The Potting Shed is the perfect place to stay. The accommodation is well laid out and tucked away. Sam and Karen are friendly hosts but respect your privacy. We enjoyed sitting in the orchard area and were lucky with the weather. We walked to The Leather and Lace pub (10 min walk through the village), where we enjoyed a delicious burger. The pub is so interesting, full of retro accessories. The beer was well kept too. We enjoyed walking in the local area, visiting Glastonbury and walking further afield. Thank you Karen and Sam for your warm welcome and our generous goody basket, milk and local apple juice. We would definitely like to return. Mel and Simon

Beautiful cottage! The cottage is located on a small country road made the place feel really private. looks exactly like the pictures, super clean and lovely hot tub! sarah is a fantastic host and very easy to contact. A lovely stay and will definitely be returning and recommending! Thank you sarah!:)

We had a beautiful stay, the views from the air bnb were very serene especially at sunset. The beds were extremely cozy; a homely little stay, with a big garden space & hot tub. Perfect for a weekend getaway or short stay Bath being only a 10 mins drive away was great for us to go & explore Poppys home is lovely & communication from Poppy was helpful & prompt We had a wonderful time, thank you

Really lovely stay. Plenty of local walks and pubs and only half an hour from both Bath and Bristol. Catherine was a great host and has set up the place really nicely to make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend.

Family of 4. 2 adults, 18&15 year olds. What an amazing stay. The photos do not do it justice! The fire place is huge! An extremely large amount of logs included. The house is spotless, everything you can think of is in the house. All doors interlink and we had great fun having races who could do the quickest lap round. All beds were extremely comfy and lovely bed linen. Kate has used high quality products through out the house from bathrobes and towels to the toilet roll. This really makes a difference. Kate was really helpful with helping us find somewhere to eat. We didn’t realise that most pubs in the area do not open on Mondays. We did eat at the plough inn ( not open Monday and Tuesday) wow the food there is amazing and all homemade. Very dog friendly. We did lots of walking and loved having a beautiful walk from the front door. It was a great bonus having the hot tub to soak our aching muscles after. We would love to return!

Just back from a magical weekend at Daisy Cottage, the weather was against us but Danielle was determined for us to have a great time none the less! The Cottage was beautifully presented and already decorated for Christmas, everything we needed including wood for the fire was ready and waiting, and the pre-warmed Hot tub was a real treat. Fantastic location on the outskirts of Bath, I would recommend the park and ride for a hassle free experience! We would definitely return here again :)

Carley was an exceptional host and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was stocked with anything you would need and plenty of extra toys & games for the kids. Incredible stay!

Daffodil Cottage is a wonderfully cozy, peaceful and secluded retreat right in the heart of the countryside. The kitchen is well equipped to cook full meals from scratch. There was good supply of coffee pods for the Lavazza coffee machine, lovely crockery and all the cooking utensils, pots and pans that you might need. We enjoyed the bottle of prosecco thoughtfully left in the fridge. Great quality bed linen, with lovely white fluffy towels. The log burner, logs, kindling and fire lighters were great and made for cosy evenings in. Good size HD TV. Hot tub spotlessly clean and deliciously warm. A starlit dip on a cold frosty night was fab! Very pretty garden with different areas of seating. Lovely quiet and cosy cottage that I'd happily recommend.

This cottage is perfect for a romantic get away to. The pictures don't do it justice, it's simply stunning. Everything in the house is perfect and to a high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it, in fact, we already have. We would certainly like to return

Loved staying here , home from home really as everything that was needed was there . Fabulous local pub with amazing food and great range of beers which kept the boys happy ! Very friendly , so quiet in the village and very easy to relax . More pubs and restaurants not far away so we decided not to cook during our stay! We visited Cheddar Gorge , Wells Cathedral, Bath and Longleat over a long weekend . The area is amazing with lovely walks and views are stunning .

Our stay was perfect, thank you Sue. The house and garden are both beautiful. We were 6 adults staying and there was plenty of room, house is very spacious. Kitchen is lovely, we enjoyed spending a lot of time in here. I really hope to stay again in the future.

I feel like I’ve found my little slice of heaven in this beautifully simplistic Airbnb, nestled in the heart of the Mendip Hills. Even as we emerge from winter, the landscape is breathtaking—words can hardly do it justice. Staying here offers a rare opportunity to strip life back to what truly matters. Watching my dog experience the Mendip reservoir for the first time was an unforgettable moment—one that few puppy parents get to witness in such a spectacular setting. Not only is this property set in one of the most stunning locations in the UK, but the warmth and kindness of the hosts make it even more special. Their hospitality reflects the beauty of the Mendips, with genuine smiles and the warmest of welcomes. There’s little—if anything—to fault about this place, and I can’t wait to make it a regular retreat to improve both my dog’s happiness and my own.

We travelled 4 hours for this cottage and wow was it worth it! It could quite possibly be the best stay we've had in the UK. Everything was perfect and succeeded our expectations. On arrival we were welcomed by Anita who showed us around the beautiful property. Her small touches, in particular the lovely gifted hamper was so sweet. All areas were super clean, the views were absolutely stunning and the home was made so warm and cosy for us. The games room in particular was what made our stay and what made this by far one of the best bnb's out there. Everything from ping pong, snooker to poker and board games was available. The drinks fridge and log burner was especially a cool feature. We like to cook and the kitchen was fully equipped to enable us to make lovely meals. Before leaving we were gifted a bag of waters and treats for our journey home with a little card which was so personal and sweet. We will definitely be returning to this stunning property. A really lovely property in an idyllic location under the Mendip hills. We had a fabulous 9 days until 24th Feb 2025. We walked through the adjoining woods to a local pub, enjoyed a superb pub / restaurant just 25 minutes walk away (so good, we went three times during our stay) as well as taking in Poets Walk in Clevedon, a really nice lunch at the Visitor’s Centre at Chew Valley Lake and a even saw the Mountain Goats in Cheddar Gorge. The perfect late-winter break - we really would love to go back, to enjoy this toasty warm accommodation, with such comfortable beds and refreshing showers. Thank you, Jonathan, it was lovely to meet you.

Another wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Will definitely be back.

Perfect cottage with good amenities

Fabulous stay - so nice we stayed an extra night. Very calm energy and set in beautiful surroundings. We stayed with our new born baby for 2 nights then with our 5 and 8 year old too. The accommodation worked v well for both. The kids loved collecting fresh eggs, playing in the big garden, board games and table tennis. We’d recommend trips to Wookey Hole and Puxton Park (inc. huge soft play and lovely farm shop). We particularly loved a walk over Dolberrow to the characterful Crown Inn pub. The fancier Langton Inn down the road is also worth a visit and served delicious food and Butcombe beer (worth becoming a member for discounts). We had friendly encounters wherever we went. The accommodation had everything we needed. Big windows with lots of natural light overlooking the garden, and v clean. Thanks Liz for her outstanding hosting, communication and help throughout. V helpful info inside the property too. We have enjoyed precious family time and are already planning to come back!

The Hideaway is perfect for two people and is a short bus ride into Bristol. We chose to stay here because our daughter lives nearby but we're delighted with the high standards of everything in the accommodation. We would definitely like to return.

We couldn't have wished for more! Perfect location for our day trips to Cheddar and Weston-super-Mare. Beautifully equipped with everything we needed, and tastefully furnished with lovely art work too! So cosy and quiet, with a lovely view of the garden from the master bedroom. Great communication from the host throughout (even when we accidentally left a coat behind - he offered to post it to us). Every aspect makes us hope we get to return one day.

Staying with Frances was a pleasure. The location was perfect, amazing views in the country, we saw some lambs being born, which our little one loved. The home was cozy and clean, and Frances was always available to answer our questions with amazing local knowledge. Our stay here was fantastic!

Great weekend stay at Jayne’s place - the accommodation is very well thought out, comfortable and has everything we could have needed. Jayne was very communicative and helpful throughout the process and there were some thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. Really peaceful and the terrace and view are stunning.
