The bell tents were lovely, very spacious with 5 beds inside and lots of lovely touches like tea lights and useful camping things you’d never think to bring. Thanks Nicky and the team for a lovely stay, highly recommended!

We had the most perfect time! Jono is a complete legend and made us feel right at home, he couldn’t be more helpful as a host. The care that has gone into the conversion of the safari tents is admirable, they have thought of how best to use every inch of space. We were a group of 4 + 1 dog but it would have comfortably held the two more adults, they’re huge. We borrowed Jono’s biked and cycled to the Sheppey pub which is around a 26km round trip but relatively flat route and well worth it. We also used the pizza ovens on site which was a great experience too. Thank you!

This is a wonderful and peaceful place. The caravan is spacious and full of games, books and general stuff to keep everyone entertained. Garden is just fabulous and the wildlife flourishes. This is a very child friendly place with lots of space for kids to run around and lots of things to do without having to leave the comfortable space…and you have chickens as your neighbours. Location is ideal for exploring nearby places & attractions and / or you can just walk to Longford which is a stunning place.

We had a great time here. The location was picturesque and there was plenty to do on our week long stay. The tent was ideal and surprised us with how roomy it was. Check in was easy as in they text to let you know it’s ready and you just turn up at your tent. Each tent has a BBQ kettle, fire pit, two deckchairs and a large beanbag so lounging outside is to be encouraged. The views are great and the animals on site are friendly enough. The only gripe we have (completely not anything the venue can solve) is the Earwigs! They get absolutely everywhere! If you’re going to stay here then be prepared and maybe bring some airtight containers (even then they’d find a way in!). The play barn area and farm activities are spot on and there’s a lot to do to keep you entertained and although you have to pay, if you’re staying on site then it’s pay once and use as many times as you like after. We ate at The Cow twice whilst we were here and the food was great, service was spot on and for a reasonable price as well. We had a great time here and we’ll definitely be making a return visit, albeit we’ll probably try a lodge next time round. Thanks for having us!

Great intro to camping. We had an issue with our own inflatable mattress and asked if they had a spare we could borrow and Sophia responded quickly. The kids loved the friendly cat, great location between Lulworth and Weymouth both 20 mins away, big tesco 15 mins or so in Dorchester if you do forget anything. Campsite was clean, kitchen had plenty of utilities and electricity points for charging stuff. Bell tents are surprisingly spacious for us (5). Will go again and recommend to friends and family

Our original booking had to be cancelled due over running renovations, but the Harbour Escapes team found us another stay close by. The house was amazing and the little extras that were provided were great (beach towels, shower gel, washing powder, wine, tea and coffee). The team set up a group messaging service for any queries we may have had, and they were very responsive and helpful to the few messages we sent. We would highly recommend Harbour Escapes

My friends and I had a great stay at Driftaway. We hired both the yurt and safari tent so that we had the whole site to ourselves and were able to pitch up another tent to accommodate three families with young children and a dog altogether. The tents and shower blocks are well equipped with cooking equipment and games. The surroundings are beautiful with a woodland behind which has deer, foxes, badgers and rabbits. The hosts were really friendly and responsive when I let them know the loo flush in one of the toilets wasn't working well. They were very accommodating when we had other friends visit for BBQs as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay & would definately go back!

We stayed here on our visit to Lulworth cove for a trail race on the weekend. The shepherd's hut had underfloor heating which was great. Convenient parking right outside the hut too. Close by to good local pubs as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

A great place to stay, molly was beautifully restored and quite unique. Well equipped and although in a garden was completely private. We loved the outdoor lounge and the indoor bbq, both great ideas with their quirky furnishings and trimmings, a great way to add additional space to relax in especially as the weather was a bit cold and wet. The location was perfect and close to many interesting places to visit. Thank you both, lovely hosts.

It was so much fun! We wanted to escape any New Year’s Eve fireworks, and from inside the trailer we could not see any other homes so it was very secluded. Phone reception and 5G coverage is surprisingly good for the location and toilet cabin is only 2m outside of gated garden. Bridget was kind enough to leave extra duvets and the heater warmed the place up very quickly. I wish I had brought binoculars as we stared at the stars for ages. Bridget’s communication was quick and detailed despite it being a last minute booking.

We had a wonderful stay, the setting was gorgeous, the tent had everything you could need. It felt very spacious; our two young children enjoyed playing outside and loved the swing. The beds were so comfortable. The homemade bread and jam that was provided was delicious! Would highly recommend a stay here!

Despite the very changeable weather we had a great time.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits agréables dans ce camion réaménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Il est situé dans une partie un peu à l’écart du camping à la ferme, dans un environnement calme et splendide. Les sanitaires (un peu éloignés du camion ) étaient propres pendant notre séjour, et la cabine téléphonique réaménagée en WC est là pour les besoins nocturnes. A noter aussi un restaurant/pub à proximité, accessible à pied à travers champs. Je ne regrette pas mon expérience chez Linda ! Merci !

I booked this as a last minute surprise for my boyfriend, and when we arrived he said it was being in a fairy tale!! Stephen and Amanda came and greeted us and showed us the caravan, which is tucked at the bottom of their garden, it was so peaceful, watching the birds and squirrels. Everything was catered for and enjoyed relaxing by the fire til midnight listening to the owls. And the bed was so snuggley! Slept so well!! Highly recommend if you want a piece of nature and outdoor living with all your creature comforts! Many thanks, definitely will return. 😊

Had an amazing weekend away with my partner staying in the Shepard’s hut we had some nice walks in the woods 🌳that are right next to the hut we seen some deer 🦌 a buzzard some fish a owl and lots of horses 🐴 The outside shower was a lovely addition and was very hot the local restaurant were really nice we had a Lovely time in the evenings next to the fire 🔥 relaxing with a few bottles of wine 🍷 enjoying the peace and quiet and looking at the stars ⭐️ The hut was very clean and the bed was very comfortable also there was a massive amount of firewood so we never need to ask for more thanks for a lovely weekend away

Honest everything was done absolutely right. The space, the zen, the facilities, the site, the lake. Even attitude and friendliness! Amazing experience, and I will be repeating. 5/5. 10/10. 100/100.

We had a very nice stay in the hut and tent. The kids loved it, with sheep right next to us and the adventure of camping (although very comfortably so). The surrounding area is peaceful, but lots to do not too far away by car.

What a wonderful stay we had. Billy was a super host and explained everything perfectly when we arrived. It really is a perfect place to unwind and slow down and just get away from everything. The pizza oven was such a lovely touch and we used it for more than just pizza. However the pizza were great and the dough and tomato base that billy prepared were delicious. It was great to relax with the family and the kids did not want to be on their iPads once. We were sad to leave but we have all agreed it will not be our last visit. Thank you billy and team for a wonderful four days.

Great stay, the weather wasn’t kind to us but the place was lovely and peaceful!

We had an amazing stay. Beautiful location, very peaceful and private. The nights were quite chilly when we stayed but Georgie was extremely accommodating, making sure we had plenty of blankets and wood for the wood burner to keep us warm. Great hosts whose attention to detail is impeccable, they really couldn’t do enough for us. Our 5 year old loved it too!
