North East Derbyshire District : séjours à la ferme

A few friends and I visit this place twice a year to hangout and play some games on the enormous dining table. We've done this for a few years now and wouldn't look anywhere else. Everything is always really clean and tidy, the area is absolutely stunning and quiet and Paul is always great. Can't fault it.

Just back from a 3 night stay at the cottage and it was perfect for our family. The cottage was so warm and cosy. It had everything we needed and was a home away from home. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is set in beautiful surroundings on a farm. Would definitely 100% recommend to anyone.

What a stunning location, the Cowshed was cosy and inviting , everything was just right. Our hosts were wonderful, very friendly , proactive and made us feel right at home there. The location was idyllic surrounded by countryside and the views were unbelievable , every time you looked out of the window a stunning view. We had such a lovely time and would recommend this in a heartbeat. Lots of thought had gone into adding those little details which make it extra special like the local produce supplied to the items in the cottage. We wanted for nothing and could see all the hard work and love that had gone into making this such a lovely place to stay. Thank you Neil and Naomi for all that you did to make our family stay so wonderful and we will treasure the memories we made there. Thank you again we would recommend this to anyone

Our stay at Wetley Cottage was fantastic! The place has obviously been designed with care and thought in every detail! One of the most well stocked places I’ve ever stayed with everything you could possibly need! The whole cottage was very homely, cosy and comfortable. The outdoor areas had so many different options to sit and relax! Shetland ponies were an adorable bonus! Louise was so lovely and helpful! Even coming to tell us that the Northern Lights were visible! Plus many other super local recommendations! The place was private at the end of a lane. The surrounding nature was superb, we heard owls and saw many other interesting birds. I would recommend Wetley Cottage to all! Perfect in Winter and I imagine just as wonderful all year round!

Just returned from our weekend staying in Wirksworth! Beautiful location and within walking (although steep!) distance of the local pubs and shops. The b&b was perfect. We stayed with my parents too and there was plenty of space for 4! Thank you for hosting us ☺️

The barns are absolutely stunning with lovely views, and it's such a wonderful space for friends to gather. We had an amazing weekend, and the final touches added were perfect. Highly recommended.

The house was lovely, cosy and very clean. The hosts were really helpful before and during our stay, and had left lots of recommendations in the property. The surroundings were pretty and great for a run in the morning. We would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic weekend at the Rill Cottage, the cottage itself was just beautiful my partner & I loved the cosy log burner & our furry babies loved the nice long walks on the doorstep. We would definitely recommend this cottage & will be sure to return. Thanks again Matt & Lynne

Anybody that wants to go the peak district and derbyshire dales, this is the place for you. This was ideal location for us, Matlock & Bakewell both 15mins away, Chesterfield was even less. It couldnt have been better. The accommodation was excellent, peaceful, private and more than enough room. I particularly enjoyed the walk in shower and the bed, it has to be the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Everything you would need was provided including wifi, Netflix and an area for the dog to have a run about. My wife I enjoyed our short break, I fully recommend this accommodation, this has to be the best air bnb we've stayed at and we've stayed at a few. The hosts where very nice and friendly, will differnetly like to go back.

We had a really enjoyable stay. Beautifully appointed accommodation, felt very welcoming, cosy and warm. Great selection of games, plenty of wood for the log burner and would definately return if we were in this area. Many thanks

Booked the cottage as a surprise for my boyfriends bday and we had a lovely time! Specially nice if you are in a break from the city and the rush, would definitely recommend =)

My family and I are regular visitors to Alton towers to attend the running weekend and would usually stay in one of the resorts hotels. We were unable to book a room this time around but I am glad this was the case. Jenny's accommodation turned out to be a much better alternative. The place was immaculately clean, easy to find, peaceful and spacecious for my family of 3. Jenny was a very friendly host and we hope to stay here again next year.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. We felt at home in the cottage and had a lovely relaxing time for oursleves and my brother and law and his wife. Everything we wanted was to hand, we cooked one night and went to the Cheshire Cheese pub (only a couple of minutes walk away) for a great meal on the second night. Communication with Chris was great ahead of our visit and we saw him for a chat while we were there, a great friendly host. Despite poor weather we still got a good walk on the hills. We're so happy and relaxed after a lovely weekend and thoroughly recommend The Oaks / Barn at Mead Farm. Noel.

Lovely warm clean cottage , very quiet . Ideal for a night away in the hills , local supermarket and little pubs .easy to check in and host very responsive !

Richard’s listing was absolutely stunning. While the photos already make the place look great, they don’t do it justice—it’s even more breathtaking in person. The property is perfectly situated right by an incredible walking trail. Inside, the space is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches, impeccably clean, and offers spectacular views that make every moment feel special. Richard himself was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. My husband and I stayed in this house with a 10 month old baby and our dog and it was perfect for a long weekend. The house is brilliantly equipped with a really well stocked and spacious kitchen and plenty of thoughtful extras. Carolyn was a great host too, very helpful and responsive throughout the whole booking. We would not hesitate to book here again, highly recommend 🙂

Brilliant place and great location! Hilary and Mark (and Dexter) were wonderful hosts and made us feel at home straight away. The stable was perfect with everything we could need for our stay. The village itself has much to offer, with plenty of pubs and places to eat, as well as amazing walks and views. Hope to stay again in the future!

The place is beautiful and cosy. set in a lovely location in the hills right next to some cattle and sheep. The roads are steep and thin but if you drive with caution they were easy enough to navigate and it just adds to the whole vibe of the location. Highly recommended for a family of 4 like ours and there are some great attractions within a short drive

My partner and I stayed for a couple days in March. Everything about the Airbnb was amazing. Sarah was a fantastic host. We will be visiting again soon!

We had a perfect stay, the accommodation was beautiful, the hot tub was great, the communication was clear, it had everything we needed for our stay and would definitely recommend visiting.
