Todella siisti, puhdas ja kodikkaasti sisustettu kerrostalo kaksio saunalla. Talon piha suuri ja hyvä parkkipaikka/ katos lähellä ulko-ovea. Erittäin kaunis ja rauhallinen ympäristö, olisko ollut joku vanha sairaalan alue?Asunto sijaitsee toisessa kerroksessa, mutta jos on paljon kantamuksia niin viereisen rapun hissillä pääsee toiseen kerrokseen ja siitä käytävää pitkin suoraan asuntoon. Työmatkalaisena arvostan erityisesti helppoa sisäänkirjautumista, hyvää parkkipaikkaa ja rauhallista ympäristöä sekä viihtyisää asuntoa jossa on hyvä saunoa ja levätä työpäivän jälkeen. Asunto oli lisäksi sisustettu tosi kivasti ja hienot ikkunat toivat asuntoon kivan tunnelman. Ehdottomasti suosittelen tätä paikkaa, niin työmatkalaisille kuin vapaa-ajalla matkustaville:)

Cottage

Heaven on Earth

Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

Such a restful stay at Paulina's gorgeous cabin. It was absolutely magical in winter and we loved exploring the area on foot. Paulina was extremely responsive and helpful at all times. Would definitely recommend to others.

Waterfront cottage with sauna and stunning view

Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit. Mein Mann und ich reisen mit unserer Tochter (10 Monate alt). Wir haben uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es war schön ein Feuer zu machen, zu grillen, in die Sauna zu gehen und im See zu schwimmen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und man hat von allen Zimmern eine tolle Aussicht. Die Zimmer oben waren zwar nicht so groß aber es gibt unglaublich viel Stauraum. Die Kommunikation mit Katja war ausgesprochen gut. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen.

Kuvaus vastasi kohdetta hyvin. Ohjeet oli selkeät ja Terhi vastasi nopeasti kaikkiin kysymyksiin mitä tuli! Paikka on ihana, meitä odotti kuvauksen vastainen glamming leiri. Ihanan pehmeät petivaatteet ja valmiiksi laitetut pyyhkeet plussaa. Hieman tunnelmaa latistaa autotien äänet, rikkoo tunnelmaa että on aivan umpi metsän rauhassa. Yhteistupa ja sauna oli todella hienosti toteutetut, sauna oli tilava ja sai hyvät löylyt. Ehdottomasti oli kokemuksen arvoinen ja uskon että tullaan toistekin. Koin hinta-laatu suhteen olevan kohdillaan. Yöllä satoi kaatamalla mutta hyvin Loimuteltta kesti sateen ja piti meidät kuivana.

Kelo House in Tranquil Bay

Beautiful setting, spacious house with everything we could want on a short stay. The mosquito nets on the windows were very useful. Sari was very welcoming and accommodating from the start. When we arrived, she made us feel at home and even baked some fresh blueberry cakes for us. We would highly recommend Sari's holiday home, as it's truly beautiful, comfortable and restful.

Wir haben uns herzlich willkommen gefühlt und hatten alles was das Herz begehrt. Um ins Schlafzimmer zu gelangen, steigt man auf einer Treppe nach oben. Parken war kein Problem, verschiedene Busverbindungen sind in höchstens 10 Minuten Entfernung zu erreichen. Die Waltti Mobilli App für den Bus kann man sich vorher runterladen. Alles in der Umgegend ist Zone A. Viele Menschen in Joensuu fahren aber Fahrrad. Drei Fahrräder standen zur Verfügung. Wir haben sie aber nicht benutzt, weil es gerade geschneit hatte. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

This was the best chalet / mökki we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Finland. The photos of the interior don't do it justice: the living room is very big and great for relaxing. The bedrooms are small but functional, and the sauna is easy to work (electric) with a view of the lake from the window. The lake was perfect for our kids, with a sandy, very shallow beach. We enjoyed a trip out on the lake in the boat and swam a few times. We also had a barbecue using the brick pit in the garden. A great place to chill and enjoy the great outdoors (Kolovesi National Park is only 25 mins away).

House at Lake Saimaa

Kuvat eivät tee oikeutta kohteelle, on luonnossa hienompi. Tilaa oli ruhtinaallisesti, varusteissa ei mitään puutteita. Rantasauna aivan ihana ja oma ranta toi lisää ulottuvuutta oleiluun, ja uimamahdollisuus kesähelteellä oli tervetullut. Oli mukavan viileä nukkua myös helteellä.

Very nice accommodation. We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is lots of space. The lake is very near and it is not far to the town center. Definitely recoomendet.

Yöpyminen sujui loistavasti pikkulapsienkin kanssa. Mahduimme hyvin matkasängyn ja vauvan vaunukopan kanssa nukkumaan makkarissa 👍Parivuoteessa saimme makoisat unet. Tunnelma oli rauhallinen asunnossa. Asunto oli siisti, 5kk ryömijämme todisti sen 🤣 Lisäksi asunto oli turvallinen lapsille viitaten sisustukseen. Asunnosta löytyi meille kaikki tarpeellinen. Lakaisuharjaa vähän kaipailtiin, mutta rätti hoisi saman homman pienien murujen suhteen. Sauna oli bonusta sateisien, pesiskentillä vietettyjen päivien kruunaus. Asunto tuntui kuin omalta kodilta. Sinne oli mukava tulla ja terassilla oli ihana istuskella illalla, hiljaisuutta kuunnellen. Voisimme majoittua uudelleenkin ehdottomasti 😊

Kohde oli viihtyisä ja siisti. Poreallas oli mahtava lisä ja kaksi erilaista saunaa oli myös kiva! Majoittajan ohjeet olivat selkeät ja sisäänkirjautuminen helppoa. Voin vaan suositella!

Retriikki - endlich zur Ruhe kommen

We really loved our stay at Mikko's place. The location is fantastic, with a pier and a beach leading to the lake. The cottage faces south, so it gets a lot of sunlight during the day which is great. The cottage was very well equipped with two kitchens to chose from, a rowing boat, a grill, a garden swing and many more items. Very clean water from a well. The equipment and wifi worked perfectly. The wood-fired sauna is also well located next to the lake with a separate cloak room. Mikko's lovely "mökkimummo" greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the grounds. Only small concern was that we did not know before that the grounds are shared with another cottage about 40m away. However, the neighbour seemed to only be there for some of the time and kept to himself, so we still felt like we had our privacy. Groceries in Lieksa were about a 20 minutes drive by car. Overall a great and authentic way to experience Finnish nature and lifestyle!
