I hosted a team event with 6 of us and the house we perfect for us! It had the best layout for if you want everyone to be together. As well as places for privacy and break out groups. The house and property were so lovely!

Our weekend was amazing. The main floor is large and very open and made it easy for our group to hang out and eat together. The lake is literally just 25 feet or so away from the house. It is February, so we were mostly inside, but quite a few of our high schoolers did jump in the water a few times for a polar plunge. Great value in the off season, great house, and great hosts.

The house was amazing! My family and I definitely enojyed the views and all the amenities the house had to offer. The Tesla wall charger was definitely one of the top reasons we chose this place over others; having the convince of waking up to a full charge every morning was great. Would definitely recommend this place!

Brenell was so helpful and so responsive - small issue with the kitchen sink but she was at our beck-and-call. The beach area and docks were really pretty, the hot tub was HOT and the basics (laundry soap, paper towels, spices, coffee, plastic wrap….) in the fully stocked kitchen made our grocery run absolutely minimal. Perfect girl’s retreat❤️

Our family stayed here for our Christmas trip, and it was absolutely perfect for a large group! The home is incredibly spacious and had all the amenities you could think of or need. Essentials like linens and basic supplies were provided, but we brought extra paper towels, toilet tissue, and trash bags since we had a decent-sized group. Some parts of the space showed signs of being well-loved and a little dated, but that was expected given its popularity and design for large gatherings, and it didn’t detract from our experience at all. The house’s layout and amenities meant there was no reason to leave after stopping for groceries in Snead’s Ferry and Jacksonville on the way in. Between the hot tub, games, and cozy gathering spaces, there was always something to do. Jerry and Ben, the hosts, were quick to respond and extremely apologetic and solution-oriented about the one minor issue we encountered. My family is already asking me to book this space again for next year!

If you are looking for a home on the lake with stunning views from almost every room, look no further. You will enjoy your meals looking out at the lake, a cozy fire and a lake view, or lounging lazily on a memory foam mattress with the lake in view. However, the view isn’t all you will enjoy. There are enough televisions for everyone’s tastes, games, beach towels, a pool, deck furniture, a fire pit, and a covered dock. Surely everyone will find something to do. I was really impressed at how clean the house was, how well-stocked the kitchen was, and the thoughtfulness of providing toiletries/Kleenex. Mike and Jorge are definitely super hosts!

The view of Lake James from this house is absolutely breathtaking whether from the upstairs deck or downstairs patio. Three of the seven bedrooms have lake views as well. The house was perfect for our crew of 14--although, with 3 of the bedrooms having twin beds, we did end up with at least 1 couple having to sleep apart. It's a beautiful home but there were a few bumps in the road. There's no table suited for more than 6 or 8 at a time for meals. The kitchen has a 48" range with 2 ovens but one of them did not work and the door on the other oven just dropped open without notice. The bar has a fridge and ice machine but the ice machine did not work. There was a sign on it saying there was ice in the kitchen freezer, but the kitchen freezer did not work either. It had a sign pointing you to a deep freezer on the screened porch. That one worked. Only 2 closets in the house available for use by guests. Small towels and none extra. HVAC took 12 hrs to cool. Still had a lovely time!

Great spot in a great location. Giant kitchen and plenty of room inside and on the front porch. Kitchen was big enough to host Thanksgiving! Everything was just as advertised and very enjoyable.

Sharon went above and beyond to assist us with reserving her place. My husband and his crew were working in Lake Lure area and needed a place to rest and recharge. Sharon was very accommodating and very responsive when I reached out to her. She contacted me by phone to ensure everything we smooth for their stay. We would definitely recommend her place to all.

Spacious and clean home on beautiful property. Hosts were communicative and helpful. 10 minutes from the airport. We had a wonderful stay!

Our family rented the Fountain of Young over Thanksgiving as a central location to gather 3 generations together. It's ideal for families; there are enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space, yet many spaces to gather together. The media room with the projector screen was a huge hit, as was the heated outdoor pool (a perk when most rentals close up their pools once summer is over). We enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pits; the private beach and kayaks looked inviting for those renting in warmer weather. There are beautiful views of the lake from many spots along the rear of the house. Lastly I must comment on the kitchen - I have never rented an Air bnb with a better equipped kitchen! Any kitchen gadget you could possibly need is on site. For all the dishes, glasses, bakeware, etc., everything was so clean - they have an awesome cleaning crew. Also love that this rental is green they have detailed recycling instructions.

The place was everything the host said and close to hiking and town so we spent a lot of time doing both . Loved goof in Jacuzzi after long hikes or cool evening .

Very quaint looking neighborhood. The house are very nice even have like board games there which I thought was cool. Left earlier than expected arrived later than expected so I did lose out on today’s worth of money but other than that everything was perfect. The house is fully stocked with essentials that you need as far as cooking. Close to a Walmart, which is nice for buying food. They have a really cool fire pit outside which we did get some wood for it so the kids could make s’mores which they really enjoyed.Neighbors were quiet and friendly. It was overall really nice visit. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend this property! It was spacious, clean and had wonderful amenities for us to enjoy in the free time we had at the house. It was perfectly as described and the pictures were spot on. There was more than enough parking for our group and the house was nicely tucked away from the street. Our host was proactive with communication and very responsive with any questions we had. If you find yourself needing stay in this area, this is the place to book!

What a wonderful stay we had as a family of 8! Although it rained all weekend, the kiddos and adults enjoyed the provided games, darts and pool table. The owners heated the pool for our stay! The kids loved it. The home is also located an out 15 minutes from the outlets and Top Golf, since it was rainy. We brought our dogs, and they loved running up and down the property. We even saw some deer cross through the fences! Besides the woodpecker waking me up Sunday morning, our stay was amazing. Thank you.

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

I had to have an overflow location for family and friends for my retirement. This place was ideal we experienced every part of the house enjoying each others company. It was a place where my old friends and new grievance family. My friends and I have not had a girls trip in years my retirement was the perfect time for us to meet up and create more memories. This place was a home away from home for us. We danced watching YouTube videos in the family room. We ate midnight snacks and food in the lovely kitchen like the golden girls, and my nephews 13 and 2 just loved being in the space. After coming to what was like home at this location during our stay even the floor was a resting place for us after long hours of conversation to the wee hours of the morning. This was the perfect location for a girls trip. We will definitely be back. The hospitality and convenience to everything was definitely a plus. Military Retirement and girls trip rolled into one. This was a wonderful place to stay! We had a large group of 12 people and everyone had plenty of room and there were many things in the house to keep the group entertained (many TV’s, pool table, swimming pool, and the awesome fire pit with swing chairs around it). Alex was an awesome host and responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. We all enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Great location with the public beach access close by, canal across the street and walking distance to putt putt and the pier. Heather was so kind!
