Quite expensive, but a cute house. Lovely gardens and outdoor space. All you need for a weekend getaway, or longer.

We felt very much at home in this beautiful queenslander, it felt like we were visiting family. Everything was thought of, welcoming and clean.

Lovely colourful Queenslander, fully air con and ceiling fans with a big, fenced yard. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and the shower was great! Lots of space if you’re staying with a group or family. Close to the walk along the beach. Quiet neighbourhood. I enjoyed my stop over as did my dog!

Extremely well equipped and comfortable property in a quiet street. Olivia had thought of everything. Would thoroughly recommend.

Kylie is a wonderful host and Melrose House is probably my most favourite airbnb to date. She thought of everything and more! We had a not so great experience with our last host and had to leave, only after 1 night. Kylie was so thoughtful, she gave us an early check in, and then, a 12pm check out! 😀 We refer to Kylie as the Super Duper Host! We also loved Tinaroo 👍🥰

The accomodation was beautifully presented with lots of little welcoming touches. There was plenty of space and thoughtful additions to make our stay memorable. It was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb on Macrossan Street in Townsville! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything I needed and surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere of the area. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The host was fantastic—responsive, welcoming, and clearly put a lot of thought into making the experience as seamless as possible. I truly appreciated the little touches that made the space feel like home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time I’m in Townsville. Highly recommend!

We loved Richard’s beautiful home. The space has been thoughtfully designed and is beautiful and practical, with the two pavilions offering space and privacy. Beautifully clean and in such a handy location to town. Everything about this has the wow factor. We loved the pool, the indoor-outdoor aspects of the decks hallway. Thank you for hosting us. Another fantastic stay! This was our second time staying here, and as always, everything was perfect. The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Shane is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be staying again when we are back in Cardwell.

We had an incredible stay at Karen & Mark’s home. They were exceptionally hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The location is ideal—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the area. Staying in a traditional Northern Queensland home was such a unique and wonderful experience. The house is clean, and the area is full of character, and gave us a real sense of the local culture. It was well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

Great stay. Extremely great and responsive hosts. I was very greatful for it being pet friendly. Lovely pool and outdoor area with bbq. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Townsville. Close to shopping centre and short drive to the strand.

We spent 8 nights at the Beach Hut and didn't want to leave. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Brett was amazing with communication and had so many helpful tips on restaurants and must see places in the area. The views from the main bedroom and lounge room were stunning! I highly recommend a stay at The Beach Hut
