We loved our two week stay. The unit is small, but perfect for us. We were looking for a "less busy" location with quick access to other locations ... we were close enough to Sarasota, Siesta Key, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda. Some good restaurants options close, some within walking distance ... if you didn't want to venture too far. Everything was, as described ... no surprises. Our needs/questions were few because all was communicated well ... but, for the few questions we did have the host and the maintenance crew were very responsive. We plan to stay here again.

It was a wonderful place for our long weekend getaway. It had everything you could ever need and a short walking distance to the beach. Everything was described well!

Mike and Karen were amazing hosts and extremely hospitable:) my only wish was that my dad and I could have stayed longer. 100 percent plan on returning next year for some more fishing. 6 stars

This was our second year at Jennifer’s rental 19A. We stay the months of February and March and intend to do so for years to come. Unit is tastefully decorated and overlooks the pool. Enjoyed happy hours daily in pool area with old and new friends. Restaurants are all within walking distance with one even being next door. Beach access is just across the street and Lemon Bay is just at backside of complex. Weather was perfect this year. We had two different sets of friends stay in adjoining studio at one week intervals and loved being there so much have booked again for next year. Jennifer (believe it or not) is very friendly and personable 🤪. She is very responsive if you have a question. The cleaning service she uses (John and Leninne) are top notch. We’ve witnessed this when they cleaned the studio unit the two or three times new renters come. John and Leninne are locals are are available if Jennifer needs something taken care of right away. This is our paradise away from Wisconsin.

What an amazing place! Right on the ocean!!! Tons of sharks teeth🫶 Evan went above and beyond to make my stay beyond incredible, as well as, making fantastic recommendations for restaurants and anything else I needed! Being a native of Florida, (born and raised) this is the perfect private getaway and hidden 💎 gem! I almost didn’t want to write a review, because I don’t want to bring attention to such an amazing property! I will be back, thanks again Evan

We had an amazing time!! It was even better than the pictures if that’s possible. Beautiful views, amazing outdoor space, tons of comfortable places for people to sleep. We had a big group and everyone was comfortable and loved it. The kayaks and paddle boards were a nice bonus too, and we loved walking to Englewood beach! Host was very responsive and helpful if we ever needed her. We would love to come back here.

Beautiful, modern home, exactly as pictured online. Lovely furniture and decor. Plenty of space for our group of 7. The neighborhood is growing - a lot of construction in the area - but it wasn't disruptive during our stay. Close to shopping and beaches. Lots of extras available for use like pool floats, a corn hole set, puzzles, games and books as well as kitchen extras like spices, cooking oil, plenty of paper towels, etc. Zach was a responsive host especially after our stay was technically over. I left my jacket there, was able to talk to Zach and he facilitated my ability to get back inside and retrieve it. Would highly recommend.

Great house with plenty of intangibles. Safe neighborhood. Our children enjoyed being able to bike over to their Grandmothers house a few blocks away. Morning coffees on the canal and sunrise yoga on the lenai were one of a kind!! Hope to stay there again in the future!

beautiful home, nice pool and outdoor area for fires and fishing

This house was lovely! It had everything we needed for our 6 night stay, with indoor and outdoor space to use. The canal views were great, especially at sunrise! The garage was equipped with everything we might need, including a cooler and beach chairs. The neighborhood is quiet. We would definitely recommend this place!

Our family stayed here for a wedding. The highlight was definitely the pool and outdoor space. We also enjoyed the Casita and the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the house was great for a large group. The host were very communicative and on top of our needs.

Our stay was very comfortable and safe for children (grand). Upon arrival the home was very very clean the floor shined, glass doors were so clean you had to make sure it was open before walking through. The pool was maintained once a week and very comfortable. Plenty of seating outside for nice evenings. The boat lift was very useful and only minutes to the harbor. Definitely looking forward to renting again.

Matt’s place is excellent. Spacious, clean, and well stocked. Matt was super responsive and helpful. Easy drive to anywhere. 1.25 mile walk to Fisherman’s Pier. We’d stay here again, for sure.

Beautiful location. Condo is right on the beach with quiet, peaceful surroundings. Restaurants are within easy walking distance.

This place is so much better than pictures! The location is perfect, no streets to cross to get to the beach. The condo was brand new inside and beautifully decorated. The amenities were fantastic. Walking distance to yummy food and live music. The pool across the street is great for the kids as well. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for our 25th anniversary trip. We stayed 7 nights and we had a great trip! Condo is as described, has a pool, short walk down to the beach. Everything was clean and nice. John was easy to get ahold of! No issues!

Great stay! Thank you. We couldn't find the snorkel gear, but wasn't a big deal at all. There's plenty to do around Lemon Bay. Great music, fun bar scene, and once you get past the fence surrounding the beach, fun times searching for shark teeth.

We got to meet the friendly Host and her husband as they were walking out the door we were walking in they gave us several tips on the area.we walked into a cutely decorated spacious condo very well stocked and clean. The Host left us a welcome card and basket of goodies . we felt very at home right away. we also enjoyed the 2 bikes that came with the condo nice extra and nice pool and beach area. Also very centrally located to many things to do and restaurants. We definitely want to come back in the future. The location was awesome, great beach access across street and outdoor shower to rinse sand. Condo was spacious and clean. Linens smelled fresh and floors were so clean I could walk barefoot inside and my feet did not get dirty.

Our stay at Steps to the Beach was great. The unit was clean, well stocked with essentials and great location. Anna and Rick are very informative and have everything set up in the unit so it’s easy to unwind. They are also very responsive to any questions. We hope return again next year if the dates work out.
