We had a wonderful break at this beautiful place, waking to the dawn chorus every day, listening to the owls in the evening, and even saw a couple of deer in the garden, absolutely beautiful. The spa was lovely, and was such a great experience to have it to ourselves, we felt very relaxed after our long weekend stay. Fordingbridge not far to eat and drink/shop for groceries, and beautiful New Forest walks only a few minutes in the car, would highly recommend, thank you so much… and the welcome cake was lovely too!

A cosy place with everything you need for your stay. Amanda is extremely responsive and warm and friendly. So many great locations in easy driving distance. Highly recommended.

Eve was a communicative as always when needed. The Old Stable was great for us and located within easy reach of the Quantocks and levels. A great place to chill out and relax.

Absolutely delightful barn. Pristine clean, many personal and welcoming touches, beautifully decorated and a serene, tranquil setting. It’s clear that the barn has been architect-designed as described, the interior structure is amazing. Bobby was a lovely, welcoming host. We had a heating issue during our first night which Bobby resolved immediately upon hearing about it. Fabulously located for Peppa Pig World/ Paultons park and many other attractions nearby including the zoo! We will be back.

Mooi verblijf in verbouwde stallen, heerlijk rustig en landelijk met rondlopende kippen, geiten, schapen, etc. Veel bezienswaardigheden in de buurt zoals Salisbury, Avebury en Stonehenge.

A second very comfortable stay, thank you! This is a beautiful, well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfy property. The hot tub is brilliant, with lovely views over the fields behind. We also appreciated all the thought that has gone into making guests comfortable, from the fresh milk and local cheese in the fridge, to the home made cake, to the stove made up ready to light, and not to forget the extremely comfy beds. Communication was always prompt, friendly and helpful - we were very grateful for the flexibility around check in and check out times. We will hope to come back!

Perfect weekend. Perfect property. Perfect location. When I plan my next trip to Glastonbury I hope that this property will be available again.

Perfect location if looking for somewhere to stay in The New Forest. Great surrounding walks and only a short distance from the local Town where you can find plenty of shops, pubs and cafés. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lively relaxing stay away, an absolute gem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Claire's lovely holiday home. It was an ideal location for meeting up with family. The accommodation was very well equipped, warm and spotless with some very thoughtful generous touches of teabags, coffee etc and some basic provisions. It was very peaceful and the parking was spacious. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you.

Amazing place, feeding the alpacas was definitely a highlight. Hopefully we'll be back sometime soon!

Was perfect for a Valentines getaway! We are so grateful to Sam and Adrian for extending their hospitality, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had plenty of information about the surrounding area! We have to give our thanks also to William who provided lots of snacks and drinks through his tuck shop :) The barn itself was cosy yet spacious, the bed was super comfortable and water pressure in the shower was decent. The kitchen was fully-equipped for us to make a beef wellington on Valentines night!! Even the temperatures were near freezing - that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the fire place out on the patio! Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come and stay again! Thank you again Sam, Adrian and William!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Thatch. Lisa was a fantastic host, and we particularly loved the animals, especially Horace the peacock. The location was perfect, as were the scones and prosecco that we greatly appreciated! They were a lovely extra touch. The Airbnb was very cosy, had everything we could have needed, and there was great attention to detail. All in all a wonderful stay!

Laura est extrêmement charmante et accueillante. Bien avant notre venue, elle nous avait déjà recommandé de nombreux lieux à découvrir. À notre arrivée, elle a tenu à venir nous saluer, nous montrer la maison et nous présenter sa région. Sa maison est un petit bijoux et nous y avons passé 3 jours vraiment très agréables. Elle est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et offre tous les équipements nécessaires. Pouvoir lancer un petit feu dans la cheminée était un vrai plus pour nous (Laura peut vous montrer comment faire au besoin). Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Our stay was lovely - we visited for a few nights as a long weekend for our first time visiting Cheddar. The Barn was exactly as described. It had everything advertised with added homely touches, the welcome basket had the essentials and it was a very nice touch to make us feel at home. The fire was perfect and Catherine was very friendly and proactive with her communication. Check-in was easy and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location is perfect to access both the local town and the gorge so highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Kim’s property, it was the perfect location to get to Bath, Bristol and head into the Cotswolds. Everything was clean, neat and tidy when we arrived. There was plenty of utensils and various items available for us to cook with and we didn’t feel like we were missing anything. Recommended. If we are ever in the area we will be sure to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn in January. The place was exactly as described if anything I don’t think the photos does the place justice as it seemed even more beautiful once we arrived! It was very quiet and cosy and felt like a proper retreat! Michele was super welcoming and even supplied little gifts for the children and the dogs who attended with us. There was so much thought and care into everything Michele had prepared and we were gutted we hadn’t booked more than 2 nights! Highly recommend this place and will be back to visit again for sure!

It’s been a lovely week long stay at Carol’s whilst in the area to visit family. The accommodations are attractive, cosy and comfortable and decorated tastefully for Christmas on this occasion. We greatly appreciated the flexible check in after our long flight and having the essentials on hand, including delicious baked goods. We had no difficulty parking and found the location very quiet and peaceful. Marshfield is delightful with its cafe, a couple of local shops and 2 pubs. We frequented them all. The Catherine Wheel hosted our son in the BnB and he was comfortable and well fed. We also gathered there for a couple of meals in large groups and great food with excellent service were consistently provided. Sweetapples Teashop just down the road is good for breakfast, specialty coffee and an afternoon sweet treat after a hike. I can’t recommend this accommodation and the village of Marshfield enough.

Thank you Sarah. A really enjoyable stay at Greenlands Barn. Easy to find, great facilities, comfortable environment, didn't want for anything. The AGA kept us very warm! Sandwiched between a couple of rainy days, we walked the River Tone on a bright, sunny Saturday and saw Egrets and Kingfishers along the route. Evenings in were cosy. Would liked to have been able to stay for longer. Such is life...

We visited Vanessa's cottage with our friends (group of 6) for two nights from 28th Feb 2025. We wanted somewhere that was spacious enough for the 6 of us, but that was also walkable to Glastonbury and near to a local pub for food etc. This cottage did not disappoint. The living area is very large with an open fire, three arm chairs and a three seater sofa. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need, and the bedrooms were a comfortable size. The view from the window across the fields was fantastic and we even spotted a local deer. The Lion Pub is around a 30 minute walk away, and Glastonbury Tor and Glastonbury itself is around a 3 mile walk (you can get the bus back if you don't fancy the return leg on foot). We weren't disturbed at all. We didn't use the games room but it looked really good. Vanessa was also gracious enough to allow us to park there 2 hours before check in so we could walk to The Lion to get lunch. We will definitely be back.

The pictures does not do it justice. A really beautiful place. Modern, clean and very homely. Kate is a wonderful host. The little details made it amazing! I won’t say what they were so that I don’t spoil the surprise for the next visitor. I felt as if I had known Kate for years. When I asked, Kate took the time to give me lots of recommendations for walks and restaurants. I will definitely go back. 😊

Spacious and comfortable with all amenities

I felt very at home! The barnlet is spotlessly clean, homely and has everything you need! It really is very well equipped! Hayley has clearly thought of everything! Host is very helpful, extremely responsive and friendly! Made an effort to say "Hello", which is always nice! I felt very relaxed and safe! The area is private and felt very secure. It truly is a wonderful countryside retreat! I will be returning if it's available when I need it again in the future! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

A beautiful cosy cabin in the middle of the forest! 🌲 A great place to stay for a few nights, with lots of different walks right on your doorstep. The log burner was a great touch and made our evenings so cosy. It would have been even better if there was another foot stool to put your feet up when watching TV. I would also bear in mind if you’re after a completely peaceful stay is that it’s located right next to a road so was slightly noisy, but the cars weren’t too frequent. The bed was very comfortable! Astrid was so friendly, allowing us a flexible check in and gave us information about the area 🦌 We were also kindly left a cake and fresh milk! Would definitely recommend and stay again, thank you 😊
