North Historic District, Savannah : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

This is an older building, but pretty well taken care of. It was a little frustrating having to have a key fob anytime you went outside, but I can appreciate the security of it. The room is exactly as described and cozy! This is actually two units made into one, so we were able to have our own space and so were my parents! It is a quick walk to the beach and to the shops. We rented bikes and rode all over the island all weekend, it was a blast!

Turtle Tracks was exactly as described. The unit was a cozy retreat for me and my two sisters and my 84 year old mother. We drove from 3 different locations and met up there to celebrate mom’s birthday. It was a wonderful weekend getaway that we will remember for a long time. We enjoyed the local restaurants and spent one morning exploring some of the many thrift shops. (We all have bargains that we brought home.). We also experienced a live performance at the Main Street Theater. We saw The Lion King Junior. The children and crew did an amazing job. I would highly recommend taking in a show at this amazing gem of a venue. Finally, I want to thank Jennifer, our host, for sharing her cozy, clean and comfortable condo with my family. Great location and unit for us and our two small children. It's an older unit with some signs of wear but overall well maintained and decorated. Nice to have a wagon, beach chairs, and toys. The king bed is very soft (which is a matter of preference). The lock on the door can be challenging. Overall a good value.

Teena’s place was beautiful -the beds are very comfortable and nice to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was so nice to be right on the beach and see the sunrise. We saw a lot of birds, including a resident pair of eagles! We were fascinated by the length of the difference between low and high tide and it was neat to experience it all. The indoor pool and hottub was nice to have since the outdoor pool wasn’t technically open yet (even though we did lounge on the chairs and dip in slightly when we got hot.) We enjoyed how peaceful and private this area of the island is. We would go back again -thank you, Teena, for providing a lovely home away from home for us.

Melinda's place was wonderful. She was a great communicator throughout the process from start to finish and made it easy for us to have a great family vacation. Her condo was just what we were looking for! It had plenty of space and well situated for our family. The Condo was well maintained and clean, beds were comfortable, sofa and chairs comfortable too! It was nice having the amenities like beach chairs and kart to take things to the beach. The pool and hot tub were nice to have access to especially on cooler and rainy days! Also, Melinda's condo is on the top floor but there are 2 elevators on the property with baggage carts to help you haul stuff up and down. The location is good, the beach is a short walk, and within walking/short bike ride to restaurants, stores and playgrounds! We would highly recommend and would stay here again!

This was our first time visiting HHI and we were not disappointed! Maurice and Marilyn’s place is centrally located, making everything easy to get to during the week. The accommodations are exactly as pictured and perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect for my sibling weekend get away. The location is perfect as it's in walking distance of all the delicious restaurant and neat shops. The second you walked in, you felt right at home. we loved the character of the house. Felt like taking a step back in time with a modern flare. Kristen and Jess were very responsive and greatly appreciated them. Would highly recommend if you want the amazing experience of Savannah!

This lovely and cozy property, with a particularly magical entrance, is strolling distance to Savannah’s parks and historic neighborhoods. Joyce offered clear and abundant information about restaurants, shops, and activities. The place was clean with amenities as well as interesting with art and charming garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We went with kids for St Patrick's Day and it was perfect. Plenty of room for the family inside the house, walkable to Forsythe Park and the parade route. We felt safe. There was some noise at night as it's on the ground floor by a busy street but that comes with the great location and the noise machines provided by the host took care of it. If we return to Savannah we will stay here again.

Beautiful place. Quick walk to Forsyth Park, a hip coffee shop, and a quaint little bar with the best sandwiches. Beautiful views of the church across the street. And a very responsive host. Only thing to keep in mind is the stairs and hauling luggage up and down, but worth it for the stay. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great place to stay! Very convenient to all the sights in historic Savannah. Walked everywhere while we were here. Mark’s place was beautiful and everything was as listed. Can’t wait to return soon!!

This eclectic house is perfect for a big group. The communal areas were sufficient for hosting everyone, and the bedrooms provided privacy and separation. The best part were the plentiful bathrooms which made getting ready easy for our big group. Everything was clean upon arrival. The laundry and kitchen were well stocked and we had no issues making a variety of meals. The host was responsive, accommodating our check in/out times and helping us reclaim some left behind items. Fitting 2 cars at the house would be snug if you have an SUV. But there wasn't an issue with street parking. The house is walkable, but being in a prime location comes with street noise. That coupled with light coming into the bedrooms made it hard to sleep in, so I recommend that travelers pack ear plugs and eyemasks. One other thing that will simply require patience, is the door lock on the front door. It would take each of us multiple tries to get it open.

Familiarize yourself with the after hours contact number in advance, keypad entry code, and keep your device on you to avoid a lock out emergency. The front door locks from the outside immediately and automatically when shut. Super grateful for the polite community support, and swift response from the host. Overall great experience and I recommend renting.

The house was beautiful in a great location. Easy walk to plenty of restaurants, bars, and a great farmers market in Forsyth park on Saturday! We didn’t want to leave.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment is cozy and spacious. It was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. The location was perfect. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and close to attractions in Downtown Savannh. David was very responsive to my needs and corners. I highly recommend this for your next stay in Savannah.

I was so excited for our stay in Savannah, and the town and property did not disappoint! They kept all the original 1838 features of the home, which was so spacious. On site parking was a huge bonus, although the bus route was only a block away. The location could not have been more perfect. Two misses for us, was the size/location of the fridge - you basically had to sit on the floor to access it, and it was very small. It held less than you would think, so a daily trip to the store was required. Also the coded gate was EXTREMELY CUMBERSOME, when the light doesn't work above it, and you also needed the code to get OUT. Inconvenient if going to your car to retrieve something, or if there was a fire. Those were the only negatives, otherwise everything else exceeded our expectations and we would stay here again as the location was perfect for feeling like a local.

Very clean. Felt cozy. The only issue is a password for the key and door were a little difficult to commit to memory so always had to pull my phone out to get into both. Otherwise, great location. I used to live in Savannah and this was perfect area for anyone visiting for a good price.

I came down for Memorial Day weekend with my family of 5, my parents, and my brother's family of 3. Lady Liberty provided the perfect setup, each family enjoyed being separate but together with the layout of the townhouse. My children enjoyed the heated plunge pool and actually spent hours playing. The house is very clean and includes many essentials to get you started (lasted the three day weekend for us), including paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, bar soap, travel size shampoo & conditioner, laundry detergent, and umbrellas. There are also a couple of board and card games. One thing worth noting, all exterior doors have a keypad however the door inside the garage which leads to the stairwell for the carriage house has a physical key. This key is located inside the kitchen of the main house. Since we parked in the garage, we were met with a locked door. The Property Mngt company was responsive & unlocked the door. We later found the key... We will definitely return. Thank you

Very walkable location! We walked everywhere we needed to go. We felt safe and comfortable and had no issues! Loved this location!
