The family met at Jim’s place to celebrate an early Christmas together. There was room for all of us. The kitchen contained all the necessary essentials. The town of Washington provided excellent choices for a dinner or two. I don’t doubt my choice in choosing Jim’s airbnb!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was cozy and close to everything we wanted to do. The water in the back was serene, and although the weather did not allow us to take advantage of it, we did enjoy sitting outside and watching the wildlife. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was labeled, and there were clear instructions with local recommendations. We had a great time and would gladly stay here again!

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property. Only thing we had issues with was cleanliness of bathroom and air filter. Both of which were dirty and clogged with dust. Only reason is was somewhat of an issue is because my kids are highly allergic to dust. Besides that, great property.

This house is beautiful!! I stayed by myself for my birthday trip and it was 100% worth it. Amazing views, and honestly after staying here I would consider moving to morehead! I love the area, everything is so close, and the beach is right there!! I went to the aquarium and a couple of stores around there. Also went to the oyster bar for oysters of course, my favorite!! All around good trip, I will say the road to get to the house is FULL of potholes, I thought I was in the wrong place at first. Just keep following the road and it’s right there, just beware of the invisible speed bumps haha. Also the shower in the hallway the door doesn’t stay shut so just a heads up, it kept bothering me so I just used the other shower.. but Thankyou so much for letting me stay, you will proably be seeing me again this year!!

Wonderful home, perfect for a long weekend away. Kitchen was fully stocked & had amazing views of the sound. Back deck had beautiful views of the Emerald Isle sunrises & sunsets. Location makes you feel like you’re tucked away yet close to beach, park, grocery stores, walking path, restaurants & shops. Definitely recommend this home!

Beautiful place to stay in the woods. The kids had plenty of places to run outside and they really enjoyed the kayaks and playing in the pond.

The location and setting were everything we hoped for. We were able to get to all of the communities we wanted to investigate and found a couple we really like a lot. The boat house was perfect for us as a home base. Jack was there to greet us when we arrived, showed us the details we needed, and met with us the morning we left. We had a delightful time.

One of the cleanest houses I've rented in AirBNB, and this even includes the air quality. Finding the house was easy and we enjoyed having the quonset hut for parking as it rained the entire time we were there. The weather enhanced the secluded coziness of the home which we really enjoyed. If you want a place that is peaceful and secluded, this is for you. It felt like it was in the middle of nowhere, but you can easily find some good eats and groceries nearby. We visited in the winter but I'm sure this place is even more beautiful in the spring/summer. We'll be back again for sure.

Truly cannot recommend this place enough! The lake was so incredibly peaceful and beautiful, we spent hours reading out on the dock and I’m wishing I could drink my coffee there every morning! The house had everything we could possibly need and felt like home. It had so many thoughtful details and decorations throughout. Jeffrey is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful, and we are hoping to come back many many more times in the future.

It was a very nice place for my Wife and I to stay while we experience what Wilmington had to offer.

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

Beautiful stay! The road up to the cabin is a little steep and most activities are a bit of a drive away - but it’s a very cozy place with gorgeous views and lots of amenities to keep you occupied. Couldn’t have asked for a better value

Exceeded my expectations! The pictures don't do justice to how homey and beautiful the place is. It rained 90%of the time we were there but it didn't even matter. We just tucked into the comfortable home and enjoyed some needed peace. Janice And Tom were incredible hosts. Great communication, perfect local recommendations, and even fresh eggs and pastries! Can't say enough good things!

We had a wonderful time at Mary’s cabin! This was our third visit with our children, and this time, my parents joined as well. We all enjoyed having space to spread out and loved spending time outdoors on the beautiful deck and the dock at the lake. The cabin is comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked for enjoying meals in, and the close proximity to town allows for dining out easily. Mary is kind and responsive and we highly recommend staying here!

Us and our pup loved our stay here! Beautiful views and such a cute comfy loft. We would definitely stay there again!

it was a beautiful place! the views are just amazing!! the house makes you feel at home. we tried fishing a few times, i think it might’ve just been too cold. the hot tub was a plus!! we brought board games & played while it was too cold to fish, but they have some there too! overall it was nice! they have everything you could possibly need for the kitchen, everything for the bathroom(towels, washcloths, toilet paper), tv in the room, and extra linens of course! you can’t beat the view!

This place was incredible! It was hard leaving this cabin. The cabin has a ton of character. We spent majority of our time by the fire pit and by the water. The time we spent here really allowed us to connect with nature and get some much needed relaxation. It was a pleasure to stay here. Also, the host was very friendly. Can’t wait to stay here again! Already making plans for another stay!
