Lots of space , hot tubs and nice private area behind the house

The accommodation is located on a campsite, which creates a very cozy atmosphere. There are plenty of walking opportunities with little to no road crossings. The accommodation was clean and fully equipped for 4 to 5 people. The beds are comfortable, as are the sofas and other furnishings. Communication with the host was excellent, and we also had a contact person from the campsite available. Highly recommended!

Veronica and husband were great when i arrived for check in and then on hand if needed (which was hardly needed) gave me an excellent recommendation for a local walk which was brilliant. accomodation had so much character and was perfect for what we wanted it for.

We stayed in the annex for three weeks, as our son was attending an intensive course of physical therapy at NAPA in Harlow. The property being only on the ground floor was perfect for our son in a wheelchair. There is a step at the front door but we found that this was not at all a problem. Our stay was an extremely comfortable one. It is a beautiful property that is comfortable and well thought out. The annex has both style and substance. It feels like a home. The surrounding farm is beautiful and was a joy to look at. Sally herself is a perfect host - informative, kind and good fun. The only negative from me is that the fridge was too small for our purposes. However, Sally let us kindly use another fridge and I know that she has plans to install a bigger one. All in all, we loved it and we have already booked for later in the year.

Had a very quiet, comfortable and great couple of nights stay at Caroline’s place. Caroline is extremely kind and a generous host. The Airbnb was so well equipped, it was easy to feel at home immediately.

We had a wonderful stay – the property is superbly and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully tidy throughout. The location is incredibly peaceful, and we loved watching the cows (and the bull!) in the nearby field. The local information provided was excellent, and our host was extremely helpful and welcoming – we couldn’t have asked for better. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at the Stonehouse. They were fantastic hosts. The place is filled with artwork and is truly stunning. Everything was as described and the location was fantastic. Being able to have a professional massage and then sit in front of a log burner in a beutiful home was simply amazing. We will be back. Thanks for your fantastic hospitality.

Katie was amazing! We booked to stay here the night of our wedding and couple of nights after, not only was she reachable at any point throughout our stay but also went beyond in helping us when we had an emergency and needed transport. So friendly and really easy going, nothing was too much to ask. The lodge is stunning and the pictures are exactly on point in showing the beautiful location aswell as the lovely interior. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning to book again!

My parents loved this cottage! Was pristine, Cathanne was very attentive, kind and made my parents feel right at home. They loved the amenities, the bedroom and the living room area and said it was lovely. I will deffo be coming here in the future. Highly recommend this to everyone.

We had a really great Christmas stay at Paul’s place. The location is rural, tranquil and perfect for a city getaway. Paul was really great at communicating before we arrived and for ensuring we had everything we needed to get settled in. The barn is recently renovated and has a fantastic kitchen for those who love to cook. The log fire is perfect for a winters night. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely weekend stay. Dogs enjoyed the biscuits, very helpful with extra towels for cleaning their feet. Loved the apartment. Reminded me of my loft at parents house. Little treats. Absolutely LOVED our stay at Butterfly Barn and would love to go back. We were 12 adults and 1 teenager staying in the area to celebrate a 50th birthday party. The barn felt like a home from home - so well equipped and comfortable (both inside and out). The location was stunning. The hosts were lovely (we only met them because we went over to say hi and meet their dogs, otherwise they left us to it). The bedrooms were comfortable, there was so much space and plenty of bathrooms that we never felt on top of each other. Some of our party are early to bed, while others are night owls and this wasn’t a problem - sound didn’t seem to carry around the house and no one could hear others in the house whilst in their bedrooms. Everyone was so impressed with the place - it’s a real show-stopper!

The stables is a well appointed Airbnb that worked really well for our family. We loved the in unit laundry and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We really appreciated the hosts providing us with the essentials, rubbish bags, toilet paper etc and we loved that they had bought fresh bread, milk and eggs for us. The location was great for walking to local parks and grocery stores. We had a great stay.

beautiful place, very hidden and peaceful. had a lovely romantic break with my partner and would gladly go back. be prepared for the noises from the animals at night!

We stayed for a couple of nights while visiting Thorpe Park for the day, and this property was the perfect base. Check-in was quick and easy, and we were immediately impressed by the stunning double staircase and wide, open entrance — a real showstopper. Each bedroom had its own en-suite, which the kids were thrilled about as they each picked their favourite room. The large kitchen, complete with a spacious dining table, was lovely and had everything we needed — and more. The lounge and open-plan dining area were great for relaxing, watching TV (although we did have a bit of trouble finding regular channels), and playing games together. The place was spotless when we arrived, and we did our best to leave it just as we found it. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into making the space feel homely, comfortable, and welcoming — and it really did. When back this will absolutely be our first choice for accommodation. There’s a great pub for food The black Lion 1/2m

Jenny is a great host and the place was superb in every respect. It was very cold weather but the place, even with high ceilings, was toasty warm to return to. The milk in the fridge and delicious homemade cake upon arrival was a nice touch. The location is peaceful and yet very close to the airport, you would never know. Our little girls loved the pigs and sheep.

Upon arrival Sally was there to greet us and give us a quick tour which was really helpful. The house itself is gorgeous - so spacious, perfect for a large group, and you want for nothing. The kitchen in particular is such an amazing socialising space - perfect for hosting! The Christmas decorations throughout were amazing and really made us feel at home and in the holiday spirit! All bedrooms were comfy, warm and spacious. We really enjoyed the pool table and darts. Everyone loved it! Location was so peaceful - countryside for miles but only a 10 min drive from Sandy station. Sally was super responsive throughout if we ever had any questions. And the cherry on top was the cuddliest cat Batman! We couldn’t have wished for a nicer place to spend Christmas with the family.
