even better, we were in town for a wedding held at Pilot Mountain Vineyards and that was only a 7 minute drive! I highly recommend staying at this property!

This spot is a hidden gem for sure. My family of 5 stayed for a week. The host provided a pack and play, a welcome book of helpful places to visit, a tent in the guest room for my toddler to play in, stacks of games and books..long story short… VERY family oriented! Perfect way to unplug. We ended up purchasing our own soaps and toiletries, what was left out was enough for much shorter of a stay. I did not mind since we have a large family. Thank you Cynthia! We will be back.

Second time staying here with my wife. We love the location, being close enough from downtown Bryson City and yet still private enough to enjoy the stay with very nice views and quiet evenings!

We enjoyed the seclusion of the area & availability of helpful information in the book at the door. If you’re visiting during the colder weather like we did make sure to pack extra blankets for the beds & throw blankets for yourself & be prepared for the possibility of snow. Another useful tip is to bring house shoes to ensure comfortability of the chilly floors. We highly recommend enjoying the cozy hot tub & the amenities offered. Michelle was a very responsive & accommodating host. We will consider her properties in the future shortly. I Highly recommend GTR Adventures to rent a side by size & enjoy the trails & sightseeing. We enjoyed it so much that my husband is going to purchase one of our own. After a long day the gas grill cooked up some excellent ribeyes & made for the perfect evening accompaniment with the coziness of the home. It was perfect for our little family and we definitely enjoyed the recharge & will be back soon.

Ashleys cabin is so cozy and comfortable! This was our second stay at the cabin! We will return!
