Wonderful location, right at the boat doc. You can watch the dolphins come in each night right from your private balcony. Air conditioner works amazing, and fans on the balcony was a great touch for the hot days.

Colleen was a great host and the apartment was perfect for our family holiday.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this AirBnB and couldn't be happier with our experience. The place was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view, which added a special touch to our mornings and evenings. Everything was spotless and clean, making us feel comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived. The host was also very accommodating and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Truly a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a rest. This included our dog, who enjoy the outside area and pondering across the water view. Caught up on some book reading, and local events. Will be a place to return to, perfect for a small family, 2 couples on a catchup, or just 2 adults and dog needing a great place to rest and enjoy the surroundings

Nice and clean place

We had a WONDERFUL stay. We were dog people, so great to be able to take our hound with us. With a fully enclosed yard A very homey property, we had a great mix of time exploring the island and naps on the couch. And opting to both head out for dinner and staying in to cook ourselves in the very well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend, we will be back! Thank you Patricia

The house was your typical holiday "batch", very laidback and very comfortable. Had a great time.

Jacks place was the perfect setting for our creative family. The eclectic choices in decor and art made us feel right at home. With a wonderful outdoor entertainment area, it truly felt like a villa pool. Easy to walk to quaint cafes and shops or head into the city by train. Fantastic house and location. The fishing jetty a minutes' walk away was an added bonus. Beautiful outlook onto park and river. House was cool, safe and quiet and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Large modern kitchen had everything we needed to cater Christmas lunch. Yard is dog friendly and there is an off-leash dog park a short walk away so the whole family was happy. Jason is super responsive to messages and check in and check out instructions very clear and easy to follow. Can't wait for our next holiday as we will definitely return.

Our second time at the Kingfisher cottage was better than the first. We loved the homey feel, being able to sit on both front and back porches to listen to the chatty rainbow lorikeets, and the secure fencing and gates that meant our pups could explore the garden on their own. Its so close to the ferry, which means we waited for the trip back from the front porch while our dogs could have a final sniff, instead of being cooped up in the car waiting at the dock. Coochimudlow is a small island, but has lots of beaches to discover. We enjoyed coffee, cake and meals at the local restaurants, just a short 5min walk away. We really appreciated the comfy couches, the stable wifi and the clean bathroom and kitchen of the house. Hoping to be back for our third visit some time in the future.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

Nice home with plenty of beds and space. Very nice outside with pool and dinner table. A nice recreation area just outside the gate. There is a bus stop nearby with direct line to city centre. No shops or restaurants close to this home, so car is recommended. We had a very nice stay and can highly recommend this place!

Mandy was really helpful and responsive. The place is lovely, extremely clean and beautifully presented. Perfect for what we needed. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay - Heidi’s place exceeded our expectations, and we would happily have booked it for a longer holiday. I was disappointed we didn’t get a chance to try the pool, which looked very enticing. Everything was lovely and clean, and the snacks were an awesome touch, especially as we got in late and didn’t shop before the first night.

Quiet, restful,…. It’s a lovely little “shack” it had everything we needed. Comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to just sit and read inbetween outings. Facilities were great. Close to the beach…Boobook Owl calling at night and we heard sugar gliders calling. Brilliant Osprey and sea eagles to watch on the beach…oystercatchers… we had a great stay!

Ann was a fabulous host. The accommodation provided was very clean, homey and very child friendly for my 6 month old and 2 year old - toys, cot, high chair all provided. The bedding was also cosy and crisp. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Donna is an amazing host who goes above and beyond for her guests. She is super friendly and great to talk to. The guest house is spacious, clean and surrounded by beautiful trees. The fridge was filled with essentials, and a delicious cake on arrival.
