I can’t say enough about this cottage. Not only was the place itself beautiful and charming, but the location!!! You can’t beat it!! Stop scrolling and book it!

Everything was perfect and peaceful and we enjoyed our stay very much!!! it was convenient that The washer and dryer were there. Definitely would stay again.

Host was helpful and super responsive. House was well-stocked (especially bath and beach towels!) and had all the amenities we needed; we loved the book selection as well as the pool and hot tub. Even the sewing kit came in handy. Quiet location within walking distance of the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants.

My husband and I spent a week at the redwood cottage at the beginning of April and felt so at home. Everything about the house and location was perfect for us. We loved the neighbourhood and especially enjoyed the backyard, with comfortable furniture, happy birds and a great, clean hot tub that we used every day. Communication with Elisa and Chip was excellent. The house is so nicely decorated in a fresh, beachy style. The king-sized bed was comfy. Lots of places to put away your stuff in the closet and dressers - it’s so nice to put down roots and not live out of a suitcase, even if only for a week. We ate many meals at the cottage, and also enjoyed a couple of the nearby restaurants. Dough Momma was great for a couple of pizza slices and Sandpiper Wood Fired Grill was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We highly recommend Chip’s place and it’s laid back cottage vibe.

Quite an amazing spot to unwind and get away from the daily grind. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay with our Chiweenie. We look forward to stopping by again in the future!

Felt safe and right at home! After a day of sight seeing, the jacuzzi was a relaxing treat to have available. We’d definitely stay here again

My family loved this place! It is walking distance to the beach, coffee shops, eateries and convenience stores. You'll get used to the airplanes flying overhead every 20 minutes (and they don't fly after about 11 pm, so that's nice). Check in, and out, was super easy. We're already planning on coming back for summer!!!!

Larrys place was perfect for our last minute get awhile. It has everything you need and is walking distance to beach and restaurants. Having a designated parking spot helped out alot in that area!

We stayed a week and this small house had everything two people needed for a very pleasant stay. It is very comfortable, relaxed, but also clean and tidy. There were many small touches that made it special. Location put you right in the midst of coffee shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay! I loved how chill and welcoming Russell was! Super helpful anytime I messaged. We really enjoyed having our dog be able to come with us. Other places I looked at that said they were dog friendly had paragraphs about what the dogs could and couldn’t do and I felt like having my dog at that location would be anxiety producing to keep all the rules. This place actually felt dog friendly. Lots of restuants near by had patios where dogs were welcome also. Having parking on property, off the street was a great bonus. We liked being close to everything, even downtown, but far enough that we didn’t have to deal with St Patrick’s weekend partiers. I was able to run with my dog through the neighborhoods and around the park and felt safe. The larger bed was comfortable (we didn’t use the other so can’t speak for that one). The darkening curtains were a plus since the house has great natural lighting.

My wife, 2-year old daughter, and I stayed here for an extended weekend and had a great time. Perfect location near Belmont Park and close enough to walk to Pacific Beach. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the quaint little cottage which also has a lovely outdoor sitting area! Everything was perfect! The cottage has a cozy feel to it! The cottage is nestled in a quiet neighborhood which is the perfect location to be able to walk to stores, shops, and restaurants! The cottage was exactly as it was described and the house was exactly what was shown in the photographs! We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit San Diego! We will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family!

It's within a 15-minute walk from Pacific Beach and close to the mart such as vons, trader joe. and so on. La Jolla Beach is also within a 10-minute drive, so the location is amazing. I lived for a month in March, 2025. The weather didn't help me, so San Diego was a little cold during that period. It was great except that I had to turn on a blanket and a small heater when I slept at night because it was cold. Thank you to Jerame who has all the kitchen equipment and gives you an immediate answer

Atalanta was a fantastic host for us at the Green Door Cottage. Easy booking and clear/responsive communication made getting into the place super easy. The private front yard was great and fully secure for our two labs, and dog beach was maybe a 10 minute walk away. Inside was clean and updated. Single private parking spot right next to the front yard was a plus. Everything about OB is super walkable anyway, and this place puts you right there. If there are other places in SD you want to visit, it is also very easy to get out of the neighborhood as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Victor was an outstanding host. I loved the cottage and its beautiful surroundings. I was on an extended work trip and brought my dog along, and the hospitality was exceptional throughout my entire stay. My dog enjoyed the enclosed backyard and felt very safe. I also appreciated the Brita pitcher in the refrigerator. I highly recommend this Airbnb! Happy travels! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lisa’s place is always the first place I search for when planning a trip to San Diego. Perfect location to avoid the congestion in mission valley or downtown, and it’s only 10 minutes from SDSU if you’re visiting your kid there.

Jordy’s place was perfect for my weekend in San Diego! The house was so charming and had all the amenities listed. Jordy was very communicative and answered all my questions and made sure check in was a breeze. Super convenient location too; it’s central to all the main things to do in the city! I would definitely stay here when I visit again.

My husband and I had a peaceful and productive stay at Matt's place. Working remotely from this property was easy - strong wifi as well as plenty of little cafes nearby to choose from. Love the location because it's so walkable in Bird Rock (and 1 block from my best friend's house). Overall, everything about our stay was low-key in the best possible way.

Robert was an amazing host! The place was spotless, in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and the location couldn’t have been better—close to everything we needed. What really stood out was the hospitality. Robert went above and beyond by stocking the place with all kinds of complimentary snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water—literally anything you could think of. And to top it all off, he even stopped by and dropped off fresh pastries for us! Such a thoughtful and generous host. We felt so welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend staying here!

Best of the best! This place is an oasis with wonderful hospitality and attention to detail. The cottages are super well cared for, very clean and well stocked. The garden is an incredible space to relax and unwind in. I felt like I was staying at a spa for my soul. It was really a gift to be able to stay here. Thank you Linda and Santos!

I loved staying at Anna’s cottage. It’s beautiful, serene, and in a great location. Anna is a kind, lovely host. Her care for her guests’comfort is apparent in everything— excellent communication, comfortable, really attractive furnishings and lighting, thoughtful amenities, the sense of light and uncluttered space everywhere in the house. Lovely outside space too. And such a beautiful view! I didn’t want to leave.

I had an extended stay at Daniel’s place and had a great time. The place could not be in a more perfect spot close to everything you could want to do. It was the perfect California experience. Daniel was also responsive and provided great recommendations. Overall this was an awesome time!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach cottage! We traveled with our two young children and this house was perfect for what we needed. The kid friendly amenities and peaceful street really stood out. The community this home is in is a sweet retreat, our kids even played with some of the neighbor children. I also appreciated all of the local recommendations. And lastly the location to the beach can’t be beat! Would stay here again!
